Maggie was a fabulous host, so friendly and welcoming after a very long drive. The old vicarage is extremely comfortable- great beds, linen and towels. Breakfast was superb. Thank you

Quiet location, Excellent breakfast. Great host.

Breakfast was AOK
No one around on second evening and no lights on the access area which made it very dangerous for elderly people.

Quintessentially English home with very welcoming & helpful hosts. Loved having our own living room with log fire to sit & chat in, having enjoyed a delicious home cooked dinner. Great shower too.
Only issue I can think of was that the Internet connection was a bit patchy.

Maggie was extremely accommodating. We were made to feel very welcome with a fire in the living room and lovely home cooked food.

Full of character, warm, comfortable. Peaceful and in beautiful location. Large bedroom with lovely view of garden and beyond. Just as in the photo.
A little difficult to find, not a problem, we just missed the sign as the property is just before the centre of Kettlebaston.
Although I am sure we had the best bedroom with our own modern bathroom, the final flight of stairs would prove difficult for someone with limited mobility like me !

We had to extend our stay to 3 nights in the end. The house was beautiful, very clean and large enough to have plenty of privacy as well as having a wonderful cozy and homely atmosphere. The beds were comfortable and of the 3 rooms we used during our stay all were a great size. It was so nice to make use of the guest sitting room aswell. Our stay was peaceful and quiet and our daily breakfast very good. The owners were helpful and there when you needed them, but gave you plenty of space and the tea and coffee set outside your room was very welcome. We didn't order dinner, but the food options sounded good. There was a really nice pub not far away which also did great food.
Nothing really bad to say

Maggie was very welcoming and really could not do anything more. The Rectory is beautiful and I would like to have been able to stay longer.

Breakfast excellent. Bed superbly comfortable. V friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Lovely garden and so quiet!
No grab handles on the bath and maybe another chair in the bedroom would be good.

The Old Rectory is a really lovely place to stay. My host was very gracious and made me feel very comfortable very quickly. Lovely squashy sofa and log fire in the lounge was delightful. Breakfast was delicious 😋 I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a peaceful country retreat. It was perfect for me. Thank you 😊
