We stayed there for Laconia weekend 2024. 4 couples were very comfortable. The street up to a certain part to get to location is paved then dirt. The driveway dirt and rocks which is rough especially for motorcycle. Owner allowed easy early check in and we were able to park motorcycles in garage which was awesome.
Home could use some maintenance but overall nice. The location was quiet and secluded. Only downfall with the location for us is distance not walkable to get to weirs strip which we would have preferred.
Overall a great experience. I would definitely recommend to group looking for space, driving distance to fun, and seclusion.

This is a very secluded house, to the point that even Google couldn't find it.... (Use Waze or Apple maps, although it's not that far from where Google will lead you.)
The house was ready for us and Mike even allowed us to enter prior to the official check-in time. We took advantage of the kayaks daily, as well as the fire pit (bring/buy/collect firewood).
The water in front of the house isn't swimmable, but if you row the kayak for 5 minutes, you'll go past the water lilies. We've reported a few maintenance issues to Mike and hopefully he'll address them prior to your stay.
Apart from kayaks, there're stand-up boards that we didn't use, as well as beach chairs that I believe you may use (we didn't). Weirs beach is a short ride from the house. No entrance fees - just pay $2/hour for parking ($2.5/hour at the parking lot nearest to the beach).

I came for Laconia bike week, and it was the perfect spot to be close to the action but also retreat when needed! Very relaxing and host was very accommodating!

House was great, plenty of space and great outdoor area. We went at the end of summer so the lilly pad were pretty dence but a short paddle offered a great area for swimming and hanging out. Short drive to Weirs Beach where we got picked up for a boat trip.

The house was in the perfect location. It was near everything but also super quiet so you didn’t have to worry about disturbing neighbors. My friends and I had a great weekend there and enjoyed the lake and the pemi river.

1). Waterfront but couldn't swim or fish, overgrown with weeds, property not on main lake or bay.
2). Good privacy
3). A bit of a hike to walk to town
4). House was clean but could need some updating
5). Only one double kayak, one single, and one blow-up, would have liked a second double.
6). Table on deck needs different chairs, couldn't get in/out
7). Over priced for what it is

First time renting this house. Looked Not upkeeped. Deck and landscaping bad. No toilet paper or soap. Alarm went off late night. Scared everyone. Couldn’t get ahold of owner. Trash was far from house. Thought it was over priced for many reasons.

This house was perfect for our long weekend! For a girls-weekend away we appreciated the proximity to Weirs Beach, the Nazbar, Bank of America pavilion, and the Meredith town docks! There was room for everyone to sleep and gather and enough privacy to laugh into the evening without bothering anyone!
The homeowner was quick to respond to any questions before/during our stay so we felt right at home!

Was exactly as advertised. No issues. One of the best houses I've rented. I liked the fact that all you needed to bring was cloths...all else present and included. Other places I've rented you had to bring your own linens...or have to wash and remake beds before a 10AM checkout! I've even had houses where I had to go out and buy paper towels, trash bags and dish soap! This place had everything, and no worries about the linens. Would definitely rent again.

We rented this property for a group gathering and it was a fantastic rental. The house had a full wrap around porch and a little dock to take out kayaks, which led out the cove to the larger lake. The house was as advertised and we would definitely recommend it to a group in the future.

So many areas to critique.
After we figured out that the AC in the master did not work and the other Air Handler in the living room barely worked, we all suffered many hot summer nights on beds that weren't suitable for my dogs to sleep on. Not to mention most of the screens weren't in place or didn't slide.
The shower had a massive leak in it that left a huge rust stain to stand in and the fixtures barely worked. I'm surprised there were no backups on the toilets. The master bedroom door casing was cracked, so that door couldn't be closed.
There were two BBQ's there with no propane that were filled with grease. Had to fill a cylinder and buy a coffee pot. The worst part of the whole ordeal was that 8/10 of our group ended up getting sick from mold in this house. My wife got super ill, as she's very allergic.
We ended up following directions and putting out the trash on Monday by the mailboxes. The house was picked up with towels left by the washer. We did a final sweep and bagged additional trash, which we left on the deck for easy removal.
And the kicker- I ended up getting some broken English text's from the owner that we had "trashed" his house. He did not like the bagged trash on the deck as that was the only specific justification he cited. He then complained that the cleaning crew wasn't happy. I doubt if he even uses one and just doesn't pocket the cleaning fee.
An overall terrible experience that I never want to repeat again. Minus the lake toys and proximity to the water it was a totally regrettable decision to book this place.
We suffered the hot nights with no AC and our family getting sick from mold. The house is totally run down and is only suitable as an all male crash pad at best.

Mike was incredibly accommodating and made checking in and out seamless. Had a great time with close friends celebrating my brothers marriage. Close to weirs beach and secluded enough to not have to worry about being too loud. Thanks again for being a great host!

The photos for this stay don’t do it justice. Completely isolate beautiful home to enjoy some peace and quiet. It is minutes away from everything to make it simple and the host is as good as it gets. Highly recommended.

Michael was a great host, always trying to help and explain things to do and pieces of the house to use. Great Experience,

We had gotten this property because of a last minute cancellation of our original house and it was perfect! Michael was very responsive with getting us booked right away as we had to leave in a few hours. The house was in a secluded area with views of the lake out front. Overall a great place and only a 15 minute ride to gunstock!

My family really enjoyed our time in Laconia. Great place, perfect amount of space and amazing location.

We enjoyed our time but they really need to update things and do some maintenance both in and out. It’s a great place for several families.

The property is very secluded, yet very close to everything Weirs Beach has to offer. As mentioned in previous reviews, the house, electronics and furniture are outdated, but spacious with plenty of room for everyone. Kayaking off the dock was super convenient. No chance of swimming off the dock, but wildlife was abundant. Fire pit area was perfect for s’mores and family time. Plenty of towels and kitchen supplies to be had, but bring your own trash bags. Grill was great, and plenty of gas for grilling. Kayaks and paddle boards available were used, though the paddle board much less successfully. The house has air conditioning strong enough to freeze you out, if you want it to.

Having a bedroom on the lower level along with a bathroom and living room was a great area for those staying up later than those on the main level. The master suite was huge and bath spacious. The kitchen was fine, adequately stocked with dishes, pots and pans. Lots of towels and bedding. Tons of board games in the home. Lots of areas for the crew to spread out and no possibility of feeling crowded. It had central air which was needed as it was quite humid when there and many of the screens were torn so we couldn’t open windows and doors. Owner was very attentive and responsive to questions. Home could use a thorough cleaning and power washing of exterior and decking. We had hoped the grandkids could fish from the dock, however, the weeds and lily pads were too dense and they lost quite a bit of bait and tackle. The beach area for these homes is quite nice but it is a good distance from the home when you have kids and “stuff “ in tow. Fire pit a nice touch. The home met our needs for housing several family members and was the perfect configuration for us. No neighbors abutting so being noisy was never an issue. My deposit was returned automatically in about 10 days; no issue. If we return to Lake Winnipesaukee in the future we would definitely consider this again.

Used provided kayaks and paddle boards off house’s pier. Water too murky too swim. A lot of aged electronics. Seven remotes on TV. Never did use. Beautiful setting in woods on the water though. We had 3 families there and everyone enjoyed themselves. Wier’s beach is only a short drive for a day in the sun.

We spent a long weekend at Michael’s secluded waterfront property. The house itself was rustic. We brought many of our own supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, bath towels etc), which were definitely needed. The deck that wraps around the house is huge with plenty of places to sit & relax. The grill was extremely small for a house that sleeps 14. There was gas. The fire pit was nice with plenty of wood to use. We brought our own camping chairs. The view was nice, but the area of the lake was covered with Lilly pads and other debris. The kitchen was small & had a limited selection of cooking supplies which made cooking for a large group a bit challenging.
Because the owner does not list the bedrooms, here’s the breakdown:
Main floor:
Master with queen & attached bathroom
Room with 2 full size beds
Room with 1 full size bed
Basement:
Room with 1 full size bed
Common area in basement head plenty of room for 3 queen air mattresses.
There is WiFi at the house, but was intermittent.
We enjoyed our stay at Michael’s property.
