So beatiful and calmly place. Lake area is gorgeous and the view is stunning. Staff is helpful and friendly in every way. We booked at first only one night, but the we extended for 3 more days. Rooms were quiet big and comfortable. Clean and the food was ok, but not that special like we got in the rest of the country.

The building from outside is "efficient" but does not fit in this sourounding at all. But thats only from outside.

The location cleanliness , aminities rooms are amazing. Specialy we received outstanding coustomer service by "Nipuna" front desk. All other staff were good too.

That pool! Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the bar had some nice drinks and snacks. It is close to Dambulla caves and Sigiriya. We went on a day trip to a national park to see elephants and also to Polanaruwa. It was lovely to come back to somewhere so peaceful.

Very clean, nice pool and very friendly and helpful staff.

Nothing. However we found organising transport direct through the hotel was more expensive, so it would be best to make your own arrangements.

feels like home but with a much better view!

we loved the huge beautiful swimming pool, the super view of the mountains and lake. we felt relaxed straight away. lovely big rooms and the service was fantastic

Amazing stay, one of the best of our trip!

All was amazing, the hotel is so beautiful, the room was great, bathroom is huge and the garden with the pool is stunning! It's very chic and quiet. The best was that the hotel is very luxurious with a lot of charm but the prices of the restaurant and the spa are reasonable so you can really enjoy your stay! And the staff was really helpful, we really loved our stay there!

The breakfast was a bit expensive so we ended up not trying it and you can't really take a tuk tuk from there so the reception has to call one for you when you need to go somewhere and so the ride is a bit overprice but I guess that's the price to pay to stay in this beautiful spot!

Excellent couple of nights

We stayed here on our first two nights of the trip as it makes a great stop off point between Colombo and the east coast. Great for visiting Sigiriya and rock temples via car or Tuk Tuk (the latter very cheap). We stayed in a super deluxe on top floor overlooking the amazing pool. Food and drink are very reasonable given there are no other options within walking distance really. There's a nice chinese in main building. Staff are super friendly and attentive. Loved it

There's nothing bad about the place. Maybe breakfast could run a little later to accommodate dawn trips ( we made it back in time but it was rushed.) Wifi is a bit meh

Aesthetically designed and built in relatively quiet location. Eco friendly, open-air feel at lobby, restaurant,.... great example of sustainable tourist facility. Great sized pool. Landscaping, trees, water- body makes it scenic. Highly supportive F&B manager and Chef who customized a special vegetarian fare for an evening party in the lawns across the pool.

Small sized change room/ shower for the pool. Limited Vegetarian option for Ala Carte selection at both restaurants.

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful place

On arrival, the front of the hotel is somewhat underwhelming, which immediately makes you question your choice. However, you soon discover that all the magic is hidden at the rear of the property. The L-Shaped building encloses a beautiful garden area with a lake and surrounding woodland, teaming with wildlife from monkeys to eagles. Each bedroom overlooks the garden and the 75m long swimming pool which is magnificent. The outdoor bar and restaurant serve excellent food and beverages and the indoor Chinese restaurant is definitely worth a visit. It is the perfect location for visiting all the attractions surrounding Dambulla, including the safari park and the magnificent Lion Rock in Sigirya. A fabulous hotel in a beautiful place.
