Schönes Hotel

Sehr nettes Personal, schöner Pool, Lage gut in der Nähe vom Lions Rock. Gut Ausgestattetes Hotelzimmer sogar mit Föhn.

Etwas wenig Auswahl beim Frühstück, Zimmer hätten mal wieder eine Renovierung nötig.

Small clean facility . Pool is nice. Our kids really enjoyed it. However, there is NO way to get hold of staff. There was no phone in the rooms to call and frant desk is unattended 90% of the time . We ran out of toilet paper, soap, and no drinking water. We cloud NOT find staff for a while to get help. We were Walking looking for staff around the facility.and felt like a scavenger hunt . Once we find the staff they are very nice and helpful..

Very nice location and hotel, amenities could improve. Generally a good stay

Location was great. Walking distance to the town, in the middle of nature. The restaurant was good and the personnel very helpful.

The showers were very poor. No hot water and almost no water pressure.

For the price I paid, it was worth it.

The host family was extremely nice and helpful.

The room wasn’t clean when I checked in. There was what looked like mouse poop on the toilet and the shower had what looked like to be dead ants in a large amount on the soap tray.

Good pool, but the property needs work.

Lovely pool which was great for after a warm day exploring. Helpful owner.

Dark rooms with many light bulbs not working. Electricity kept going out, but not because of an external power cut. There seemed to be issues onsite with staff needing to go to the fuse box regularly. During our stay this happened several times including needing to get out of bed due to the fans going off at night and a period of about an hour sat in darkness in the restaurant.

Nice place with nice people and very good food

A very nice and cozy hotel with a pool and a restaurant. The hosts are very kind and helpful with everything. If you want to eat earlier or later, no problem. Need a tuk-tuk? No problem. And all of this at very reasonable prices and in a convenient location for nearby attractions. Highly recommended!

During our stay, there was ongoing construction and noise from the building work, as well as some later parties held by the staff, which could be bothersome... but I suppose it's only temporary ❤️

Very comfortable and recommend this to the locals and foreigners alike.

Clean rooms .well maintained swimming pool. The couple who is running the resort are efficient ,friendly and very cooperative in satisfy our needs. The meals were good and tasty. Hats off to the people who are operating this resort. We whole heartedly recommend this place. Wish the owners and the operating staff all the very best and continue to have that inimitable Sri Lankan smile,it is infectious but yet so natural. God bless you all

Good afternoon. The stay at the hotel was wonderful. The pool is beautiful and clean. The territory of the hotel is green and beautiful, everything is clean. The staff is polite and friendly. The rooms are air-conditioned, but without natural ventilation: the toilet room is stuffy, the plumbing is outdated. The food is delicious, cooked with a soul and a good mood. You can walk to Mount Sigiriya, even with a child and not get tired, and you can easily catch a tuk-tuk and drive with a breeze to the desired place. I liked everything very much, the main thing is to come with a good mood and not pay attention to the little things.

nice place amazing value for money and lovely staff

the property was very wholesome and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful but as it’s off season it was hard to find someone at times when we needed something.

the pool was a little sad looking so didn’t venture this area. rooms a little dated and the facilities are basic but fine for what we needed.

Great place to stay with family or friends.

Great included breakfast, wonderful pool for the kids. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was great and really helpful with tours, or transportation. Also really enjoyed dinners at the restaurant.

Some renovation was going on, but it was not a big deal.

Perfect location 20 min walking from the Lion rock. Really nice pool and really nice food. The owners very nice, helpful and friendly

My room wasn't in the best condition a bit shabby. The shower wasn't great.

A solid well-run choice with a pool

Bandu was a friendly and attentive host. Any issue he sorted quickly. He arranged fairly priced taxis and tours on a moment's notice. The pool was a nice spot to relax, watching the squirrels at breakfast was entertaining, and we enjoyed our private terrace.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing and the one dinner we ate there was as well. There are better food options outside the hotel.

Fantastic pool!!! Very good service & very helpful with information etc. Enjoyed good breakfast & dinner there.

Room was quite dark inside & poor lighting. Pool view was not easily seen from the balcony.

This is our second stay and service was excellent. Owner has maintained the hotel well and is expanding to accommodate even more guests.

We were missing the Wall-Of-Guests signatures which had to undergo maintenance too

Would be an ideal location if cleaning was improved

The villa is wrapped in nature with squirrels, birds and monkeys surrounding you. The staff were very pleasant and happy to help.

The bedroom and bathroom were not as clean as they should be.

A nice stay.

We had a very nice two night stay, the rooms were nice. The food and service was very good and the owner and staff were very friendly. The place is clean and the pool is well maintained.

Part of the villa was not complete, however it is not a big deal as it does not affect the experience.

Breakfast was nice, good coffee. Close to restaurants and easy to get tuktuks - the pool was a very nice touch.

The light in our bathroom wasn't working but was not a big issue!

Peaceful oasis

Friendliness of the owner, very helpful. Beautiful swimming pool. Easy access by car / TukTuk to Lion's rock and Minneriya national park. Restaurants also available a few minutes' drive from the villa.
