Excellent Accommodation

Lovely house in the middle of Southwell. 2 bedrooms on ground floor, 1 double en suite and 1 single/ double with large family bathroom situated on ground floor as well .Large lounge with comfy sofas and large TV and well equipped kitchen on upper floor. Lots of information provided on things to do , eat etc Coffee,tea and milk provided , a nice touch.. Becky the host was so accommodating and friendly, great communication. I would definitely recommend and stay again

The shower in en suite quite small but didn't cause a problem

Superb in every aspect

The service from Becky was exceptional and she was always on hand should we need anything. The property was an amazing find and will definitely return when in Southwell. The property was spotless and extremely cozy

Brilliant cottage, location & hosts

Cottage was perfect with everything you could need, location was great, a really lovely place to stay, little extra's that were left much appreciated would recommend

Very enjoyable and a good touring base.

Good base for visiting Southwold (particularly the Minster) and surrounding area. Availability of private parking. Property well cared for and equipped. Extra touches as a bonus (e.g. milk/tea/coffee provided on arrival, books/DVD's/children's toys and puzzles for entertainment).

Nothing to dislike as property was well both equipped and looked after.

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend with friends at The Stables.

Very central location in quiet area. Spacious and comfortable living areas with very well equipped kitchen. Great communication.

A fantastic location and beautiful place to stay.

The location was perfect, just a short walk from the centre and there was so much to do within a ten minute walk. The accommodation was fabulous. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the decor of the place. It was so tasteful and we felt at home from the start. The Host left us apple juice and milk as well as a plentiful supply of tea and coffee. We were there for a church event at the Newark Show Ground which was wonderful but full on so we were very glad to be able to come back to the Stables every night and relax.

A fab place to stay. Hosts friendly and welcoming. Friendly locals. Impressive architecture.

Spacious kitchen area. Bright, high-gabled living area. Very central. Spacious living room. Easy to get to via train and frequent bus from Nottingham. Plenty of information on walks etc. at accommodation. We went to the Workhouse, National Trust property within easy walking distance. Very interesting place. Do take the guided tour if you can at 12.30 each day. Very informative.

Superb property. Very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Central location with parking outside. Very pleasant and helpful host.

A really cosy, cute property, perfectly located in a very pretty little village.

Location was superb. Central with access to a wide range of eateries, pubs and takeaways. Property was exceptionally well stocked with all the little bits that make a difference; tea, coffee, milk and even cling film. Host called personally to check everything was ok.

Excellent location and despite minor niggles was a very good place to stay.

Clean and well appointed.

The plumbing to the toilet by the main bedroom made a horrendous noise when flushed! Very creaky floorboards.

Lovely comfortable apartment

Comfortable apartment which was bigger than we expected. Located in a nice town. Instructions for arrival were very useful given the entrance location. Host was very helpful and atentative without feeling intrusive.

Just what we hoped for in an interesting area.

Very central but quiet. Well equipped and the parking was right opposite the front door. Plenty to see in the area.

The stairs were quite difficult and like the bath would only suit the agile!

Simply the Best!

Loved everything about the stables. The accommodation was wonderful, roll top bath! What a treat. Everything you could want or need. Large TV with Netflix etc. Location Brilliant in quaint Southwell and Becky could not have been more welcoming.
