I stayed in a standard double room with two double beds. Host Abdullah helped me and went to a nearby dry cleaner with me to talk to the owner about the service and price although the price is quite high but it’s determined by the dry cleaner owner. Super helpful! Also helped me with where to take a taxi and approximately price, in addition to directions of the bus station. Amazing! Towel is provided. Shower has hot water. Breakfast is amazing with fried eggs, pancake, bread, jam and coffee/juice. Hand soap is provided in the restroom. McDonald’s 5 min walk. CTM bus station is a 20 min walk away.
No body wash or shampoo. Curtain in the room is too thin to provide adequate privacy. Room with two double beds is actually room with two single beds (the beds are of single bed sides, cannot sleep two people per bed). Toilet door cannot be locked. Need some hangers in the room.

The price since it is very cheap for what you get and the breakfast which is decent.
For a private room, you get everything but privacy. The curtains are useless, everyone could see us sleeping or just chilling in the room, and we could see everyone on the other side. We had to put towels over the curtains, but it didn’t last long since it was 35 degrees and there is no A/C, it did not let the air go in the room. I wandered around looking for the guard in order to ask if they had a fan but no one was there. Furthermore, it was very noisy. Cars, people, dogs… if you have a long ride the next day I do not recommend staying here!
And a second thing, it mentions a shared kitchen on booking. Though, when I went to cook for lunch, I was told I could not use the kitchen. We only had the right to use the fridge, which doesn’t make much sense for a hostel. There ain’t a microwave or anything we had access to eat or cook.
Lastly, the location is not the best if you are here for the Medina.

Good position. Quiet. Wonderful staff
It’s an old style facility and in mid summer the room was too hot. No aircon ok but a fan would have helped. Towel not provided.

Host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also nice.
There were cockroaches in the bathroom, also bedroom was quite hot.

The location was good, only a few minutes away from the mall and in a calm neighbourhood. The breakfast was tasty. The hosts were friendly and kind.
In the room there was only a bed and the room was a bit smelly. The showers were a bit dirty.
When asked, the staff didn't want to call us a taxi.

first things firts, i would live to make a mention to the manager Abdul, what a great guy. helpfully and very hard working, will make everything possible to make your stay perfect.
the place is very chill, close by walk to the train station and by taxi from the medina. A hostel with the energy of Marocco and not from this instagram fake friendly hostels types.
love it.

Nothing
Broken shower, broken toilets, bad breakfast, old furniture. No privacy in bathroom area. It’s not comfortable to stay and I think it’s not safe either.

The perfect place to explore Fes and relax outside the buisy medina. Nice authentic neighborhood with good vibrations in the streets. The people working in the hostel are really nice and helpful and we felt really home at the hostel!

Strategically located in the new city centre, between CTM bus station (20 mins walk) and Fez train station (15 mins walk). 5 mins walk to McDonald's and a shopping mall. The host is friendly and caring, always makes dure everything is going well.
Will be great if provide kitchen facility. Breakfast time could be more flexible

the staff was super friendly, telling me important things like what to be aware off, what to avoid and such.has great tour guides on a phone call away(200dh), its not far from the train and bus station but a little further from medina
they close the entrance gate, so i had to knock and wait every time i got back a bit later in the night

I think location are the only good thing about that place. maybe being there in different season than winter my feelings might be different. but in winter time it was just way too cold for me, and electric heater I get from owner was broken and cooling my room even more. except that it was not worst place you can find
coldness

Good location. Nice hospitality. Definetly recommended.

The decoration and the staff there very friendly and helpful.
At the cold weather the only hot water was in shower!, also the basic facilities in the room wasn't available like a basket or tissues. The room was very cold, overall it wasn't so bad but not goof as well.
3.5
Warm welcome, excellent communication, location
Crumbs and human hair in the sheets and over pillows - evidently the room wasn’t cleaned properly, sheets were not washed after a previous guest. I expected it would be a basic room and didn’t mind the bare minimum in terms of facilities. However, keeping on top of hygiene is very important and easily achievable. It’s a reasonable expectation for any class of accommodation. This made my stay rather uncomfortable.

This is the first Youth Hostel in Fez dating back to the 1960s. It's in the Ville Nouvelle but minutes from the French Protectorate built central market and the main avenues. 20 min walk from the Mellah. Best value for money! The staff are always there for you. Breakfast is 2€ and you can't eat it all. Since 2019 I almost always stay there when in Fez.

Very calm place with a kind and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast.
Kitchen and bathroom infrastructure could be improved. Breakfast starts too late.
4.5
We absolutely loved the helpful and generous staff at the hostel! While amenities are basic, there’s nothing you could want more for this great price. The location is safe and we enjoyed gathering in the reading room and courtyard while we weren’t out at the Medina.
The hot water isn’t consistent in the showers, but not a huge deal.
3.5
staff working there was absolutely amazing. They’ll help you even getting a guide and transfer for the city tour
the patio is surrounded by the rooms and it can get noisy. it wasn’t an issue for us, but if people want a quiet night sleep, they should consider another option when choosing the accommodation.
