とても素敵なホテルでした。床のタイル、天井絵、調度品、すべてがかわいくて、それらを眺めることがとても楽しかったです。
立地も港から10分足らずで、でも少し丘を登るために景色は絶景!最高の滞在でした。

Staff were amazing! They went out of their way to help in anyway they could. They were always smiling and welcoming anytime you passed them. We loved the pool area and swimming in the sea! Dinner at the restaurant was delicious! Location was excellent. Easy walk to Amalfi plaza area and port; also fun to walk to Atrani 🤗 we would definitely stay here again!!!

The hotel was an old convent so it had wonderful aesthetics. It’s on the point with amazing views and a wonderful pool area overlooking the sea. There were areas to get into the sea and swim, as well. The staff was top notch and very attentive. Our room was great with a staircase leading to a terrace overlooking the sea. The AC was fabulous! Breakfast was plentiful and had many great choices.
Nothing.

Amazing staff. Perfect location on Amalfi coast. Great history of the hotel. Clean.
May need hair conditioner as one of the amenities for their North American guests.

Everything at this lovely property was so stellar. We loved our stay there and so wished we had come to Amalfi for a longer period of time so we could enjoy a longer visit. Meeting the staff was one of the highlights for us. Antonella welcomed us like family and made us feel so special. She was warm, engaging and so professional as well. Her front desk associates were wonderful to and we appreciated the help of Cartolo (sp?) so much. He did everything he could to get us in and out of the hotel comfortably. Plus we so so so enjoyed the staff in the restaurant. We had an exceptional dinner there and breakfast was amazing. We will always book accommodations with Hotel Luna Convento when in Amalfi. We had a wonderful time there. Thanks to everyone and hugs from Eric and I. Carla Wilkerson
Nothing! It was excellent!!! Such a beautiful and cultural experience for both of us. The historic beauty was more than we expected for sure. Comfortable beyond as well and the view from our room was magnificent.

The building (a converted centuries-old monastery) was lovely. The staff was absolutely amazing and the breakfast buffet was good.
The bed was hard and bathroom very small. Size of bathrooms vary per room.

View. The room was fine. Bathroom shower is too small. More plugs would be helpful, given technology. The challenge is that it is an 800 year old building. Heated floors are fantastic.
The bathroom was fine. Toilet and bidet are a must. The shower was too small.

The hotel has a super location. Close enough to the action in Amalfi central but just far enough away so you're not in the heart with all the noise and tourist. The property is rich in history as a monastery and very well appointed. Love the boutique feel. We drove to Amalfi to enjoy the drive so it was a relief that the hotel offered parking (which is very difficult in that area).
The food at the hotel was expensive and nothing special. We had dinner there one night and we only had 2 dishes and the total came to almost EUR 75. I know it's Amalfi so expect to pay more, but I was hoping for a tastier meal. The breakfast gets great reviews at this hotel but to be honest, we travelled all over Italy, and it's just about average. You're paying for breakfast with a view to be honest. Finally, the big disappointment was that the hotel didn't have irons to use. The explanation was due to hotel safety - it's a historical hotel so I totally understand that. However, there are ways to still accommodate. We stayed at a hotel in Rome and in Venice that also had the same safety issues so what they instituted was a time limit on using the iron. 30 minutes at a time. It's a little crazy to think that travelers are showing up with perfectly crisp, ironed clothing. We have things in suitcases and they will be crushed. An iron is a basic need at any hotel in my opinion and is a global standard. Have a common space that's supervised even for ironing if you are that careful about ironing in bedrooms. You can find a way. Just be creative.

Good location. Good architecture. Interesting history. Good cleaning staff. Great breakfast! Good restaurant. Easy check-in and out. Polite Staff. Ceilings were beautiful. Great view of the Tyrrhenian Sea! LOVED THE POOL AND CLIFF SIDE LOUNGE - Beautiful view!! Staff was kind to guest visitors.
Evening staff and room service were lacking and untimely. Quality of room service was underwhelming for the price of our stay. Garden was smaller than expected and photos seem a tad deceptive in depicting the general essence and vibe of this hotel. It seemed outdated and unoccupied. A bit disappointed with our overall experience - we expected the hotel to be a bit more lively and cared for.

Location & style of hotel (former convent)
Partially a bit very traditional

The history and architecture of the hotel are incredible! The tiles in the hallways and rooms are gorgeous, the place was impeccably clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was delicious and the views were perfect!
The pillows were not comfortable. Very flat and firm. Italian pillows seem to be lower than what I'm used to in Canada, but those were just really strange. I managed to bunch one in a somewhat comfortable way but my husband could not find a comfortable position.

I loved the location and the water access and pool. We also had an amazing view from our superior suite.
There could have been more pillows available.

Excellent location of the hotel between two "bays" Amalfi and Atrani
The hotel pool also has an excellent location, although you had to cross the road to get to it, but it refreshed you after a few hours of driving and provided a wonderful view.
Really elegant look of the hotel, rooms, dining room and courtyard
Professional and kind staff, at the reception, by the pool but also in the dining room.
We wanted to have dinner in the ancient tower below the hotel, but the staff at the reception elegantly guided us to the hotel restaurant for dinner.
A romantic dinner with a view of illuminated Amalfi was really special.
I'm glad that after dinner they talked me into a really special lemon dessert.
A positive thing was the possibility to park the car in the mini parking lot in front of the hotel, since the staff placed it in the nearby paid garage.

Loved the hotel's history, pool and location just outside Amalfi center.
Great artists and writers have stayed here over the years and the hotel's history as a destination where Ibsen wrote inspired us. The fact that he wrote Doll house here is quite amazing. And Ibsens presence can be felt through the hotel.
We booked a double room with view of the sea and it was wonderful. We saw blue ocean until the horizon and had nice view of Amalfi town in the evening.
The Amazon ng pool also had stairs down to the sea, so this is a perfect destination for couples where one might prefer the pool and one to swim in the sea.
Staff was very friendly. Met members of the owners family as well, they were so nice and we hope to return next season.
Only worth noting is that the entrance can be a bit difficult to spot.
The entrance is on street level through a small door where you will find two elevator's that will take you to the lobby.
A bit expensive in the peak season. A local told us that June and late September are more affordable.
