Breakfast was excellent and the rooftop terrace wonderful.
Our room was a mezzanine and we slept on the top floor, with the air conditioning on the ground floor. Heat rises and we found it quite hot at night.

A great hotel on Ortigia that offers parking. A quiet room on the top floor that was comfortable. Initially the air conditioning was not functioning but promptly resolved at the front desk. Amazing breakfast of the highest quality with great views

Amazing breakfasts on the balcony with a spectacular view of the harbour. Also a great spot for a sun-downer.
The solo violinist who serenaded the folks having evening drinks was a bit cheesy. The hotel is on a strip with bars etc so it is a bit noisy.

Wonderful restaurant for breakfast with superb views and good food.
No swimming pool

Location, breakfast
Junior suite room was on two floors with a narrow windy staircase. We travelled in a group and the people that needed a twin room in the Deluxe Sea View got a much smaller room than the solo traveller. Also no balcony for that room.
The reception staff were not very friendly or approachable and didn't answer the phone from the room at all.

Beautiful location, good breakfast, spotless clean, room spacious. The view from the rooftop was nice. There is a valet and parking spot just opposite the hotel.
Room: the furniture is outdated, and the pink linnen and embroided pink pillows were from another century in my view.
Rooftop: Nice view but a few tables scattered around, with a little effort in decoration it would be very nice.
Meals: very repetitive.
Spa: make sure you book your treatments at the time of reservation
Internet: bad

An ideal location but the room was a little on the cramped side. The bath was a bit narrow with little elbow room (more like a straight-jacket.)
I really don't need my room to be made up twice each day, with everything put back in place regardless of my putting things where I want them. The window was closed each time, the air-conditioning turned on and the temperature reset to a very warm level, meaning I had to open the window and turn the air-conditioning back off each time.
The staff in the terrace restaurant were too formal.

The New Year's Eve Dinner was excellent, actually beyond our expectations with excellent food / wine and service and over all fantastic entertainment
would have preferred to have a room which everything was on one floor, next visit i will ask for such a room as it more convenient

Great location. Beautiful breakfast and breakfast room. Staff was lovely.
The room I was in was very strange. It had a bedroom that was a loft that I access to a small staircase in the bathroom and small sitting area was downstairs.

We booked the hotel for 2 reasons. 1) my dog was welcome. 2) it was opposite the Marina & pedestrian walk, close to the main dome/church square, Beautiful view & location. The Spa facility was a bonus even though expected in 5-star hotel BUT was not open over the Christmas days!!! We were not advised of this.
The hotel over the Christmas period had no atmosphere. Most of the time when you entered into the hotel there was silence, instead of Christmas songs for eg. The sitting room had the curtains drawn & the lights were off except for the small nativity set. This, therefore, did not encourage one to sit in the lounge area during the day.
Staff seemed minimal & they were not accustomed to greeting guests & wish them a Merry Christmas!
No effort was made on Christmas morning breakfast to welcome us into the dining area, instead we were made to understand that as they needed to prepare the tables for Christmas lunch it was best if we sat outside on the balcony & let them get on with their table laying!!! (luckily the weather was superb)- there was no mise en place for us outside on the balcony nor inside, even though we arrived in the dining area at 10.10am & breakfast "stopped" at 10.30. There was nothing special offered, nor small Christmas day small gesture on the tables for guests. It was just sadly ordinary.
We asked for 2 boiled eggs- 10 mins timed. When they arrived, the first egg was raw- the second perfect. The waiter then arrived with another egg- but we were done with the breakfast! There was no apology offered.
Whilst the junior suite was comfortable, we had to call reception to switch off the heating as the room was set 25 degrees & we were unable to sleep. The thermostat in our room was blocked off!
Whilst we requested twin beds, the room had a double bed, upon request - the sofa was made into a second bed.
The suite had a small but nice bathroom. The tub had a jacuzzi. Unfortunately, once in the bathtub & the jacuzzi switched on, all this brown gunge spewed out into the bath water from the jacuzzi nozzles- obviously, they had not been sanitized/disinfected nor cleaned properly & so the slime was evident in the water. Gross for a 5 star!

Great location, amazing breakfast and good views.
It’s a bit old fashion style, but that goes with the type of hotel. Everything was perfect
8.0
location and fabulous terrace for dinner and breakfast - car park opposite was also very convenient
not very welcoming at reception or on initial exploration of restaurant by staff. no slopes for luggage from car park/pavement to reception which is up steps.
