Stunning cottage in a perfect location

The cottage was amazing! So beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed. Very comfortable beds.

We didn't dislike anything. We'd absolutely return again.

Exceptional

The cottage is beautiful really cosy and decorated amazing too I cannot fault it had everything you needed so so clean just perfect ,the location is perfect right by the town ,beach amenities there is a sainsburys a stone throw away you don't need to move your car if you don't want too as everything is within walking distance 😀 I loved my stay here with my husband and children and our little dog .wish we could of stayed longer .

A great location for Newquay and also to see other beautiful locations across Cornwall.

The place was very, very comfortable and great to relax in on a rainy day. The location was perfect to nearby pubs/restaurants, Sainsbury over the road, and surf and swim beaches.

Not being used to parking bumper to bumper, reversing in the street to park the car and avoid hitting other cars was stressful. Also ensuring the door exit for the elderly local was free meant very little space to park! Once you got used to it, it was fine though.

Superb

Beautiful clean cosy cottage with a homely feel within the centre of town and very close beach and with parking. Also has the added bonus of small back patio and seating at the front.

This is not a dislike but the bedroom doors were easy for the dog to push open which was a bit of a nuisance trying to keep him out of the bedrooms. This would not put me off staying or highly recommending to family and friends

Superb

Location is perfect to get to Towan beach for a surf and the centre for restaurants and cafes.

A few kitchen amenities that were missing/couldn't get to to work.

Exceptional

Amazing cottage beautifully done out, bathroom and shower were amazing, quiet street but so near to everything. Can’t wait to come back!

Parking was a little tight on the street but we sorted that!

A gorgeous cottage close to town and beautiful beaches. Cool vibes and a great bath!

This is a gorgeous cottage with a really cool vibe. It was located in a pebbled, dead end street with parking so was super quiet. The location was very convenient, close to shops and numerous gorgeous beaches. We discovered a fabulous little Italian restaurant called Little Italy a few streets away which was such a delicious surprise - go there, the focaccia was just sensational and the staff so friendly and welcoming!

A later check out on Sunday would have been nice but otherwise this cottage was absolutely perfect. Loved the decor. I would definitely recommend it and come back again. Thank you!

Overall a really nice stay, definitely a highlight of the weekend as well as the surf.

Stunning interior! Location was perfect - close to beach, shops and restaurants. Had a great space for surfing gear. Kitchen was good and had all the equipment we needed.

The cottage was beautifully presented in a fantastic location and included a parking spot. We were right next to the local Sainsburys, there was a lovely cafe a few doors away and the local beaches were only a few minutes walk.

Nothing really. Perhaps a small TV In the main bedroom would be good.

Perfect cottage in a great location.

Lovely comfortable cottage, in a great location. clean and spacious with a lovely outdoor area. A short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants.

Superb

The cottage is really well designed with lot's of attention to the details, such as live plants and decorations. It has all facilities (though Microwave oven might be really useful) for a great time off. The location of the cottage is also superb allowing access to local beaches, shops and restaurants of Newquay (in fact, we have spent almost all the time in the town and nearby beaches).

The only thing I can mention is the parking: it is actually shared with neighbours and can be sometimes either occupied, as there are twice more houses than parking places, or hard to tie in (I would definitely advice not to use it for new drivers, for example). However, the neighbours are friendly and there are public car parks that are either free overnight or you can pay for the whole 24 hours (around 9£, but beware that you cannot park there for more than 24 hours!).

Lovely cosy, clean and comfortable cottage in perfect location for town and beach.

Very Quirky. Amazing decoration and equipment . All of a very high standard. Excellent heating.

Two armchairs and a small sofa would be more comfortable. Television difficult to operate.

A real treasure of property

The feel of the property the coziness was great. I adored the decor and the attention to detail. The location very close to the sea and all that you need. Fast WiFi and all appliances easy to use. Host was easy to communicate with and helpful. Also loved that there was ample amounts of bath towels to use and that they were of decent size.

Would of loved a high chair and the option of a stair gate. Not a complaint but just would of made our lives easier.

Love the cottage

Lovely beautiful cottage and bohemian decor, very comfortable. Very quiet as it is in a cul de sac. Really loved staying there for a long week-end. Very close to the harbour, beaches and only 15 min walk from Fistral Beach.

very difficult to locate the street ( cul de sac ). It would be beneficial to give more information on directions.The cottage is near the Sainsbury supermarket and this would be a very good information to give to locate the street. No microwave.

Amazing, we will be recommending and returning!

Amazing property, it’s even better than in the pictures. Everything we needed. The location could not have been better.

Could have done with a microwave and a freezer (even a freezer shelf in the fridge) but that’s being really picky.

Lovely cottage, very comfortable, great location

Location was great - 2 mins walk to the sea front and all the facilities, loads of pubs, cafes etc nearby. Easy and pleasant walk to Fistral Beach and easy to walk to lots of different locations.

Location excellent, very clean and comfortable. Residents on road very pleasant and friendly and sympathetic to the parking problems

Parking issues. Not enough spaces for everyone. Additional charge for dog only requested day before going to cottage. TV aerial broken, only TV through Internet which buffered constantly.

An ideal place to stay

The location is great, a quiet cul de sac with parking available but space limited. Good supermarket two minutes walk away with pubs, restaurants and shops three minutes walk away where there is a great sea view and access to the beach. The cottage is lovely and is really a comfortable and engaging place to stay. The cottage is full of interesting art, found things and all the essentials you could need. The beds are big and comfortable, we slept very well. WiFi was really good. The host was helpful and readily accessible by email. We had a great stay and loved the character of the cottage

The only minor downside was a ground floor bathroom. It is an old cottage and no real option to change this.

Already trying to book for next year! Can't go much wrong if you book Bambu cottage!

Everything! Open plan, spacious & modern. Decor was lovely & there was everything we needed. Amazing location - 100m from Towan beach, right in the heart of Newquay but tucked away - a hidden gem! Parking outside the cottage, it is shared with the neighbours but all the neighbours were lovely & happy to move vehicles if needed, we have a large family car & experienced no issues trying to park. The host answers emails immediately if you have any problems & seems like a lovely, genuine lady. This cottage is a credit to her, it has been an absolute pleasure to stay at BamBu Cottage.

There was nothing that we didn't like about this property. It was absolutely lovely.
