a really great location with new and clean facilities. bedrooms were spacious and the beds were really comfortable.
It had no impact on our stay but a vacuum cleaner would have been nice as we were travelling with small children.

Everthing was good about it.

Great location with a lounge/kitchen area for all the friends to congregate and chat . So close to town and the university so easy to walk around. The host were easy to deal with and answered promptly
Noise does echo and unfortunately there were visitors sitting on their balcony in a different building talking tell 3am in the morning on Saturday after a few drinks. The second bathroom is only available for the main bedroom (which has a single bed inside also) ... which meant a queue for the bathroom .

close to town, beautiful sized bedrooms, good kitchen facilities, beautifully restored
the shared terrace on the lower ground and lack of fan in toilet.

Perfect location for a large family to spend time together. Very nice renovation.
Would be great to have a few more dining chairs, to match the number of beds in the house.

The location is excellent and close to restaurants and the central township. Easy walking distance to the University, supermarkets etc. Liquor store around the corner, everything very handy.
Decoration was lovely, immaculate and tasteful. Great linen on the beds.
Was really handy to have a laundry for our stay as we were dropping kids to Uni after a rowing trip in Twizel.
Provider let us check in a little earlier as we couldn't store our luggage anywhere before check in, thank you for that.
Ample kitchen storage and nice spacious rooms.
No parking on site was a bit of hassle, especially at night time or the end of the day trying to find a park. One of our guests had a car for some of the stay.
If you don't have a car for storage and get into the city early, checkin is at 2pm and there is nowhere to store your bags.
The provider let us check in a little earlier so that we could drop off our things around midday but storing the luggage will be something I will need to consider if I stayed here again and didn't hire a car.
Also as we only stayed for two nights I don't know that the cleaning costs and other fees were reasonable for such a short stay, it would have been more reasonable to stay 3-4 nights, as the charges are high for a short stay.
The second bathroom for downstairs was through a bedroom so sharing was not an option for the downstairs rooms - guests had to go upstairs to use the bathroom and toilet which was a shame, perhaps an understair toilet for downstairs if considering any future alterations.
Strong cooking smells from local restaurants meant you could not keep the windows open at night and it was very hot when we stayed.

Beautiful and spotless practically in the centre of town
Parking is a challenge. And of course being in a student town close to the clubs you can expect to hear some late night parties.

great location though street side a bit noisy at night. very spacious warm and comfortable and lovely morning sun!
A bit annoying not having a carpark but parking was easy to find esp once we started using the Wilson carpark - cheap and flexible.
