Great location. Amazing hospitality.
So close to the harbour and all the boats to the beach.
The owner was so helpful and makes you feel welcome.
Will 100% recommend!
Room was so clean and free bottles of water every day was so kind.
Hydra is a special place.
4.5
The room was clean and the responsiveness of the staff was exceptional. The location was convenient and close to many things.
The locks on the doors were hard to use and loud in the hallway since the room is on the lowers floor. We could definitely hear when others guests came and went.
5.0
Cleanliness, staff, courtyard area, breakfasts. The "Lady of the house" was absolutely excellent, always helpful and spoke great English.

Maybe a few more of the lovely cherry sweets in the reception

Delightful hosts. Alkionides was well located in central Hydra and near to great restaurants, shopping and the port. The sounds of donkeys braying is a great alternative to noisy tooting traffic.

this is a beautiful property within 5 mins walking distance of the harbour to the hotel. it has a gorgeous exterior to enjoy your tea in the morning too.
We didn’t have internet connection the entire time we were there unfortunately. Also the rooms lacks privacy as the window faces the garden to another property where it always had occupants who could see inside
4.5
A very comfortable and well appointed room with an amazing private terrace that was almost as large as the room! The property is a short walk from the Ferry port and steps to great shops, restaurants and bars.

the room was a bit small

Our room was delightful -- as was the courtyard of the hotel. Moreover, the location is ideal -- just far enough away from the busy harbor area to be peaceful but close enough to be easy to reach, even with some luggage.
Our studio suited us very well. It is attractively designed and very well maintained. It felt comfortable and had all the usual equipment, including a refrigerator for our fruit and white wine, an electric water kettle for coffee and tea, and all the necessary utensils and crockery. The awning in front of our room kept the rain off the outdoor chairs and table. The bathroom was very satisfactory. The daily servicing of our room was particularly complete and discreet. It was easy to check in and to check out. The WiFi/Internet was very satisfactory.
Hydra is definitely not a verdant island and we especially welcomed the green look and feel of the courtyard with fruit trees, potted plants and flowering shrubs.
A very nice place to stay. We happily recommend it to visitors. Still, we would stop short of describing it as "exceptional".
3.5
Good breakfast Comfortable rooms , close to all location attractions, attractive property
staff comunication regarding door security spoilt the overall satification level. No external key to property entrance was provided

Professional deformation : decor could be more cozy.

Great place, very clean. Stella is a very caring host. The place is a short walk from the port.

Very centrally located near Port.
We stayed in a 'semi-basement' room which was dark and had only very small windows which made it feel a bit grim.

This place is in the best location if you want to hang out in Hydra for a few days. Very clean and a nice little room. The bathroom and shower are small, but that is typical for Europe.
I will say though that it’s not particularly “covid friendly.” None of the staff wear masks and they go into your room and move things around.

location is great, easy walk to the ferry
there is only hand holding shower faucet in a small shower area. it’s impossible to wash hair

Great location. Nice room. Clean. Nice owner.
Shower water pressure was a bit comical :)

Location. There was a clothesline outside the window. The shared porch was lovely for relaxing at the end of the day.
Nothing, not really. The room was good for one person. To me it would have been cramped for two.

Small shower
Lack of easy chair in room..Are outdoor chairs on patio.
Great location. Beautiful building.
