Beautiful Apartment

Everything The rooms were big with aircon. Bathroom great Had a washing machine & the balcony had a clothes line with plenty of pegs that your clothes dried very quickly. It’s close to the bus terminal. We did have to walk up the hill with our suitcases but on departing going to the port it was down hill & only took us around 15 minutes We only stayed one night & would loved to have stayed longer Just past the Babis supermarket on the right hand side of the street there was a great Greek taverna which had the best food

Great Place for the Port in Heraklion

Everything in the apartment was excellent. Large open space to gather together as a family. The two bedrooms were of good size, the beds were very comfy, with one bedroom overlooking the Port. Very well maintained. We were only stopping for the night to catch the early fast Seajets to Santorini, but you could easily stop for a long weekend.

Neighbours. You are asked to respect the neighbours but next door was partying until the early hours. As your close to the Port and on the Flight Path you do hear at times the planes and boats.

Modern apartment 12 min walk from old town centre

New and modern apartment - near a bus stop. Easy to communicate with the hosts.

The bathroom ventilation was quite bad so the bath mat on the floor was constantly wet and so it made the bathroom smell of wet towel over a couple of days. Also, it is about a 12 min walk to the main town on a main road.

Very modern two-bedroom apartment. Close to the ferry port, which was very convenient. Very clean and well-kept. Free parking. The check-in instructions were easy to follow.

Great spot close to the port and airport. Very nice apartment with all that was needed-not many amenities outside the apartment itself but we did not expect any. Exactly what we needed after arriving on late afternoon ferry-walked about a half hour to pick up our rental car from the airport the next morning.

It was a perfect location, very central to the port, so we were able to walk to our boat, he space was huge, and a lovely balcony to sit on to relax. Loved our stay !!

nice apartment but have problematic heater

the house is clean and big and at central location. biggest advantage is it has washing machine and dryer

the water heater at the bathroom doesn’t work. the power trip once we on heater to preheat it for 15 mins (instruction given need to pre heat for 25 mins). we have to keep on and off it but after 3-4 times trying, the power just trip after a minute. the last 2 persons at the end showered with cold water at this season is really not a good experience.

Very modern and spacious apartment, clean and comfortable, great value for money. Uncomplicated check-in, the owner gave us a very detailed description of how to find the keys etc. Location is excellent for those arriving or leaving by ferry, it is 10 minutes walking distance from the port.

Modern well equipped apartment.

The apartment was spacious, immaculate, and modern. The location was good and within walking distance of the town centre and the port. Simos responded promptly and gave great instructions on how to reach the apartment. Would highly recommend it.

Very nice modern and comfortable appartment. Very well equipped kitchen. Nice comfortable beds. Nice balconies (2). Excellent for a longer term stay, though in town in a quiet but not particularly noteworthy neighborhood 10 minute walk from old core.

BEST APARTMENT IN HERAKLION!!!

This place is AMAZING with the perfect location for your stay in Heraklion and great host with good communication. Not to far from the airport, close to the Ferry port, which you can see from the one bedroom balcony, GREAT sunset view. Super stylish and spacious apartment with everything you need. There's also a very cute family run Taverna close by that serves great food at a good price. Main road with bus stops into town or airport nearby as well as EuroCreta car rental, no credit card deposits required and much better prices, compared to Europcar and all the rest.

This next comment has nothing to do with the apartment but feel people deserve to know. If this apartment is on Airbnb, I'd much rather book it there than with Bookings.com I personally won't be using Bookings every again. Bookings and Europecar took my money for a car rental and when we arrived at Europcar they wouldn't accept any of our bank cards for a deposit and demanded a credit card only. They refuse to refund us and we had to book another car with EuroCrete Car rentals which actually worked out so much cheaper and didn't require a credit card for a deposit. I even insisted on paying more to Europcar so we don't have to pay a deposit but they refused to help us. Still no refund from Bookings or Europcar. So if you want a cheaper rental, call EuroCreta and they will pick you up and drop you off at the airport. Much better service and respect towards their customers.

Perfect for what we needed. 15 minute walk into the main part of town.

Excellent, well appointed apartment with comfortable beds, lovely shower and two terraces. We were only there for one night and so did not try out the cooker/washing machine but it provided what we needed for our stay. Parking was outside the property and the directions and photos made it easy to find.

Apartment was nice and fully furnished. Owner sent clear instructions, we had no problem getting to the place. We had an early ferry at the port so is very convenient to walk to if travelling light.

There’s an uphill walk when heading back. With no pavement by the road, we had to deal with vehicles passing close by.

really gorgeous place. amazing shower. so clean and bright. beautiful view of the port. host is very kind and helpful. locked ourselves out and he helped us right away. we owe him a big thanks. just wish we could have stayed longer!

Nice looking and spacious apartment

lot of space, equipment, really good looking apartment, nice bathroom, parking space just before the building

noise of airplanes (but there is silence in the night), quite bad looking location (you have to go though not too good looking suburbs heading city center), but it’s only 20min walk to the center and about 10min through suburbs

The layout of the apartment was good and felt comfortable. The location was ideal since it was away from the bustle of town but an easy walk in. There is plenty of parking outside the property so you do not have to worry about reservation or public parking. There is a well stocked supermarket and bakery just down the road. The master bedroom overlooks the small garden which has outside seating space. The apartment is modern in style and the furniture and pictures compliment the decor. The TV channel selection with Netflix included is great and the internet is fast. Great to have a washing machine, iron and ironing board, a real bonus. A TV in each bedroom is also a special touch. The black out curtains are perfect if you want to sleep in whilst on holiday.

On the first night I moved to the second bedroom since my husband snores and I cannot recommend this room if you want a quiet nights sleep. I believe the water pipes run behind the wall and you can hear everything from the apartment next door and any water flushing in the whole apartment block. if you were more than a couple and wanted to use this bedroom I don’t think you would sleep well. The room itself is lovely with lovely views of the port. The kitchen is slightly lacking if you were 4 people sharing the apartment since there are only 3 bowls, a few cups and one espresso cup. This is easily remedied. There was no plug for the sink that makes washing up difficult and no tea towel. Again, all easy fixes.

Beatiful and spacious apartment, highly recommended for a short or longer stay in Heraklion

Aboslutely brilliant apartment, large and comfortable rooms with super comfy beds and pillows and TV and Netflix in each room. Very clean, aesthetically superb, great views from the rooms, fully equipped. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

That we only stayed on night! I would love to spend more time in the apartment!!!
