Location is fantastic. Hotel is right beside Takayama JR station. There is also a washing machine inside the room that comes in useful for longer trips. Washing machine looks quite new and clean, and we used it more than once during our stay.
Hotel does not provide daily complimentary cleaning of rooms. They only provide basic cleaning that involves emptying of trash bins and changing of towels, nothing else. Guests have to request and pay separately for "full cleaning" if they wish to have bed sheets changed, room vacuumed etc at around ¥1000 per day.

The buffet breakfast offered a curated variety of American, Chinese and Japanese food choices. We really loved the homey interior design of the hotel. Love the use of wood, textile, leather, washi and other Takayama crafts / local products throughout the hotel. Beds were comfortable; room size is bigger than regular Japanese sized rooms. Hotel provided Yukata and slippers to wear within the premises. We only tried the mixed gender foot bath; but it was a relaxing experience after a full day of walking. The hotel does provide both public and private (for an additional fee) onsen facilities. Location: the very short walk to/ from Takayama station and bus terminals is an added bonus.

The location is very convenient to catch the interstate train and buses
The spa facility is too small for the guests as it is very crowded most of the time

地點好,離J R車站及巴士站只有2分鐘步程。
4樓的房間的走廊裝置令我很不安!

so closed on train station, good breakfast, nice semi-buffet dinner, I loved very well.
very nice private hot spring, good privately.
nice parking place.
If private hot spring area can provide the water after hot spring, its will be very good.

While the location is good n near to the station, the beds are not comfortable. The room is rather small for 2 pax and having the need to pay Yen 150 each for the public bath though it’s not much it should be included in the price given the rate is not cheap. The staff attending to us also not too helpful when asked for information.

New clean the best location

Most comfortable and quiet. Charming staff. Central location, washer/dryer in room most useful. The 2nd floor onsen is excellent. All most positive.

This hotel celebrates the Hida traditions by embedding the skills of local craftspeople into the design of its decor. The results are stunning. Wood, leather, thread, lacquer, clay, paper. These handicrafts were beautifully interwoven in my room and further celebrated in gallery spaces throughout the hotel. In addition, the hotel offers an incredible skyline view of Takayama and relaxing foot bath from the terrace. The staff are very welcoming as are the people of Takayama. The hotel is just two minutes from the station and a short walk to the gorgeous old town. I stayed five days and loved everyone of them.

just next to the train station & bus terminal. convenient as a base to travel to Kamikochi, Shirakawa-go, Kanazawa, etc. washing machine is available in the room. Onsen is included, food was nice, staff are warm… good.

The location is great, right next to the train station and tourist info centre. The staff were polite and very helpful. Takayama is a great city to explore on foot, soaking up the culture of a bygone era. Great footbath in the hotel after a day of walking!
Nothing.

Yui, the manager. She went to great lengths to solve a complicated issue I created. She truly made lemonade out of a lemon situation
The hotel has artfully incorporated local craft displays on every floor.
Beautiful!

Very Good location as it is near the train station and Nohi Bus Center

Stone’s throw from Takayama Jr station. it was snowing heavily on my arrival day and there is a sheltered walkway leading to the hotel except for the last 10 meters.
Well connected to the bus terminal and old town. we walked to the morning market and Jinya with ease.
Rooms and the hotel itself is tastefully decorated with local crafts. Love the scent of wood in the wjole property. Onsen in the hotel is a dream, beautiful and comfortable.
Breakfast spread was good too, delicious choices and coffee was good. The breakfast area is beautiful too.
A thing to mention is the free to use washer/dryer in the room which we used every night.
Complementary umbrellas for guests to use too…
we stayed for 4nights and Would absolutely recommend this place. Hopefully to visit soon.
nothing…
