This tidy practical property is one I have stayed at before and hope to stay there again in the future.

Cute, tiny cottage, perfectly located for shops and beach. It's basic but perfect for a single or couple who don't expect anything fancy. Also dog friendly which is a must for me.

Brilliant location just off high street close to pubs, restaurants and other amenities
Comfortable bed but steep stairs to access 1 st floor
Living area very small and sofa not the most comfortable
Perfect for a short stay when using cottage as a base

Sheringham is a great base for fantastic birding along the coast. 2 Museum Cottages is a lovely quiet place to stay, although in the town centre.
This time of year the cottage is a bit dark, but would be more cheery in the summer. Although small, the cottage has everything you need for a great stay.

This was our third time staying at 2 Museum cottages. It provides a great base for Sara and I. A week in Sheringham is always a good tonic at any time of the year!
The property is ideal for 2 people who don't need a lot of space.
The only disappointment this time was that none of the windows would open to let fresh air in and damp to evaporate, pretty sure on previous says they have opened.

We returned again this year - location is great and the cottage is well maintained. You have everything you need with this cottage and all the local amenities are on your door step. We would definitely recommend this cottage and Keys!!

Very well located, close to shops and the beach. The place is small but perfect for me and my dog. The bed was SO comfy, and the kitchen well kitted out. The only downside is that it's quite dark and gloomy downstairs, it could be made cosy with a few minor touches.
It's a cute cottage and very peaceful, in a traffic free, quiet lane. I liked it a lot.

A small cottage in a quiet location yet very close to shops, both railway stations, bus stops and Key's office to collect the keys. Perfect for my holiday using public transport.

Compact, clean and well equipped
There was everything in the cottage we needed and it was spotless. There was a faint musty smell, but wouldn’t put me off returning. The shower tray didn’t drain too well, but again not a real problem.

2 Museum Cottage .
This was my 4th time at the Cottage with my dog Libby. The location is excellent . Lots of long walks and within easy reach of Cromer and other resorts and towns. Hope to be back later in the year.

Lovely little cottage
This little cottage is ideal as a base for exploring the area. Warm on the coldest of days. Most things you would need is available in this cottage. On the down side the sofa & bed a bit hard.

New Year 2022
Excellent location, in town centre but very quiet. Very well equipped, warm with comfy bed.
Some people may find the steep stairs a problem.
Good lighting . We would use it again when we return to Sheringham.

Great base for a bit of Rest and Recuperation on the Norfolk Coast
Sheringham is one of our favorite places on the Norfolk coast for a break. It makes for a wonderful base, 2 Museum Cottages whilst 'bijou' is 'quaint' and very 'homely'. If like us you love walking and and not spending all day in the cottage it is perfect. We have stayed her twice and no doubt we will be back.

A lovely bolt hole
Lovely cottage with quirky features. Good central location with nice neighbours.
Unfortunately the bedroom and bathroom had black mould that needed some care and attention as it was smelly all the time, especially on the outside wall in the bedroom as it was creeping up the walls and is extensive. Needs some attention before it becomes too much of a problem.

Fantastic Location
Apart from it slightly lacking in daylight it's a fabulous place to stay. Well equipped, very clean, fabulous location, parking easy enough to find and loads to explore in the area if it's too rainy for the beach.

Great cottage stay again!
We would highly recommend Keys for booking your holiday let and in particular 2 Museum Cottages; this was our second stay here and once again it did not disappoint. Ideal location with being convenient to the shops, sea front and parking but whilst retaining its charm and peaceful location. The cottage itself is compact but has everything you need and is very clean/well looked after. See you next year!!

A stay in Sheringham
Nice property in the centre of Sheringham. We didn't have keys to open the windows.

Great holiday destination
Enjoyed second holiday at this property , excellent vicinity right in middle of Sheringam everything within 5 minute walk. Only downside is parking but not a problem to find a space not too far away

Cosy cottage in a great location
Museum cottages are in a great location tucked away in the centre of Sheringham. This cottage was very small (ideal for 2 people) and it was warm with the heaters working very well. It had however signs of damp and smelt as such when you walked in. And it was a bit let down by cheap fixtures like the shower rail and slightly shabby decor. It was reasonable value for money though and we enjoyed our 5 days there.

Great location, ideal for a short stay
We stayed at Museum Cottages for a few nights in the winter and found it well located, warm and with all the essentials provided.
It is a small cottage with low ceilings and very steep stairs so may not be suitable for all, but for a couple staying for a short visit it was a good option.
