Charming 3 bedroom, 2 bath home that sleeps 8 and has a gorgeous 180-degree views of the ocean. Located 8-miles from the trendy tourist town of Mendocino, this home is in the private gated community of Pacific Reefs, half a mile from Albion Grocery. Wrap-around decking to sit outside and enjoy the sea air and serenity of the California Coast in a very quiet and private cul de sac. Pacific Reefs is central to 5-star dining, shopping, beach, hiking, and ocean activities all within a few miles drive. Minimum 3-night stay. Sleeping space for 8 people maximum - perfect for two families to share a vacation together!

My family stayed at this property for 4 nights. When we arrived there were ants everywhere. I contacted the host to see if there were traps, she apologized and said she'd get back to me. We bought our own ant traps in Mendocino the next day. What bothers me more than the ants is that she didn't check back in with us.

We really enjoyed this property. It was just right for our needs. Within 30 minutes of all the places we wanted to see. Great view. Quiet location. Deer, birds, and a gray fox visited several times a day. Thank you for hosting us.

We enjoyed the quiet. We enjoyed seeing occasional animals: deer, swallows, skunks, fox. We enjoyed hiking in the nearby state parks and enjoyed visiting shops in Mendocino. The weather was perfect.

The Albion is peaceful and quiet with close proximity to Mendocino and all of the area's natural beauty. The property has three bedrooms with comfortable beds, and a well-equipped kitchen. We had a relaxing stay.

My family of 5 arrived late in the evening and there was zero reception or any places open. Once we got to the gate it seemed to be off. It was not it was user error. Once in we were welcomed by a skunk who was the most adorable thing and our kids were very excited to see one! The house is older but very cozy and comfortable feeling. Everything worked great! The wood burning fireplace was amazing and the long bench seat in front of the window made for the best views! It poured all day Saturday but we enjoyed the beautiful coast line views, the hot tub and relaxing by the fireplace reading and playing games. The next day we were able to get out to Russian state park and hike fern canyon to the waterfall! I can’t explain how beautiful that hike and park is! It’s a must see! We had lunch in Mendocino and came back to soothe our muscles in the hot tub before it opened up and poured on us again. The large living room was amazing for our kids to play in and the outside property was perfect for games of tag and watching the deer walk by and climbing trees. We cannot wait to come back! It was seriously gorgeous and the best trip!! The host is so easy to get ahold of as well and returns emails asap!

This rental was perfect for our family of 5 adults for exploring the Fort Bragg - Mendocino areas. The kitchen isn’t huge but is well equipped. Everything was clean and in good working order. The beds were all comfy with nice linens. The hot tub with great star gazing was a nice treat after a long day of hiking. The sunsets are of course stunning. Best nearby activities were Mendocino Botanic Gardens, hikes in Jug Handle and Russian Gulch, wine tasting in Philo along 128.

What a wonderful stay. The pictures don't do it justice. My kids loved the live action Bambie movie outside. We watched several deer, two foxes, and a little skunk all frolicking together outside. But not too close lol. The views of the Pacific were amazing and the location near Mendocino and Ft Bragg was perfect.

3 of us stayed at the Kramer getaway to celebrate a birthday. 8 other fellow travelers stayed at the Albion River Inn. We enjoyed the hot tub every morning, cozy fires and easy meals between hikes around the neighborhood and to Big river, Little river, wine tasting in Philo and Boonville, lunch at Mendocino. It was all spectacular but the most cherished times were hanging out in the spacious Kramer living room with the most amazing view of trees, rocks and ocean. At night, we had lil dance parties with the windows acting as mirrors so we could enjoy our moves. Stacey is a great communicator and we deeply appreciated our chat to hear the special history of the house. We will be back as often as we can! There is not another place like it in the Mendocino coast.

Our stay was amazing. The house was exquisite -just as described, very cozy, spotless and complete. We couldn’t be happier about location, which is convenient to everything but also secluded enough to guarantee a peaceful stay. I need to mention that the view is stunning - I loved sitting by the window with my cup of coffee on the morning and enjoy the ocean view. Stacey is the best host I’ve had. She was very responsive, detailed. We left our staff at the house and Stacy send it back to us. I can’t say enough how much we appreciate Stacey! We give this house 5 stars. Can’t go wrong with this place!

Everything was as promised. We had a marvelous visit. The entire group wants to return next year. Great communication with the host: Prompt, pleasant, and candid. There are a few minor housekeeping issues, which I will contact the host about separately. This was our first VRBO experience and it exceeded our expectations. All the best, Shannon

There were four of us; two couples staying for a long weekend in the Mendocino area. The home was a great size for us and a nice location as well. Prob a 10 minute drive to town, which was great, as it rained the whole time, so it gave us a good reason to be holed up in the house. We keep the wood stove stoked and enjoyed wine, food and games during our stay. I kept in touch with our host, which was very accommodating to our stay. We would gladly stay again.

We had a very pleasant stay at this house. It had everything we needed. I wish we had been able to enjoy it one extra day but due to flight delay we missed out but do appreciate the communication ad understanding of the property manager. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay here!

This is such a wonderful house and property! Very serene setting with ocean views. You can even hear the waves at night with the windows open from two of the bedrooms. The house was a great set-up for a family or larger group. It had everything you needed overall, including washer/dryer, propane grill and stocked kitchen. It is very close to beautiful scenery, coas cliff views and beautiful beaches. The owner was great to communicate with and the qhole process, including check-in was super easy. We would definitely recommend and have already. The only suggestions would be more towels, especially with larger group. And maybe some beach chairs or a few more camping chairs.

We loved every minute of our stay - thank you so much for sharing your vacation home! It was just like the photos. We saw a family of deer every night around dinner. The hot tub was a huge added bonus! The house was comfortable, quiet, and serene with stunning views. Great location close to Mendocino and hiking. The kitchen is small with an electric range, but I had no issues cooking all our meals. I actually loved that the placed is carpeted - could drop and do yoga anywhere / anytime, and play with my toddler on the floor. The whole place and property were toddler friendly. On a clear night, we saw more stars than ever before! We would love to come back, didn't want to leave. Highly recommend :)
