About this house rental
Our 3,300 sq. ft. vacation home is located on the west side of beautiful Santa Fe, with easy access to freeways. A very convenient location makes it a short drive to the historic downtown Plaza area, famous Canyon Rd, the Santa Fe Opera, shopping, movie theaters, rock climbing, mountain biking and fantastic hiking in the beautiful Sangre de Cristo mountains. The house is situated on 5 acres of beautiful high desert landscape including lots of pinon and juniper trees. The home was custom built in 1980 by my family and recently renovated.
The home features four large bedrooms with one having a nursery area (crib, swing & baby toys) and a large basement. A fully stocked kitchen with double oven, dishwasher, microwave, crockpot, adjacent to a dining area with a large table (seating up to nine plus high chair) and large picture window facing the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, makes it perfect for enjoying meals with family and friends. Between four large bedrooms and a finished basement that serves as a fifth sleeping area, the house will accommodate between 8-15 people on 2 king size beds, 2 queen size beds, 2 sets of twin bunk beds, full size roll away bed, and crib.
Have your own tournament of ping pong on the full size table in the basement or on our new foosball table in the living room. The first and second floors boast 3 balconies that provide a beautiful view of the mountains on one side and breathtaking sunsets on the other. After a long day of shopping or hiking, enjoy conversation lounging on the large patio just outside the living room. Warm yourself around the fire pit or gaze up at the stars while sitting in your own private hot tub. The outdoor living space includes a large sectional and seating area that sits up to 14 people and surrounds a brand new propane fire pit. Enjoy grilling? We just installed a brand new gas grill and hooked it up the natural gas so all you have to do is turn it on! Two outdoor tables with umbrellas are perfect for your outdoor BBQ
Want to keep up with the news, or catch the game? No problem, we have TV’s in every bedroom with DirectTV. The family room has a larger 60" TV with DVD player. And of course, free unlimited WiFi internet access. Full size washer and dryer if you need them. This is the perfect home for a family or larger groups.
Tell us what you need and we will do our best to accommodate you! We are very knowledgeable about Santa Fe and local attractions!

The house was perfect for my bachelorette trip! Close to town and wonderful property. Would definitely stay there again!

Stayed here with 7 adults and 2 under 3 with plenty of room but still cozy. Appreciated the thought put in for young children( crib, stroller, toys) and the hot tub was great. We have rented VRBO all over US and Europe, this was right up there with the best. No complaints.

Beautiful spacious home. Beds were comfy, fireplace was great. The bathrooms on the main floor weren’t great for hot showers but the upstairs was perfect. We had other people over one night there were 14 of us and it wasn’t crowded at all. It was just for pizza and games. Plenty of parking space as well.

Warm inviting family home that will handle your family. Plenty of space and games to accommodate everyone’s needs!

Pros: The property was beautiful and the house was as described on the rental site.
The game room in the basement is definitely a bonus with a ping pong table, basketball, and video games.
The outdoor seating space is very cozy and the hot tub is a great feature.
The large kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans & dishware.
The owner was very responsive and we very much appreciated the late checkout!
Cons: The dishwasher door doesn't fully open because of the refrigerator, which is a bit of a pain for loading and unloading.
The couch in the living room is large but uncomfortable.
Overall a great stay if you are going to Santa Fe with a large group.

There were plenty of sleeping options, a well stocked kitchen and games, games, games. Just 10-15 minutes from the Plaza. We all had an excellent family time. The hosts made sure everything was prepared and were excellent communicators.

Exactly as listed. It was perfect for our extended family gathering. Common areas were great for the kids and adults alike. Views and natural setting were relaxing. Close access to town provided for dining and entertainment. Hosts were responsive and house was fully stocked!

I booked this for when i was attending a conference. My kids drove from Tucson to meet us for the week. It was the perfect location. Minutes to stores and about 10-15 to the square. But just the perfect peaceful location. The views were outstanding. The gaming tables kept the kids entertained and we all enjoyed the hot tub and firepit. Plenty of space for togetherness and privacy both.we coukdnt have been more pleased. We will definitely be back.

Highly recommend this house in Santa Fe. A perfect base for our first time in New Mexico! Our seven-member family each enjoyed our stay. Jason is the perfect host who promptly answered any questions we had, and even sent recommendations for us of things to add to our adventure list.

We stayed here for a family reunion and it was perfect. We had an age range spanning 6-75, but there was something for everyone. This is one of the best equipped homes I’ve stayed in with VRBO-it had so many thoughtful touches that made it the perfect home base for our trip. Need a baby bed or swing? It’s there. Need to entertain teenagers (or kids at heart)? No problem. Thank you Jason for sharing your wonderful home with our family!

Despite the higher than normal temps in July, the house stayed cool during the day, and the evaporative cooler worked well for the nights. Jason was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. Good location and lovely views.

We stayed at this property with 8 high school students and 4 kids for a week in late April 2023. We all read the book "Death Comes For The Archbishop" as the basis for our trip & visited Santa Fe & the surrounding area. The house was just right for our group. It had plenty of room for everyone to sleep but also to give our educational presentations each night as part of the trip. The kitchen and dining area were good for our meals. It was easy to get into and get out of. The house was a little on the outskirts of downtown Santa Fe but that suited us just fine. The only negative was a bad odor that was coming from one of the toliets. We notified the owner / manager and he was very responsive and sent someone out to check out the plumbing. However, even though the odor improved after the plumber came, it was not completely resolved before we left which made using that particular bathroom unpleasant. Despite this hiccup, overall it was a great place for a large group.

The property was clean, a bit dated but met our needs. Be aware the stairs to the basement are a metal spiral so kinda dangerous. There is a gate at the top but older people or kids shops be careful. The dishwasher cannot fully open, making it a big challenge to do dishes. My brother in law likes bidets but said the bidet is broken, it is connected to water but is set up with just the spigot at the top just like a firehose so in case that helps anyone to know. Also the video game in the basement didn’t work. The other basement items were fun for the kids. We really just needed a clean place to stay, and this was fine; the patio and landscaping were great. The kids enjoyed the hot tub, and there were lots of towels and kitchen utensils. For the price I would choose a different property next time but this one met our needs.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. We had elderly parents and young children and babies, plus all ages in between and there was plenty of room to spread out. The game room and hot tub were big hits and we spent every morning and evening around the propane fire pit.
Jason was very responsive and easy to work with. The kitchen was well stocked and we were easily able to cook for a large group. Would definitely stay here again if we needed a large place.

There truly is something for everyone at this house. The kids played ping pong and partnered with the parents for foosball. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and wine and cigars around the fire pit were perfect. The kitchen is well appointed and we cooked almost every meal. We would definitely stay here again.

I celebrated my 30th bday here with 7 of my friends and had a wonderful time. The house is very cozy with lots of fun amenities. We enjoyed hanging around the big dining table and on the large couches. The multiple patios and windows are great. No complaints!

We had a very good time, the kids (9 to 12 years old) loved the game room, spent a lot of time there, while the adults had a good time upstairs.
We went skiing, it was a little far but it was very easy to take the highway and in few minutes we were in the road to the mountain.
On the other hand we were very close to cerrillos Rd, so we went to walmart easily and also we were very close to the Moew Wolf museum, it is totally worth it.
Jason responded all of our doubts very fast. Thanks for everything

The house was fully stocked with everything we would need from toys/games to plenty of towels and blankets. Hot tube worked great and just what we needed after a day of skiing.

This was a great place to hold our staff retreat - the location was great, it had a big meeting space in the living room, and plenty of outdoor spaces to use.

The house was well equipped and held 11 women from the AAUW group of Phoenix AZ. It was perfectly located to allow easy access to Santa Fe and also to the highway to get to The Ghost Ranch and Santa Clara Pueblo ruins. It was out of the city for privacy. Would rent this house again.

It’s great for children and young adults. The stairs both up and down are not senior friendly. The hot tub and outdoor covered patio are very nice. Very secluded and private. Less than 10 minutes to Meow Wolf and many restaurants. Weather was unusually warm and evaporative cooler only cools bedrooms upstairs and dining room. Rest of the house depends on floor fans. Kitchen needs additional lighting.

Great place for large families.
Very large and spread out house. Large living area with plenty of seating. Game room was great for the kids and adults. I would rent it again.

80th Birthday Extravaganza
We saw the property from the pics on VRBO and we excited but hesitant. (Pictures usually look better than reality for marketing.) This place was roomy, had several bedrooms and bathrooms, several games, a few outdoor spaces, and a large kitchen. We rented two houses for all the family that came for the 80th birthday extravaganza but this was the house for meals and games and gathering before outings. It was wonderful. We happened to be there at the hottest point in Santa Fe (100+ degree weather) so the swamp cooler seemed to do its best but it was warm in the house during the day. However, we all had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay. Nana's 80th birthday was a success. She enjoyed her private bathroom, private balcony, and king size bed. It was a memorable event and wonderful space. Thank you.

Fantastic Reunion in Santa Fe
For the past 8 years our group of classmates (Class of 1972) have been meeting in different areas of the USA. This year we chose the Santa Fe area and stayed @ Jason's property. All of our VRBO experiences have been good, but this year's was easily the best!
We have a large group, and we were all able to sit and eat around the dining room table, sit together in the TV room each morning, and finish off the day under the pergola around the fire pit. The evening the cold front and wind storm blew through, everyone headed to the basement where we held ping pong & hoop shoot tournaments. It was the perfect home for our group!
The communication with Jason was fantastic and he is a very easy person to work with (we needed to reschedule our visit/time and Jason made that process a very smooth and easy one).
The house was extremely well stocked, and is in a great location. You have easy access to Santa Fe, as well as a highway out of town if you wish to visit other areas. (We spent a day @ Bandelier & Los Alamos and another in Taos)
Our group had a great time catching up while in the Santa Fe area, and this home was a large part of that!
I would highly recommend Jason and his home/property! It is definitely a 10 (out of 10)!

Literally the best VRBO experience I’ve ever had
The overall amazing experience of this property started with the communication from the property owner…such a nice person and so helpful! We had several unforeseen changes pop up and Jason remained professional and flexible which was thoroughly appreciated. And the property itself is simply perfect. Our group had everyone we needed, and more! Plus, the place had tons of charm (and family history which I thought was lovely). From the beautiful outdoor patio space, to the ornately decorated bathrooms, to the quality of cleanliness…you won’t be disappointed!

Clean and convenient
Jason’s property was very clean and convenient. We were able to be downtown within minutes, yet we felt far enough away where we had some privacy and no neighbors within view. Overall, a great place with a family or friends.

Perfect for multi-generational travel group
The property was as described! There are ample things for kids to enjoy (even more than the listing), and the home is well-stocked. The host, Jason, is very responsive and easy to work with. Should we ever find ourselves needing a place to stay in Santa Fe for a large group, we will look to see if this place is available first.

SantaFe getaway
Every year, my family spends a week for Christmas in New Mexico. This was our first stay in SantaFe, and we couldn’t have found a better place to stay. The house is huge, and the amenities are awesome. We always require a hot tub, wood burning fireplace, pets allowed and 6 beds. This property met all of our requirements and at a reasonable price. The game room is great for both kids and adults. The hot tub and fire pit were used everyday and was very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone. Jason is a great host!!

Quiet retreat
Only problem was the washer didn't spin. We called the management and they sent someone over and it ran ok. Kitchen was fully stock and plenty of toilet paper and towels for our group of 10. Overall a good stay.

Great place to call “home” after a fun filled day in Santa Fe!
We really enjoyed our stay in Jason’s home! In fact, it very much felt like we were in a friend’s home as opposed to a vacation rental. It was clean and comfortable and filled to the hilt with amenities. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possible need! Lots of extra towels, bedding, etc… There is air conditioning, but seems to hit the upper floor most. There were lots of fans and we learned to keep windows covered during
the hot part of the day to keep the temp managed. The patio was where we started and end ended each day. The hot tub and fireplace were great! Cushy seating. It was easy to find and centrally located. Just a quick trip to Santa Fe fun. The property was very nice, although you can see the highway and, especially in the morning, hear the cars. From the pics and description I thought we’d be more secluded. However, it really didn’t affect our experience. We were just surprised. We had a couple of issues that Jason talked me through or took care of himself, immediately! Best response and fix to issues I’ve ever had! It was very, very appreciated! We were a group of friends, but if I’d stayed there with my kids they would have had plenty to keep them occupied with the foosball table, etc… I highly recommend Jason’s property! Could have stayed even longer and spent a day just at the house. It helped make for a wonderful vacation!
