***Beach Notes***
All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the Queen owns up to the high watermark. Be advised, the beach or water entry behind your property may vary slightly from the images displayed due to weather. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.
***Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed***
Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally. Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency in recent years. Although sargassum is an unsightly nuisance, it is largely seasonal in summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival.
Should sargassum be extremely heavy behind your property, we will reach out to the owner for alternative solutions which may include a partial refund or relocation. We try our best to work around mother nature.

Beautiful place in a great location. Would recommend.

The house is amazing. Well taken care of and beautiful. The wrap around porch is the perfect place to hang out after a long day of activities. The location was perfect and the beach was gorgeous as well!
The house was very well stocked with the everyday things that we needed…toilet paper, paper towels, so many towels and beach towels. We checked in with the Grand Cayman Villas welcome center and they were super helpful and very friendly.
We received several emails prior to arrival that were very very helpful and informative. Easy check in and easy check out process.
I ordered groceries online and had them delivered to the home before we arrived. Our property manager facilitated the delivery and the groceries were put away prior to our arrival.
We had a great time! Between the location, the house and the staff, it doesn’t get any better!

When I saw the pictures in the brochure I thought this really nice, well it’s even better when you get there. The house is clean, big enough for 7 people. Nice pool great deck and awesome beach. I would definitely go back again. 👍👍👍

Most relaxing vacation ever. Lone palm was exactly as advertised and excellent location. Very clean and comfortable and it is fully stocked with everything you will need !! Literally bring your bags and pick up some groceries and kick back. Weather was beautiful but we did get some sargassum that came in. Not to worry even if that happens you have the beautiful pool to take a dip in. Plus it's a short drive to rum point and starfish point, they had a little bit of seaweed too but didn't put a damper on our fun.
There are 2 restaurants that you can walk to, la cantina is right across the street with great food and a amazing Rita. Eagle rays is about a 3 minute walk and they too have great food and drinks.
All around we had such an awesome time, we are already planning for next year and lone palm will be our home away from home !

My only criticism would be with the management company. The A/C units had not been serviced recently and where low on coolant. This caused the upstairs unit to not work for two nights before someone came to fix it. The big kids had to sleep on the couch due to the heat. Not a huge problem but probably should have been addressed before hand. The other criticism would be with the beach not being cleaned up. In addition to the sea weed there was a lot of trash. I understand the sea weed. If it’s coming in, not much you can do about it. The guys came to clean up the property on our first day but told us there was nothing they could do about the sea weed. It seemed a little odd but they did leave us a rake out from the garden shed that we asked for and we cleaned it up. The sea weed did not continue to come in and the water and beach were great. What was a bit irritating about that was the day we were leaving they came and pulled out a motorized wheel barrow from the shed and cleaned up the whole area for the next guest checking in that day. All that being said we had a great time and would go back. We found the location to be perfect for us. If you want perfect sand and crowds go to the other end of the island.

Beautiful house, unusable beach
This is a beautiful house, with a great pool and covered hammocks. It will easily sleep 8 people which was the number in our party. But the main reason you rent a beach house is the beach and the beach here is terrible. The first 5 to 10 feet of beach next to the water was covered in algae and seaweed ever morning. Sometimes you could find a foot or two of sand at the water to take a "walk on the beach" but the first 60 to 100 yards of ocean was full of the algae and seaweed also so it was washing up on you as you take your walk. The management and different people we talked to said the algae flow was seasonal, but there was no mention of that when we were making the rental and there really should have been. We had four teenagers and they wanted to get the ocean, but not one full of algae. And I mean full, the first 60-100 yards of ocean was brown and past that was the blue water you see in all the pictures. We ended up having to drive the kids to the Seven Mile Beach area to find a place they could get in the ocean and have fun. Which was a bummer for the adults because we wanted to sit in the hammocks, read a book and drink rum runners - not drive for 45 min one way and then pay for rum runners so we could have a table while the kids played in the ocean. There might be a time of year this is the perfect beach house to rent but I would not recommend in July.

Wonderful!
Beautiful home, your own beach and pool, everything you could possibly need right there! We rarely left the property and only wanted to get back as soon as possible when we did. We've traveled the Caribbean for 20 years and this was our most relaxing vacation. I still can't believe we had an entire beach to ourselves as most of the time on other vacations we spent on crowded beaches. Several good Caribbean restaurants close by, groceries/alcohol 5-10 minute drive. Rum Point not a bad drive either if you want to get out for some action, but once we saw the crowded beach we ended up going home fairly soon to our own paradise. When driving, pay attention to speed limits and they are in KPH, not MPH. Wish we were there right now!

Lone Palm was everything we had hoped and then some
We loved the house. Upon first arriving, all 5 of us walked out to the beached and was just WOWED! The view was just perfect.
The house was very comfortable and had everything one could want to enjoy a stay on the beach; from the kayaks and the stand up paddle board that where used on a daily basis to the charcoal and gas grill. The management staff where very attentive to an unforeseen issue, as it was immediately remedied. Already talking about returning for another stay. Loved every minute. Thank you for allowing us to rent your beautiful home. St. Petersburg, Fl

Just as shown
Lovely, clean, private beach and pool. Gorgeous ocean views; amazing colors that change constantly trough out the day. The wrap around veranda and panoramic picture windows give 180 degree ocean views. Multiple hammocks and beach chairs, plenty of comfortable seating inside and out.
Well stocked kitchen wares, soft sheets, plenty of towels and toiletries.
Very breezy- absolutely no bugs even at dusk.

Private with own beach
Lone Palm is away from the crowds at 7 mile beach… we sat on the front porch overlooking the ocean morning noon and night. Kaibo yacht club upstairs was great. Beach was wonderful and the House has everything you need

Lone Palm was the perfect setting for our family vacation!!
We spent a week at Lone Palm over the New Year holiday! The private beach was amazing. The house had everything we needed. We spent time in the pool, swaying in the hammocks, enjoying the kayaks provided, snorkeling in the ocean, and just relaxing on the porch after sunset. The location is walking distance to nice restaurants and just a short bike ride to groceries and water sports. The house is beautifully maintained and provided all the creature comforts from home, like big screen TVs for watching college football and high speed WiFi for our children to stay connected! We loved it so much we have already booked Lone Palm for our next vacation!

Beautiful home
We had a great time and enjoyed the pool and snorkeling the small reefs out from the beach the only drawbacks are the beach is not that great too much sea weed and it is 45 minute drive to Georgetown where the shopping and a lot of the attractions are on the island but if you want seclusion and great diving this is the place overall had a good time

Great Place on East End for Diving and Snorkeling
This was a great vacation home on the East End, especially if diving with Ocean Frontiers and snorkeling during the day. Everything was like the pictures and the house was very well maintained and perfect for a family / extended family. Best to have a rental car to explore other parts of the Island. We went to Rum Point one day and Seven Mile Beach one day. This part of the East End is best if you want to get away from the more tourist areas of the Island. Many good eating establishments close by...even though they don't look like much, the food is great (Eagle Rays and Tukka were very good). Would definitely stay here again. For the snorkeling, you have to be willing to kayak out to the dive spot about 300 yards off the beach, but still within the protected breakers, so it is a calm kayak trip. There is beautiful snorkeling at that location with stingrays, multitudes of fish (jack, puffer fish, etc.), lobster (at night), octopus (also at night if you have very keen eyes), and much more. Keep in mind there is no fishing or spear fishing allowed on the Island except with a dive shop. Also, do not bring any dive gloves with you to Cayman as it carries a high penalty...they want to keep the corral as untouched as possible.

Awesome Beach House!!!
We were celebrating my parents 40th wedding anniversary and had 6 adults and 1 child! It had perfect accommodations, and that back deck what can I say just breathless. Paradise, and the owners and staff were great to work with. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.
