Great hotel! The staff were exceptionally friendly and super helpful. Whilst the room was small, I knew it would be but it was clean, the bed was very comfortable and I was on the 10th floor with an awesome view. The rooftop bar and speakeasy below ground was amazing! I will stay there again for sure.

Location
Room was tiny and super uncomfortable.
The deposit fee for incidents was 500$ while booking says it 199$.
Some of the staff at reception were not so kind and helpful

Geschmackvolle Einrichtung, Lage gut.

Super fancy! The music in the speakeasy was amazing. The room is very small for two, but I was alone, so it was nice.
1.5
The too laid back take it or leave it attitude of the staff. The entrance means you have to go up or down stairs and no help or elevator there. The smallest room I have ever known and I have been staying in NYC forever. I wish I had chosen The Roxy. The lack of the most basic room service. If I were not so able - I would never have been able to climb into the end of the bed area and get into the bed. The ironing board was miniscule and no place to put it to iron. The staff were laughable when they seriously suggested I iron on the bed - where the iron lead does not reach a socket-let alone it being dangerous. I was in a hotel and not camping- or so I thought.
4.5
Lovely public areas. Room with fabulous view.
Rooms tiny. Person sleeping on the inside needs to be athletic!

Comfortable, great staff, nice cafe and restaurant. Convenient location.

Good location, lovely staff, comfy bed. Powerful shower and great view (I was on a high floor).
Tiny room, as expected - but I couldn't even open my suitcase. Would have hoped for room under the bed to put the suitcase but the drawer was split in two with a divider so the suitcase wouldn't fit!
4.0
The speakeasy bar downstairs, the comfort of the bed, the big shower, the underbed storage for suitcases, the friendliness and availability of the staff.
The cleanliness could have been better as I stayed a week it felt like hoovering wasn't done each time.

Beautiful hotel and cute rooms outstanding views! Ideal for a solo traveler, but the ruins would not fit two adults. Very quiet and clean and great coffee shop in the lobby.

It was nice, minimal, unique, nice view, clean, sleek.
It didn’t have a fridge and the bathroom door didn’t completely close so if anyone takes a smelly poo then there’s a risk of the whole hotel room smelling

The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in
The bathroom was a bit small

Great location, very friendly and professional staff, fantastic coffee and a nice little speakeasy-style bar in the basement. Will definitely be back.
The rooms are small, but the same can be said of most hotels in the city.

Staff was rude - one of them hanged up the phone on me.
The description of the room on booking.com was misleading and when i called them about it they were just using excuses.
They refused to issue invoices - and had to call booking.com to help me get the invoice. But booking.com didnt send me the righ invoices - still have to call them again :(

Aside from the room being very small for 2 adults our stay was excellent.
We would take the slightly larger room next time. It was well designed and bright.
The size of the room.

It was clean, good location, fantastic rooftop bar and staff who go out of their way for you. They allowed us to check
in early and also check out late and they were so thoughtful. Nelson, Jen and Edwin were particularly helpful and made sure that we had water and anything we needed.
The room was quite small but that wasn’t a problem for us.

We lucked out with a wonderful NY skyline view from our hotel room window which was the cherry on the top of a great stay. It was extra special. The staff were really welcoming and very helpful. The location close to Canal Street stations which was great for getting anywhere in the city.

really lovely hotel in a great location and the staff were very helpful
it was quite expensive for the size of the room, but seemed pretty par for the course in NY

The room was clean and the location is close to the metro stop. The open area on the ground floor is really nice and you can also have breakfast in the morning
The room is small, like the most rooms in NY.

I like the location
Housekeeping didn’t make up my room or provide fresh towels one of the days I was there. I even had the make up room sign on.
2.5
bed was at the window in a platform not that reliable. Cozy king room was really small. bed was against a corner with windows all over. Shades were available but did not cover well, so sun would wake us up really early. bathroom door was a sliding door that wouldn’t completely close, so if you want some privacy from other room companions while using the toilet, it’s an issue.
I did not feel safe in that neighborhood. a lot of street vendors, trash and noise.

Amazing location, easy to walk to restaurants, shops, attractions. Easy access to public transport to get to work. Couldn't have been a better location for us :)
Rooms are a bit small but I understand space is at a premium in NYC. However, the view from our room made up completely for the size. We could see the Chrysler building and the general city scape which looked beautiful at night.
