A short walk into the main square, the staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. They helped us practice our Spanish and were very patient. When we got food poisoning from a restaurant they went above and beyond to help us and accommodate us staying an extra night. Room was a great size and comfy!
The blinds didn't block out any light. A little bit outdated but that didn't bother us!!

Great location. Staff very accommodating and even let us leave our bags the next day until late as we where catching an overnight bus but wanted to explore during the day, at no extra cost.

I arrived late and there was nobody available for check-in (I did message to let them know I would be late and they said no problem), I couldn't enter the hostel. I rang the phone number provided and it was answered on the third attempt and I was let in. On the last night of my stay whilst I was out they moved my bags without telling me. I only found out my stuff was moved to another room when they directed me to the new room they had, where I was put in a separate bed beside a girl sleeping who had no idea she was sharing a bedroom. Disappointing!

Beds were large and comfy, private bathroom for a 3 bed dorm room. Good location, a short walk from town centre. Nice staff.
There were two scheduled water shut downs on the whole town during my stay and I was only aware when I tried to turn the tap on and nothing came out. It would've been nice to have been told. The kitchen didn't look very clean so I didn't cook or have the breakfast. Although the beds were big, there was very little floor space to put bags. The dorm key was also supposed to work for the front door, however mine didn't so I had to rely on someone being at reception to let me in.

Staff is a cute fam with some help here and there from others, theyre all very friendly and helpful.
Its located good, near the centre and busstation and yet super quiet. The room was small but convenient and i got a room update with a private bathroom.
The kitchen/chilling area is good, but in the middle of all the rooms, no outside as it looked to me in the pictures.
Small room but ok. I only got a cold shower but mightve done something wrong.

The location, central but quiet :) The staff and the owner were helpful and nice, with no problem we arranged whatever we needed. Really good value for the money.
The kitchen was filthy (though it is a big fault of the guests staying there and not washing), fridge also full and filthy.
Dorm room has only one toilet/shower on the upper floor, so be ready for waiting.

Very pleasant owners ! Economic option to stay in town
Cold at night, holes in ceiling and floor, no lock in the shower... Looks a bit like in construction

No windows in the room, wifi was a bit spotty.

we got a room upgrade and had a very nice hot shower. they also did all out of washing for us last minute. lovely family and very friendly. such a good price
the kitchen is very small. the family that run the hostel also live here. therefore the fridge and kitchen is filled with their personal items making it difficult to find space to cook. we ended up just eating out. our toilet seat was broken.

The bedroom was clean and comfortable. We were provided with lots of bedding to reflect the temperature which was great. The place is in a great location.
The Wi-Fi was bad, often not working at all. The private bathroom had used toilet roll tubes on the shelf and previous guests tour wrist bands in the shower. Other reviews on here said the kitchen was available. When we arrived we asked if we could use the kitchen but we’re told we couldn’t (as the kitchen isn’t actually in the listing we accepted this) but then continued to see other guests use the kitchen. I think they need to decided if the kitchen is for guests and be consistent rather than one rule for one and another for others.

It was very Simple but for this price its amazing, we got two big beds and bathroom with a hot shower. Internet works great
Its a guest house run by a family with children, that make a lot of noise from early morning, hard to bear sometimes

Very spacious! It is nothing fancy, but it is a super pleasant place to stay, and great value for the price. The common areas are very comfortable, and I loved all the plants. The private quad room had comfortable beds, a small table, a private bathroom with hooks for clothing. The dorms looked spacious too, which was a nice change after staying in another hostel closer to the center of town. The kitchen isn’t mentioned in the listing, but it’s available to use.
If there is hot water, I couldn’t figure it out. The kitchen could be cleaner.

The family owning this property is very nice. Katleen and Leo always greet you with a smile. I feel like visiting family. I'll stay here when I visit Salento again.

the room had a private bathroom and it is not far from the main square
very small window in the room, felt a bit like being in underground, problems getting warm water, you need to wait for a longer time

Absolutely everything! Had a great time in Salento, we got a room upgrade, family was super nice and even helped us with ideas for trips, activities in the area. Room was clean, water was hot, bed was comfortable, we weren't cold in the night, even though it rained quite heavily. If you're on the budget or just prefer to spend for activities rather then beds, this is your choice! Extrañamos todos!
Nada!

Amazing stay with this beautiful family, we fell at home, it’s near the main square of the village. Good value for money. The facilities are nice money-value-wise.

Friendly staff, hot showers & good Wi-Fi
It said breakfast available, but it's not. No air conditioning & it was a bit cold. They didn't let me change my reservation even tho there was plenty of rooms to spare.

The beds were very comfortable and it's close to the bus station. Nice family running the place. Great shower.
Very basic facilities. Kitchen was pretty dirty so I didn't want to use it much. No lock on the bathroom door for the dorm, I got walked in on by another guest :') . The beds don't have lights or sockets. Overall the vibe is dark and dingy. You get what you pay for, it's okay just for sleeping.

the property is really well located, just a short walk from the main square. the owners are super helpful and kind. the room had hot water and was comfortable. especially for the price, this is a great place to stay in Salento.
the bed was a little uncomfy. but worth the price

The owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We had a private bedroom and bathroom, the shower was excellent and the bed was comfy.
No major issues but the Wi-Fi was pretty slow, although that wasn’t an issue for people backpacking like us.

Good location, although a bit outside the centre of Salento. Nice room with private bathroom for an excellent price. The rooms look way nicer in real life than on the pictures. Good breakfast and the nicest hosts! Really recommend it!
