The room was spacious and beautiful, with a mosquito net and a colonnial looking vibe. The bed was comfortable. The building itself is also beautiful (just like the pictures) with a nice terrace to have breakfast and a cool bar. Breakfast was extensive and pleasant.
Based on the pictures, we imagined this place was based in a spacious environment surrounded by a park or forest. This is not the case, as it is next to the road. So we found the photos a bit misleading.
The parking space is on a very steep hill. It was quite difficult to park with little space for multiple cars, but this is nog something they are to blame for or can change but still mentionable upfront.
The person who received us was a bit odd, making strange jokes which made us feel uncomfortable. The room itself is beautiful, but the bathroom was quite small. The bath - which we were very looking forward to - was super small and narrow, so we took a shower instead while we reserved this place mostly for the nice looking bath. The toilet was cramped inbetween the bath and shower, which made a normally sized bathroom actually too small for going to the toilet or taking a bath.
The breakfast was nice with fruits, granola and juices. Good coffee was served, and we got an omelette with bacon and sausage. However, they served this squared cheese in plastic which is used to melt on burgers, and has no place on a breakfast platter. This cheese was also put in the omelette, which ruined it a bit. The toast is from the squared bread that is packed in plastic, which we didn't like.
Overall this place is OK and you will enjoy it. However, being one of the pricier places we stayed during our trip, you will find far better value stays in Durban/SA. It has high potential but did not quite fulfill the expectation (maybe due to lower season).
This review is not to bash on anything, just an honest opinion of our stay.

Security und Personal
Extrem in die Jahre gekommen, müsste dringend renoviert werden. Zimmer müffelt feucht.
Sauberkeit des Zimmers ist fragwürdig

From the outside there is really nothing special to see, just another home. When you enter the property, you enter another world. It is filled with nooks and lush vegetation. The hotel attendant greeted us, helped us carry the league to our room and gave us a wonderful local restaurant suggestion. Our room was quaint with a little garden porch. Breakfast was wonderful.
Lots of steps to our room. This was overlooked because of the sheer beauty of the place. No complaints.

The breakfast was excellent and enjoyable, the rooms were beautiful and gave the filing that you were in a different time zone. And sitting outside on the patio and watching sunset is marvel.

Great all-round experience. From the very helpful and friendly staff to probably the best bed I've slept in for a very long time. Location is also great, with pleasant views, quiet, calm surroundings just moments away from the vibey Florida road.

room too small and had a damp smell.

The views, attention to detail, the decor, atmosphere, safety. Honestly everything exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was also really good (could have a little more variety especially for longer stays but delicious nonetheless).
Outside of breakfast options, perhaps more lounger chairs by the pool incase there's more people swimming. But to be quite honest, everything was perfect.

Beautiful interior and delicious breakfast
Consider putting prices of drinks including coffee on the bar fridge so that the clients are aware of prices of not getting a surprise when checking out.

it was raining and the staircase from my room was dangerously slippery. I hope sincerely that they attend to this soon.

The best place for Comrades runners. They arrange early breakfast and even shuttles to/from stadium once you finished. Thank you so much guys for your hospitality.
