The property was excellent. Clean and cosy, and the views were absolutely stunning!

Fantastic location, great living space with lovely views and very quiet. Great showers.
Beds were a little bit squashy. Top shelves in the kitchen were a bit high for the vertically challenged amongst us - a step stool would be handy.

The view, clean & comfortable place, well equipped kitchen and the kids had a lovely time
Just FYI for others, not a complaint. We stayed on ground floor, the people staying upstairs were stomping around pretty loud until late at night but I think it was more the people than the place itself, I'd say most of the time you wouldn't hear a peep with slightly more sociable behaviour. Also would prefer if there was a separate recycling bin rather than having to take it to town yourself as it would encourage sustainability, but very minor point. Still 10/10 and will 100% stay again

All the rooms were very cosy, clean and comfortable. There was also plenty of shared space in the kitchen and living room for us to hang out together, and the kitchen was well-equipped for us to make all our meals. The view from the property is amazing.
The host is very accommodating and helpful, and their dogs are very friendly and well-behaved.
There could have been non-metal cooking utensils for the non-stick cookware, as we want to keep them in good condition for the next guests.
Also could have been a little clearer about what exactly is included, e.g. toilet roll refills are not included (but the host was very nice and gave us some anyway!)

This property was perfect for our stay, we were more than happy and would definitely stay here again. The rooms were a great size, beds comfy, pillows comfy, all furnishings clean and comfy. We stayed here as a base for some local hiking and the location was ideal, walking distance to Catbells and other local hikes/walks. We stayed during February and the property was easy to heat / warmed up very quickly once heating put on. Always plenty of hot water, a really decent over the bath shower and good sized bath. Toys and books available to use, our children really enjoyed all the old annuals (beano, dandy etc). The host was friendly and if we would of have any issues I feel confident they would have resolved them quickly, but everything was great so no problems.

Everything
Finding the property was a nightmare but we did travel at night. Maybe signage at the entrance like a hanging plaque or a board

Location was brilliant for a weekend walking, loads of space, facilities was more then ample. Short walk back braithwaite after a pub stop. Owner was very friendly and met us with keys on arrival
Sat Nav took me down a farmers track and through a ford before I got completely lost. Rung the owner who was very friendly who put me back on the right track

As soon as we walked into the house we knew we wouldn’t want to leave. It had the perfect combination of English charm and modern updates. The home was clean and comfortable, there were toys available for my kids to play with, plenty of books to read for pleasure or to plan some day trips around the Lake District, and the view was breathtaking! We would stay here again if we get the chance to go back.
The roads to the house were very narrow and had to deal with a few loose sheep but that has nothing to do with our impressions of the house. It was worth the narrow roads and sheep.

Surperb location, views and facilities. It has everything you need for an amazing stay.

Location was amazing. You could walk right from the house and other popular walks were only a short drive away,
Everything was clean & comfortable and far exceeded our expectations. Excellent value for money.
The hosts were very welcoming, including their lovely, friendly dogs.
Exploring right from the doorstop was amazing, including a circular walk we did to reach to the lone tree on the top of the hill behind the house!
Nothing!

Outstanding location and a great base for exploring the Lake District. The lodge was perfectly positioned with stunning views of Skiddaw, Helvellyn, Catbells and farmlands. We felt secluded enough yet still within a ten minute drive to Keswick town centre. My small kids called this accommodation their 'dream house'
Amenities were excellent with working Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, and full kitchen. Beds were very comfortable with plush towels. The stock photos do not do justice how beautiful this property is. We would surely love to come back again. David, our host is also communicative and very responsive to questions. Overall, it was an amazing first trip to the Lakes and won't be our last.
Nothing. It was perfect for our needs.

Beautiful location with stunning views.
Look up the public footpath route to the local Swinside Inn (25 mins, great beer, lovely views from beer garden) and beyond to Derwent Water / Hawes End Jetty / Cat Bells.
Beware of local drivers on narrow roads!
Noise from young family upstairs!
Seems no recycling availability in the Lakes!
