Our host Ennio was just EXCEPTIONAL !The most attentive host we have ever stayed with ( and we have done ALOT of travel )He contacted us to streamline check in and throughout our stay was so helpful. We had a friend who is vegetarian and had a birthday - he texted us lists of suitable restaurants to celebrate. My husband managed to leave several articles of clothing behind and he contacted us and couried them on to our next accomodation refusing to accept payment. The location of this property is perfect for the old centre of Palermo - we felt safe and exceptionally well cared for by our host.

The location was excellent in the historic area with easy access to key sites, public transit, markets and great restaurants. The apartment was clean, quiet at night, the beds were comfy, and both bedrooms and bathrooms were of good size. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials such as olive oil, seasonings, tea, coffee, bottled water, and even some snacks. The clothesline outside in the sun was a plus. The host was very helpful and communication was great. He checked on us via WhatsApp to see how things were going and made suggestions for eateries. He was very helpful and accommodating upon check out. A very memorable stay. Thank you!

Situation parfaite . Grand Appartement magnifique décoré avec beaucoup de goût . Joli salon confort avec kitchenette. 2 chambres et 2 salles de bain. Proximité de tous les endroits à visiter à pied et nombreux restaurants . Mais le meilleur reste à venir : c est la gentillesse et la disponibilité du propriétaire Ennio avec ses meilleurs conseils.

Great location, in the heart of the old town. The apartment was light, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. My friend and I had identical bedrooms and a bathroom each, which were very comfortable. Our hosts had carefully considered the needs of their guests and went above and beyond to make sure were happy with our stay. We were given some lovely treats and given many brilliant recommendations for places to visit and restaurants.

The apartment was absolutely lovely - two big double bedrooms, two big bathrooms, a large living area and fully equipped kitchen. Everything was immaculate and the apartment is thoughtfully and tastefully furnished, with all sorts of extras to make it special. It had real character and was only 7 mins walk from the theatre in the central area. Our hosts went out of their way to meet us in person, and had left lots of useful information. We used one of the suggested walks to take in some of the city's key tourist attractions.
Nothing - it was all great. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We are a family travelling with 3 young kids and the place was perfect for our stay. We travel a lot and stay in flats / houses all over and this flat was definitely amongst our top stays! Ennio and Delia went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. Communication was great, they met us in Palmero and helped with our suitcases, showed us around the flat and even had coffee, snacks, cereals, milk etc. for us upon arrival. They had even prepared a baby cot and some toys for our youngest!
The location couldn't be better, the flat meets all expectations and we would surely stay there again if we were to visit Palermo again.

Good communication with the owner before and as we landed with details on how to get to the apt. Very thoughtful extras included in the apartment eg bottle of wine, plenty of tea & coffee, snacks, plenty of water, bathroom extras. comfortable beds and quiet and very well situated so we could walk everywhere. A nicely decorated light, bright & large apartment for 4.

We can't say enough about how enjoyable our stay was. We were very warmly greeted by our hosts Ennio and his wife Delia to explain all the details of the beautiful apartment. We were amazed with all the thoughtful amenities provided, from the beautiful fresh flowers on the table to the bottle of delicious Sicilian wine to celebrate our stay. We arrived on a Sunday and when we inquired where we could get staples for breakfast the next day, we were pleasantly surprised to find water and milk in the fridge as well a tasty selection of pastries and biscuits to get us thru several breakfasts had been provided. All the toiletries in the bathrooms, too many list, to were of excellent quality.
It was a very cold week and as we are from Florida, Ennio and Delia always made sure we felt comfortable and warm. They were always very attentive and quick to respond to any questions. They always followed up to make sure we were doing well. We were made to feel this was our home away from home.
The location is excellent within walking distance to all sights and very close to the famous Mercato del Capo where you can buy fresh local products to cook in the lovely well equiped kitchen, as well sample the amazing Sicilian street food.
Located on very safe and quiet pedestrian street, in a very modern, impeccably clean and secure building with a roomy elevator, which is always a rarity in the Historic Center. The apartment is very bright and cheerful, with french doors and balconies in all the rooms to allow the golden Sicilian sun in.
Our stay in Palermo was the highlight of our month long trip to Italy and Spain!
We miss Logia dei Rei and hope to see Ennio and Delia again!

Our host Ennio was a delight from start to finish. He provided great information and advised on some superb locations to eat and have coffee throughout our stay (all via WhatsApp, so not intrusive at all). We would not haver enjoyed Palermo as much without all of Ennio's fantastic tips.

The apartment was wonderful and in an ideal location, close to the cathedral.
The host was very attentive and gave us excellent instructions about the apartment's facilities and local points of interest. The apartment was very well stocked with a wide range of useful items and interesting travel guides and books.
We enjoyed the views from the apartment and the lovely interior decorations, especially the marionettes.

The apartment was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed - having two bathrooms was amazing! Our host, Ennio, had some amazing recommendations and was friendly and courteous. The location is really central, a 5 minute walk from the excitement of Via Maqueda and a 5 minute walk from the Cathedral.
The road is cobbled and quite difficult if you're carrying suitcases - I'd suggest packing light as the apartment had a lot of the stuff we needed (shampoo and conditioner, basic cooking stuff, maps and guidebooks). We occasionally heard some noise from outside but I suspect this happens everywhere in Palermo!

Very clean, spacious, centrally located and secure. Delia and Ennio have supplied an apartment where you feel you are living in your own home. There is absolutely nothing missing and our week there was unbelievably comfortable due to their kindness, help when required and generosity with their time.

Location was fantastic. Hosts were easy to communicate with and set up a taxi service on departure. Apartment is large and spacious and easily accommodated the three of us.
Bathroom cleanliness of both bathrooms was an issue for us. On arrival, we found the toilet in one of the bathrooms not properly cleaned. I reached out to the host who said the cleaner would be sent back to the apartment while we were exploring the city. We came back and found the bathrooms in the same state—dirty toilets and unclean showers. Luckily, there were cleaning supplies in the apartment that we used.
On a less significant note, the towel fixture and shower handle were also broken in the second bathroom.
The night before departure we received a whatsapp message from the hosts asking us not to report our findings in a review. This was even more disappointing—not only did we bring an issue to the attention of the hosts, but the issues went unaddressed AND we were asked not to report back to future potential guests our honest findings. I personally would not recommend this apartment or the hosts.

Loved EVERYTHING !!!
Ennio and Delia were most wonderful, helping us with places to see and eat. Can't praise them enough for their kindness, even arranging a taxi to the airport.
The apartment was a home away from home, with everything you could possibly need. Big rooms with extremely comfortable beds. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit Palermo.
Don't look anywhere else.
I will surely come back again.

When you stay at La Loggia dei Re, you are not only getting a spacious and fully equipped apartment with great views of the old town, you are getting a devoted personal guide to your Palermo stay.
We were to arrive way past midnight due to the flight schedule. The owner got in touch on the day of your arrival in order to arrange for our seamless entry to which he later attended, and was happy to answer questions we had about where to get breakfast the next day or go for lunch. During our stay, we could always text to ask where to go or how to get there. We felt a real sense of engagement and the will to make sure we get the best experience from our stay in Palermo.
This just was the most enchanting travel experience in many years which we will cherish and remember, grazie Delia and Ennio!
Oh, and when you stay at La Loggia do not forget to drop by the Capo gelateria just down the lane one minute from the flat - great ice cream and sweet customer approach.

This is the perfect place for exploring the city. Away from the busy streets. The beds are comfortable, plenty of space and pleasing aesthetics. The proprietors helped us every step of the way. Even made reservations at a wonderful restaurant for us.We are disappointed we couldn’t stay longer.

Very clean ,great location. Pictures and other items helped create a nice theme throughout the apartment. Impressed by system for disposal of garbage. Felt very welcomed by pleasantries in the form of drinks and local pastries. And to top it all off the host called us after we had flown back home to our country to see if we got home safe which we really appreciated.
Can’t remember the last time we had such a great experience with a host , thoroughly enjoyed our stay .

We had an outstanding experience at Loggia dei Rei.
When searching for accommodation, there are 3 important things you need: A nice flat, a nice location and a nice host. Every single one of those three elements was a solid 10/10. We are traveling a lot, and this was hands down the nicest, most caring host and one of the top three apartments we ever stayed in. It is nice, warm in the winter (we went in December), spacious, thoughtful with a lot of details, cozy, comfortable and has everything you need and a little bit on top … the host put us little toys for our baby in the crib. Isn’t this nice? The location is just amazing. Close to a supermarket, a bakery, a coffee place, the cathedral, and a 5 minutes walk from the most touristic street with uncountable eating and drinking options. Our host Ennio was like a friend and giving help and advice whenever he could. We immediately felt welcome and home. Thanks for the nice experience. I’d give a 12/10 if i could.

The apartment and its hosts are really exceptional. Excellent location - within the first city walls from the 4th century BC, so the attractions of the city simply surround this apartment from all sides. It is freshly renovated, tasteful, smells new and stylish. Perfect for two couples, because each of the two identical bedrooms has a separate bathroom, which makes life very comfortable for four people. In addition, the extraordinary kindness of the hosts. Extraordinary, because we have used many apartments in many countries, but here this kindness and help was the best. There is also free parking in the inner courtyard, although it is very, very difficult to get to. Google won't help. But this is what it is like when you want to live in the ancient city center.
