Had a cosy, romantic and enjoyable couple of nights with Stacey being excellent host..

It was cosy, everything essential was provided, Stacey who was looking after the place is excellent, she looked after us so well, checked on us always, she even contacted me before we arrived and kept checking on our needs and when we asked she arranged wine tour for us, once again we really enjoyed the tour with James… it was my birthday treat, me and my husband really enjoyed, loved…

I can't wait to go back in the summer.

Self catering breakfast package was included with fresh bread, eggs and bacon, also a cheese platter and a bottle of wine.

everything was perfect. I did not like having to leave!

Beautiful Cottage for a very quiet and peaceful stay in Mudgee

We were met on arrival and walked to our cottage // Fireplace was on, room was nice and cosey as it was a cold day

Fabulous relaxing, and beautiful scenery

The hosts of this property Stacey and Phil were so welcoming and assisted with recommendations to the best wineries, eateries. Organised massages for us in room and takeaway food. Gardens and location were exceptional. Highly recommend

Mudgee Getaway

We loved everything about Evanslea. Stacey was most welcoming and very attentive to our needs, and nothing was a bother. The wine and cheese platter was much appreciated as were all the little touches in the accommodation. The grounds are magnificent and we will definitely visit again.

Everything was just perfect.

I loved the grounds beautiful gardens with a river along the back. Room was amazing and Stacey was so helpful with everything, suggesting where to go for dinner etc. I was exceptional. We had the nicest time.

I am satisfied with the service and the experience.

it has all the features that you need for the stay. The pool is a great place to stay. Garden is interesting. The hospitality is second to none!

There are many bugs although the bugs are everywhere in mudgee😄

Spacious, spotless set in beautiful landscaped gardens, its close enough to Mudgee centre to be convenient, yet quiet and peaceful. Lovely wine cheese & bread provided by our host

The accommodation is advertised as more luxurious than it is.

Rooms were very spacious. Nice to have a wood heater. Bed was very comfortable. Host was very welcoming.

Tranquility and beauty.

The cottage accommodation, location, gardens and ammenities. The cottage was private and quiet, yet a short drive to the centre of town. We were provided every comfort and enjoyed being near the river.

Nothing of any significance. Sometimes the noise of the water fountain drowned out the songs of the birds and frogs living in the small lake near our door. The fountain was only going in daylight hours.

Loved Orchid cottage will be back

Property was everything I expected, Stace was very welcoming and informative, we loved the added extras cheese, bread and biscuits. Unfortunately we didn't use the eggs or bacon which equally looked delicious. We stayed in Orchid Cottage which gave us privacy and we could sit outside and enjoy the sunset and have a glass of wine.

We really enjoyed our stay at Evanslea. Stacey and staff were all very helpful and friendly.

Stacey met us at the reception office and explained everything we required to know about the accommodation. The complementary breakfast was very generous, the bottle of red wine and cheese plater were wonderful. The grounds and gardens are a pleasure to walk around. The cottage is away from the road so there is no traffic noise - very quiet. Excellent four days stay in Mudgee.

I have a disability and I should have asked about a seat for the shower - I did manage but I am sure Stacey would have arranged something if I hadn't been too proud to ask.

Beautiful location nice & private. Would definitely stay again.

Breakfast was great. Fresh eggs and bacon Would have liked some orange juice supplied though.

The room was a little dusty & cold and having the air condition on wasn't ideal would have preferred the fireplace ready to use.

Had a wonderful few days away with friends at this amazing property.

Stacey is a wonderful host going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable from letting us know the best places to eat, organising and booking tours, etc to the lovely breakfast and cheese platter she had there for us, nothing was a problem for her. This property is absolutely stunning. The perfect place for a group or family to stay. We stayed with a group of friends in the house and it was fabulous. The location is great, the gardens and the whole property are absolutely stunning.

Great accommodation to relax

Lovely location....close enough to the Mudgee CBD to walk to the great restaurants and hotels. The gardens are very nice and the owner was very attentive and knowledgeable about great places to eat and drink. The cheese platter, bottle of wine and breakfast pack were all great. Highly recommend.
