A Large, comfortable room and bathroom with a very comfortable bed and direct verandah access. The Hotel is within an easy walk of the town centre.

A lovely stay for three nights, close to town!

the rooms are well appointed and large. we stayed in Suite 1 and then Suite 2 and both were quiet nice. they both opened out to the absolutely gorgeous balcony! it was much nicer in Suite 2 though with the outlook over the cafe and more greenery. Having the cafe downstairs is a plus! The location is also unbeatable. close to town and other amenities with easy parking.

The Suite 2 can get noisy. if you’re wanting to sleep in it’s a little hard with the cafe music and the staff preparing for the morning with stools banging onto the brick floor and them chatting. as the hotel is on a busy roundabout and part of a major route, there was early morning traffic noise from large trucks.

We'de definitely stay at the Parkview again, friendly staff and proximity to everything fantastic.

The room was well appointed in the style of the property, bathroom great and the location being 1 block back from the township and across the road from a beautiful park. Great upstairs veranda open to everyone with views over the park, nice outdoor furniture and an ice machine! Cafe in the garden area (not part of hotel) serving great breakfasts and coffee.

Being on the intersection of highways, there was some traffic noise, but the windows did provide significant noise reduction, so not really an issue unless you are a very light sleeper.

Fantastic place to visit ... but beware Mudgee Tax

Away for the weekend with a group of friends. Very happy with the Parkview hotel even though I believe the price was rather high for country NSW. Could have had a Sydney Harbour hotel for cheaper. Location was great, can stroll into the shops and pubs. If you stay, try and get an upper room as you have direct access to the balcony. Great for pre dinner drinks and watching the world go by.

Breakfast wasn't included for the high price. Went to the Cafe attached to the hotel and paid $13 for two, not very good scones. If you are after breakfast, walk into town and try one of the cafes. 5 minute walk to Cades Kitchen & Bar which had great breakfasts. Found everything expensive, the term Mudgee Tax was used a lot.
