The beds were good. Nice pillows. Coziness and fireplace. Washing machine was very handy.
Mold in shower stall. Supplies not replenished before we got there. A drying rack would be helpful. Stairs! Not all appliances work the same. Directions in book would be helpful. The restaurant, places to visit and transportation info needs phone numbers.

Needs a little work

The location was excellent, the flat spotless and extremely well equipped, and our host John couldn’t have been any more helpful.
The attic stairs are too steep and wouldn’t be suitable for children.

Fisherman’s Flat is situated in the delightful historical village of Broughty Ferry. I’d never heard of Broughty Ferry before but now I feel that it will be a place I’ll regularly visit. The flat had everything that we needed. I loved the well stocked kitchen - it had such a homely vibe to it. The shower was hot and powerful and the beds were comfy. I loved the lounge area and appreciated the log burner. A selection of board games and books were available and I thoroughly enjoyed reading through the book about the history behind the street names within the village - it added to the enjoyment of the stay as I could tell the kids the background as we walked around the town.
Broughty Ferry has a lovely front to it, great park for the kids and a good beach. Fantastic restaurants on the doorstep and a really great selection of shops. If you are staying with kids I highly recommend taking them to Dundee Science Museum (15 minute drive), Camperdown Country Park (also 15 minute drive) and If you have a bit of cash to splash the trampoline park (also 15 minutes drive!)
There wasn’t anything that I disliked.

The location was great and flat was clean
Would of been nice if there was a bag of logs provided since there's a log burner, if you aren't travelling by car you can't really go and get any nearby.
Could see simple stuff was provided - tea bags coffee etc however there was only 2 teabags and 5 of us.
The flat was pretty cold when we arrived.
The downstairs bed was very uncomfy and on a slope on the left hand side.

The flats location was even more stunning than the photos showed. On the doorstep is the waterfront and the views are just beautiful.
The flat is comfortable and I imagine in Winter it would be cosy with the fire on. The beds are comfortable and the shower in the bathroom was pretty good.
We met the host when we arrived and he was friendly and sociable. We had an issue with the internet and he was quick to assist.
The area is busy with cars but all the surrounding streets are available to park on so wasn’t an inconvenience.

t Photos on booking.com site for this property are not accurate, so I suggest u change or revisit thisnot a huge issue bot cooking utensils need to be stored easily and replace or clean baking trays and grill so as to enable a family to cook...also
If advertised as for 6.. should have adrquate table and chairs.. and parking especially if u are a blue badge holder is an issue again u should b honest about this

Broughty Ferry is really lovely and the flat is in a brilliant spot.
Tthe space is a little tight for 6 people. We were fine because only there for 2 nights but may not have been that comfortable for more than this. John. Is very helpful and friendly and the flat is in a great location in a great town. There are lovely places to eat, drink, shop and walk and everyone is really nice.

The location was excellent, in the heart of Broughty Ferry. It is within 5 minutes walk of the rail station for transport to Dundee. It is also ideally situated for a golf weekend, with lots of great courses within 30 minutes drive.
It would have been great to see a floor plan in advance but that is a really minor issue!
4.4
The location is perfect and the flat itself was spotless and very comfortable.
I stayed here with my groomsmen and best man the night before my wedding. John was great and always easily contactable. Can't fault him.
4.4
excellent location but with the new sea wall being built there is little parking, but it is not generally a problem in this area.
currently, and this is only temporary, there is a lot of construction around the sea wall and so rather noisy but this is only 8am to 4pm

Great location, host great for responding, lovely bathroom and kitchen really well equipped.
Attic rooms are definitely a challenge and wouldn't be suitable for everyone however it is made clear when booking.

Lovely place in a lovely town. Close to all amenities. Tidy place
Really need to get some blinds in the attic windows and possibly an extra banister those stairs are ridiculously steep
4.4
Immensely convenient location for walks, many restaurants and wide selection of little shops.
The views from the cyclepath and coastroad were beautiful.
The tasteful decor ,lighting and furniture lent character to the lounge and kitchen.
The showerroom was pleasant and the shower was powerful.
The kitchen was very well equipped and easy to work in. Quality towels and bedding.
The heating was easy to control.
John was very helpful and locals very friendly.
The upstairs (top-floor) bedrooms would benefit from velux window blinds or curtains but John said he would be sorting these.
WiFi occasionally limited-improved after switching off then on.
A couple of hooks would be handy on the back of the showerroom door.
