Friendly staff but very noisy, no AC and small cramped rooms.

The staff were very welcoming, which helped after a long day in London on the hottest day of the year. The location was perfect for visiting my work's office, as well as being able to unwind for dinner and a drink nearby.

Whilst it may be my own fault for not checking, I was disappointed to find that there was no AC available within the room, which meant having to have the window open to try cool the room down. Having the window open then meant that the significant amount of traffic noise late in to the night, combined with loud deliveries starting from around 4:30 in the morning meant that it was a very broken night of sleep, in a hot and uncomfortable room. The general cleanliness was ok, however there was no hand soap, a lot of surfaces could've done with being dusted down and the room in general was very cramped with about a foot of space between the foot of the bed and the end of the room, the wardrobe doors couldn't fully open due to hitting the bed and the bathroom door and shower screen also hit each other if open due to the small space. Even for a third of the price, I wouldn't stay again in summer and in general I would probably avoid this hotel in the future.

Decent rooms, unprofessional staff

Emergency booking at this hotel after another chain hotel overbooked and cancelled my room at 9.30pm. It’s very well presented externally and room was large for London and comfortable.

Reception team were very giggly and unprofessional. There was lots of side talk in another language when I had 30 seconds difficulty with the iPad check in. My room was on the ground floor, street level with a huge unlockable window which made me uncomfortable. I went back to reception to ask for an alternative and again, rude, laughing, eye rolling. I did get another room but difficult not to be put off by the staff reaction. I didn’t plan to stay in this hotel and wouldn’t visit again.

A great hotel in a fantastic location. We would not hesitate to return next time we are in London.

We arrived very early which was no issue to reception we were able to check in and get all the paperwork done but pick up room keys later which is what we expected. The staff throughout were very polite and helpful a credit to the hotel. Our room was very clean as were all the communal areas. The hotel really could not be better positioned as far enough out of town to provide for a quiet night but close enough to only be a 20 minute walk from the West End shows and shopping areas.

Our room (403) on the top floor was small but that is fine for a short stay, As mentioned on departure and not something you would expect even management to be aware of unless comments have been made was the bathroom layout. It was very difficult to sit on the toilet due to a lack leg room, if only the designer had turned it 90 degrees there would be no problem.

Kylpyhuone oli oikein siisti ja viihtyisä.

Hotellin siivooja oli jättänyt hotellihuoneemme oven auki siivouksen jälkeen. Huoneemme ovi oli ollut siis useita tunteja auki!!! Onneksemme mitään ei oltu viety. Ehkä siksi, että huoneemme oli vähän nurkan takana, että sinne ei suoraan portaikosta/hissiltä nähnyt. Respaan ilmoitin asiasta, mutta eivät edes pahoitelleet. Lupasivat tutkia asian ja palata, vaan eivätpä palanneet. Kun kysyin itse asiasta uudestaan, sain vastaukseksi, että siivooja sanoo laittaneensa oven kiinni ja minulta kysyttiin, olenko varma, että ovi oli muka auki. Vaadin edelleen tähän vastausta ja taas ovat luvanneet palata, mutta mitään ei ole kuulunut. Siivous ei ollut muutenkaan priimaa. Kylpyhuone oli siisti, mutta esim. sängyn taakse oli jäänyt edellisiltä (?) majoittujilta tavaraa.

Superb location

Clean. Great location. Modern.

Room slightly on the small side but as expected in London hotels. Room was hot on arrival but opened window which sorted the problem. No air-conditioning so would get hot in the summer.

Not the cleanest of hotels and outdated for a 4 star. Housekeeping did not clean the entire room everyday.

A beautiful period hotel, with a gorgeous feel and nicely decorated. It felt luxurious

Furnishings were gorgeous, and the style was lovely. The location is perfect for us. Staff helpful.

There was a fault with the lift on arrival so we had to carry cases up 2 floors which wasn't ideal. Room was smaller than expected but it was cosy .

Pleasant and clean, easy to reach and with excellent quality/price ratio

It is in the heart of London and near Oxford Circus/Green Park Tube stations that offer you a chance tyo reach everything in London. There are nice restaurants around.

Great location, great value.

The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was a single room but was a perfect size for the evening. Although it was a Saturday night and my room was opposite a bar/restaurant I still felt it was quiet. Breakfast was fine, I only hand continental. Overall stay was very good!

Adequate but unlikely to stay again.

The staff were great, very helpful and friendly.

The maintenance of the properly wasn’t great. The property was clean but it needs investment and refurbishing. Scuffed paintwork, scuffed and patched wallpaper. Room was cold and we had to fiddle with the radiator to get it switched on. Bed was okay, but two singles pushed together.I just needs modernisation.

need to be near the Langham Hotel 5* so it did the job. Not a comfortable sleep unfortunately

great location lovely and helpful staff lovely new bathroom

the beds are rock hard with no give!!!! walls are thin !!! could hear family next door at 5.30am getting ready which was so annoying party going on in restaurant next door until 1.30am!!
