Agradable y práctico

La cercanía del hotel al centro histórico de la ciudad y de la recogida del auto que arrendamos (se puede ir caminando con las maletas hasta el lugar de la recogida del auto a arrendar: Q-PARK Omni)

Petit hôtel à proximité de la gare

Petit hôtel facilement accessible et à proximité de la gare de Waverley

Bon petit-déjeuner mais la salle à manger manque beaucoup de charme Accueil standard. Oubli de confirmation d’email. Ne pas avoir été aidée par le réceptionniste, un jeune homme d’une vingtaine d’année, à amener ma valise à roulette jusqu’à ma chambre d’hôtel alors que je le lui ai demandé en raison d’un mal de bras.

La chambre avait une belle vue sur la ville, la proximité était top pour tout faire à pieds. Les chambres étaient confortable et d'une bonne taille. Les équipements (baignoire) appréciables après une journée de marche

A real find. Loved the place.

The location is perfect. Off the beaten track yet within minutes of the station.

Its steep climb up on slippery cobbles are in fact a bonus!

Top quality couple stay in Edinburgh next to all attractions, train station and places to eat

Everything was perfect and top quality. Breakfast is succulent, the hotel is a few blocks away from Waverley train station and the old part of the City and is surrounded with places to eat. Would definitely stay again if we come back.

Everything was perfect but if I have to comment on anything negative, irrelevant to us but could be something to take into account for an older couple, if you are traveling with heavy luggage and more than one bag/suitcase per person, you should ask beforehand upon reservation to accommodate you in a room that is close to the entrance to avoid carrying them across long corridors. The hotel should find a decent solution as they are very considerate

We will definitely book again when we next return to Edinburgh!

The location is perfect- close to all the attractions but tucked away out of the hubbub. It was delightful to be at the base of Calton Hill - many great walks!

As we arrived by train, there was nothing to dislike. If you have a car, parking might be a challenge, but the discounted lot that they recommend is not too far away.

入住的房间浴缸漏水，虽然跟前台沟通后马上换了房间，但是搬房间也很麻烦。房间居然不能电梯直达，转弯楼梯也很小，对搬大件行李的客人很不方便。

Nice, but somewhat disappointing

Great central location, close to bus tours, airport bus etc, in city centre. I booked it for comfort and classic look. Gorgeous wet room bathroom, very clean. Great lighting, but you can't switch it off from one side.

The mattress was all foam, that swallows you, no firm support for the body.The sofa was a sofa bed, slanty low cushions.The armchair was hard, as was alk the seating in the foyer. Tartan scstter cushions not necessary, please focus on getting supportive mattresses,dump those cheap foam ones! All the dark wood was heavy, the desk chair was very old. Breakfast costs 18.50 extra, so the room is not as cheap as you think.

Perfect

Its location is great, it’s quiet and has a lovely traditional look. It’s comfortable and clean and the staff are so helpful. We only stay here on visits and we come around 3 times a year. We highly recommend this hotel.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. All information about the hotel and services explained on arrival. Very clean and comfortable room and a short walk to lots of places of interest.

Lovely hotel but don’t book the twin room if separate beds needed.

Excellant location, beautiful rooms

My friend and I booked a twin room however the two single beds were pushed together. Although each bed had separate duvets, the only blanket was laid across both beds. We were able to separate the beds slightly but was limited due to the bed side furniture. If you book a twin room, you expect two separate beds with separate bedding. If both of us had needed the blanket, we would have had to push both beds together. Luckily we are good friends otherwise it could have been very awkward.

Perfect hotel in the perfect location.

From entering to leaving this is a wonderful hotel. The reception staff were brilliant. The rooms were beautiful and the bathrooms perfect. Says 3 star it is more like a 5 star.

Agradable Instalaciones en inmejorable Ubicacion.

Ubicacion Fantastica , a 5 minutos de la Estacion de Waverly y 15 minutos caminando de Royal Mille. El hotel acogedor prolijamente decorado, habitacion amplia , con todo lo necesario. Personal super amable , hotel con accesibilidad y ascensor. Resumo , un agradable hotel con estilo Escoces bien ubicado.

Very comfortable room in prime spot

It looks old-fashioned at first glance, but that's a good thing. Quirky building with very good quality rooms, and the location is perfect--doorway feels like a secret club entrance hidden from the busy street. Lavish pastel plaid fabrics everywhere in the room, and the bathroom tiles were cute and modern. Nice soaps and thoughtful touch of chilled milk in the fridge for coffee. Desk and wifi were good so I could do a little work before wandering the city from this well-located base. Very comfortable if you don't need or want a hyper-modern hotel, but like an attractive room. I would absolutely return.

Good quality 3 star hotel in a good location

The staff were friendly and helpful. Clean room, good shower, comfortable bed. The location was perfect. Lovely area at the reception area where you could have a drink and sit by the fire. We asked for a late checkout but they said if we didn't want to pay for that there was somewhere we could store our luggage which we made use of. Saved us £35.

There could be have been more choice for the continental breakfast but it was nice. My husband thought the full breakfast could have had more sausages and bacon than one of each. Saying that he asked for extra the next time and he got it. My French toast was lovely though.

O hotel é sensacional. Tive um ótimo atendimento e privacidade do começo ao fim da minha estadia. O quarto em si é muito confortável e possui boas instalações.

Minhas únicas ressalvas são que o quarto não é bem localizado. As janelas não possuía vista agradável e a iluminação de alguns abajures era atrelada a iluminação do teto.

Would stay here again.

Room was comfortable and the bathroom was big enough. More air flow like ac would have been nice, but we were able to open the windows a bit. The bed was quite comfortable. Front lobby was very cozy.

Our room was a bit difficult to reach but doable.

I like the Scottish interior very much and staff there were super nice and kind. Highly recommended.

I was in a rash so didn't have time to have a proper breakfast at the hotel which is a shame.
