This hotel is as many reviews described: a bit dated in terms of the rooms and their facilities, but with a beautiful garden, good parking, and a nice spa and pool. The thing I really wanted to mention is the staff at the check-out and check-in - I unfortunately didn't get her name, but she was so nice and welcoming, and helped move our luggage. Such service only seems to be found in another time long, long ago. It was truly impressive!
See above. The rooms are rather dated and the whole annex building where most of the rooms are feels run-down. The breakfast is a bit clunky with one having to order most hot things, but overall good.

The whole experience was marvelous. From arrival to checkout staff was there to greet you, give recommendations or help with bags. Rooms were immaculate and the thermal spa was absolutely wonderful. Food at the restaurant was excellent as well. Would love to come back in the future! 10 out of 10 would recommend.

restaurant menu , very uninteresting, food bland .

Excellent venue for a friends wedding. Nice distance to walk to Douglas village. Excellent meal the night before. Spa relly made the weekend.
Wedding venue pretty draughty. Duty staff adjusted aircon for a short while. Quite a few ladies wearing coats during dinner should have given sufficient clues.

Friendly staff
Staff were not that well trained in the restaurant at dinner and breakfast. walked past the table with empty plates needing removed. Were not proactive.
5.0
Great staff, very professional, stunning accommodation and surrounding area. Staff accommodated my early check in and bar/restaurant staff were excellent. I stayed on my own for the night but staff chatted to me, kept checking if I was ok- specifically would like to mention Conor from the restaurant/bar who was very kind and professional, Johannes from reception and Finn who looked after me at breakfast.

Head waiter and other staff. Friendly service. Main historical building and the gardens.
Ashtrays overflowing with cigarette butts in the smoking area in the morning. Rubbish in the bushes alongside the exit road and the main gate.
