We had a wonderful time at this home for our daughter’s 20th birthday. Luckily we had understanding guests when it came to sleeping arrangements.
The Cons:
1. I had previously read some reviews about the futons not being ideal and thought it was just perspective. However, the futons were definitely not usable for sleeping…When laid out they are maybe 3 inches off the ground. So those were eliminated as options. The king size bed off of the game room, has a low spot in the left side so makes for an interesting sleeping arrangements.
2. Parking - plan ahead! The driveway is long and narrow that ends in a ball shaped spot. The owner had communicated about boat parking so we were prepared for that. However, we had to be strategic in parking for those staying and those only there for the day.
Pros:
1. Well furnished! We had everything we needed to cook with and more!
2. Plenty of water toys!
3. Great pier and dock!

Rented this location for our family reunion. Beautiful home, great location! Communication with the owner was exceptional!! There is a perfect swimming area next to the boat dock where the kids could swim and we adults could sit in the shade and still watch them from the dock. The house had everything we could need for cooking and everything is perfectly labeled with check out instructions easily available when we were ready to leave. If I could give Morgan and Kyle (the manager and host) 6 stars, I would. They were so kind helping me even before we got there with allowing me to change the date, not once but twice. Just so friendly. The house is great! We had 10 boys (14yo) and 7 adults for a bday weekend just this weekend and another large family vacation here a few years ago too. We had a great time both times. Nice location on the water too. The basement has a master bedroom with bathroom and there’s a game room attached. With 10 boys age 14, this was a perfect hangout. They stay up late and play pool, darts and go out and fish on the dock right out the back door of the basement. The parents on main floor and second floor aren’t disturbed and get great rest. Coffee on the covered balcony in the morning… and on and on. Check it out, you’ll LOVE it!

The house works great for a big group but is bit exaggerated on its sleeping space. Many of the listed spaces are actually just fold out chairs, not even futons. These are not functional for a normal adult to sleep on and very uncomfortable.

Clean and well-appointed property. We had a large group, but there were plenty of towels, lots of silverware and cookware, toilet paper, etc., which isn't always the case for a large rental. We also had multiple cars (7) and boat trailers, and the parking situation was excellent. The cleanliness was beyond reproach, which is again one of our most important qualifications for a rental.
This is definitely a five-star rental; however, there are a couple of things to note. Poison ivy is growing all around the hot tub area and needs to remedied quickly, as some of our crew had allergic reactions.
Also, we planned to put our four teenagers on the futons listed in the game room. We were unable to comfortably sleep the four boys, who are all about 6 ft tall, on the chair-futons, so they ended up on the couches and bunking with some of the adults. I would call the futons best for little children.
Nevertheless, we would definitely stay here again and were quite satisfied overall with the experience. Thank you to the owners and the host!

We had a funtastic time staying in this home. We have stayed in many VRBO homes. Without a doubt this home was the most organized. We so appreciated the cleanliness, the guidebook to the house and the area, the amenities which includes all of the things we needed but forgot at home, the cleaning expectations and rules, and the added touches like being able to check in early on the arrival date and the CHRISTMAS tree. The entire 4 days were very peaceful and joyful. While our family of 10 staying in the house had plenty of room to spread out, it was also very accommodating to our extended family of 24 for carols, games and one meal a day. The open, warm family room was perfect for all of our inclusive activities. We are hoping this home will be available the next time we come to Cedar Creek.

The property was gorgeous and had everything we needed. Everything was very clearly communicated as far as check-in/check-out and all the amenities. We especially loved the kayaks, hot tub, and pool table. Plenty of rooms for everyone to sleep and hang out. Overall a super great experience! The house was well equipped with indoor and outdoor entertainment areas for large groups, which made it a super fun spot to relax with our family and friends. They even had a shed full of water toys too, which was such a plus on top of everything else. 10/10 recommend and we’ll definitely be back!

Every year my cousins and I have a reunion weekend. This year there were a total of 20 people. There was more than enough room for all of us and tons of fun to be had at this property. The property manager was very quick to respond to any questions with great detail, even going as far to call and discuss some things to make sure that everything worked out just how we needed it to. We look forward to hopefully renting from them again in the future.

We had a wonderful time. Large family room/dining/kitchen and deck was well suited for family gatherings. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of sleeping arrangements. Futons throughout the house are perfect for kids. We spent a lot of time in the water. House is located in a small cove; no through traffic. Boat dock was perfect for swimming. Plenty of water toys; water guns, kick boards, floats and life vests. Large 'lily pad' was great to gather around and relax on. Overall, a great time.

Awesome place!!
Morgan was super attentive and responsive. We rented this place for a weekend to use it for our after wedding party. The place looks even better than the pictures. So spacious, beautiful lake view, clean. We had my and my husbands family (23 people) and we fitted great. My family played pool, floated in the lake, watched the sun set. Our family is already planning to rent this place for other occasions. Thank you so much Morgan, you have an amazing place! We sure will be back!

The property manager, Morgan, is outstanding. Very prompt, pleasant to work with, accommodating. Without him, the rating would have been a 1/5 .He allowed us to check-out 2 hours late (though the default check-out time of 10 AM is a bit excessive), gave us a discount on the cleaning fees due to the condition of the house, when we came in (more details below). Overall, the owners are lucky to have such a nice property manager Misses:1. The house was not clean. Doesn't look the house was properly cleaned after the last occupants left. The living room was not swept properly, the kitchen floor was sticky and worst of all, we found some used underwear and clothes from prior occupants lying around in the bedrooms. After complaining, the property manager arranged for light cleaning while we were there, but this is something that should have been taken care of. If I cannot trust that used clothing had not been removed, I have to wonder what else was not cleaned properly. The property manager gave a discount on the cleaning fees, but still a big miss 2. The house looks smaller than what it looks like in the pictures. Also the number of beds was accurate, but the way they were arranged does not leave room for privacy if there are more adults than kids. Also the living room is over-crowded with a lot of stuff which leaves very little room for movement 3. The pricing was a bit too high, esp given the size and condition of the house. I would have expected the house to be more polished for such a price. This property has definitely aged quite a bit

Also, you may find it helpful to know that most of the lawn area is sloping. We took croquet and badminton, but there was not a large enough level area to support that.
We did take the kayaks out, and that was fun. We used the hot tub several times and the fire pit. And, we caught several fish off the dock.
We enjoyed our stay, but it should be noted that the house needs some repairs. The screened in porch needs to have the floor fixed. It is a tripping hazard to get out the door. One of the doors off that porch needs to be replaced. The chain link fence is leaning. I was able to take my dogs but always had to have my eye on them since they could have escaped from the back yard. The wifi was very slow, and if you don’t have Roku, you may find the TV challenging.
The owner was very nice and accommodating, and the manager was very quick to help us with one small issue. We had a great time; this house just needs some TLC.

Ladies weekend
It was perfect for a large group. It has a beautiful view. There is plenty of pots and pans and utensils for cooking. Because it is a lake house there were some mosquitos but we were prepared. The place does get a little warm in the afternoon but we they are plenty of fans to move air around and most of us were in the lake so it didn’t matter. Overall it’s a great place to stay. Bring washcloths and hand towels everything else is provided.

Nice location and Communication with property management I give 5 star for those. Besides that, the house had many problems- #1 house isn't insulated well so each room has portable AC, so got really noisy and hot during the day. Couple bathroom didn't have proper locks. One bathroom got so hot as portable AC was blowing hot air inside itself. Outside porch is filled with Spider webs. Carpets too dirty. Too many rules during checkout in the name of Covid-19: had to do laundry, switch off AC for each rooms etc etc. Doesn't make sense of paying for cleaning fee.

Great Lake House
The photos online are definitely misleading size-wise. However we still had fun with 17 adults. Not a lot of yard space but we made it work. Hot tub worked great and there was plenty of parking. Check out rules are quite extensive so make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to get it all done Sunday before you leave.
