About this house rental

REALLY IMPORTANT NOTE: send an inquiry not a booking. We want to talk to the people first and make sure the house is right for them. Parties, boys weekends away etc get cancelled when we find out. That’s why we have the high cancellation rate. Family gatherings, family weekends away, etc will be approved as this is in a family area. Also everything in this house is good quality. It’s not full of cheap bunnings and Kmart supplies. Therefore you pay a bit extra.

This an absolute waterfront home with your own jetty on on the beautiful Lake Macquarie. The house is modern, has a huge entertaining veranda and can sleep up to 15 people.

There are 3 bathrooms including 1 ensuite for the master bedroom. The home has two large lounge areas and a dining area that can seat 10.

The dining area opens out to the veranda that has a BBQ for your convenience as well as a beautiful outdoor setting which has a dining table that can sit 9 plus the matching furniture with table to seat another 4.
The property provides 2 single kayaks, a double kayak and a tinny for use by our guests. There are also a few bikes to ride around the foreshore. We have our own pontoon that can be used as well . . dont the kids love that!
At the waterfront, there is a resort style cabana bed and fold away chairs in the boat shed. Two rollout sun beds are under the house.

The house has its own private jetty with the house being on deep waterfront off the end of the jetty so making it possible to dive off of. Great swimming all warm months.
Only 9 Klm's from Toronto and a two minute drive to the lovely cafe's at Wangi plus many other shops including a large IGA.

The Wangi working club and the Wangi RSL are also here, so eating out or relaxing with a few drinks whilst watching the yacht races are right there for you. Plenty of great Cafe's and take away food places.
This is a beautiful house on a beautiful block that is absolute waterfront. You won't be disappointed.
NO PARTIES ALLOWED WITHOUT PRIOR CONSENT - This is a quiet neighbourhood with small children and should not be used by anyone with a party/bucks/hens night in mind. Noise restrictions are enforced and loss of bond will occur.

BEDDING CONFIGURATION
TOP LEVEL
Main bedroom King bed plus ensuite. A sofa bed is also in the room. In total sleeps 4
2nd bathroom with bath
2nd bedroom with double bunk bed. sleeps 4
MIDDLE LEVEL
3rd bedroom with a queen bed and double bunck. Sleeps 4
Open office next to the third bedroom has a couch that coverts to a double bed. Privacy screens can be used for privacy and partially close off. It works well but is not a fully enclosed bedroom.
BOTTOM LEVEL (MAIN LEVEL)
There is a TV room with a couch that coverts to a double bed. Very comfortable. Privacy screens can also be used to partially close off. These work well for the bigger groups. We use them when we have the whole family and friends visit and find them great. There is also the main bathroom off the TV room.
The main living areas are around the corner where the kitchen lounge dining and outdoor entertaining areas are, all facing the lake.

Multiple issues including Beds 1 & 2 TVs not working, air conditioner in older section not working, fridge & freezer full of someone else's food, kitchen tap very loose, pantry full and no working light, prescription medication in bed 1 side table, built-ins full of clothes. Felt like someone was living there. Definitely overpriced

Lots to do for teenagers at the house with fishing, kayaking and ping pong. Waterfront and own jetty is amazing. House is well set up with everything you need.

We had a great time on the lake with plenty of activity options. Everything we needed was available and it had a calm and relaxing outlook onto the lake. Our three families enjoyed our stay immensely.

We had an amazing time staying in Adam's house on Lake Macquarie. The house has 3 main bed rooms and plenty of beds to sleep our group of 9 very comfortably with a bed each. The kitchen was large and well equipped, and the large balcony makes for a great entertaining space in summer. The view is amazing to wake up to in the morning especially when you decide to go for an early morning dip in the lake. House was very clean and had no signs of dog hair as another reviewer had mentioned.

This is our second time using this property and it certainly does not disappoint. All the facilities available are excellent. Its one of those properties and locations, where all your troubles are forgotten and you are transcended into a relaxed environment. We did not want to leave. Cannot wait to use this property again, highly recommended.

We 3 families celebrated our Chinese New Year there, plenty living and dining area to let dinner and BBQ just like at home. Big yard is nice , my daughter played balls there. Also we really love the kayak and spent a lot of time in the water.

The property offered everything we could want for a great holiday. It was secure, clean, had great facilities both indoor and out, comfortable beds and furniture, and everything was of the highest standard. We would recommend this as a great place for family holidays. ( the date will not allow me to state Jan 2018)

The property was fantastic and worked really well for our family with grown up kids. Plenty of space for all but especially wonderful was the main living area and deck overlooking the lake. We recently rented this fantastic lakeside property for our business team building and innovation weekend. The facilities are fantastic and very well maintained. Perfect surroundings for a weekend of team building! Property is close to some excellent food and restaurant options.

Just returned from this fabulous Lake House. We had 3 family’s fit comfortably in this house right on the lake. Lots of room with huge balcony for lunches & dinners. Adam provided everything you could need in the kitchen for cooking, games, Foxtel & also included kayaks that we took full advantage of. Great spot to bring your boat and take advantage of Lake Macquarie. We all had a fantastic time. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice relaxing holiday.
