Could do with a better cooker

The view was incredible. The owners gave a brilliant list of things to do in the area, so even despite the bad weather we were still kept very busy! The room was really cute and had everything we needed for our stay.
The owners were really lovely and even posted back a phone that we accidentally left in the room.
We'd definitely stay here again.
The guests upstairs were quite noisy and had a dog that ran around all night, so I'd recommend earplugs if you're a light sleeper and in one of the downstairs cottages.

The location is amazing. 100% recommended anyone thinking of visiting South Wales to stay. Its very central to most tourist attractions, great views from the cottage, amazing that they let my cat and dog stay. A holiday Ill never forget.

Location & views are great. It is very quiet & has got a homely feel.
Water was leaking from the upstairs bathroom to the kitchen downstairs.

Bed frame could be a bit bigger. Other than that it was perfect, highly recommend

beautiful south-facing setting, looking over the valley. somewhere to sit and eat outside in the sun. Nice sound of spring water outside back window. Comfy bed.
Kettle switch wouldn’t stay down on its own. Shower head wouldn’t stay in place so I had to hold it in one hand. my husband fixed it for his shower, by tightening it up. Not easy to get correct temperature on shower without scalding. I think there ought to be a control feature to stop that. Quilt cover had a cigarette burn right where my face would touch it. Rather tight to move around the bed and settee to get to bathroom. Light hanging down on its wire in mini kitchen unit.

The location and view are fantastic. It was full of character. Amenities for the price is exceptional (even had bike storage, outside social area). The microwave, hob and fridge helped make dinners and breakfast easy.
The shower could do with some parts replacing. The bed felt like it was sloping. Whilst mostly clean, there were cobwebs around and there were some marks on the bedding.

The location was amazing as well as the views the staff where friendly but unfortunately not very helpful I was unable to get a taxi from the train station when I phoned the property there was no help at all
No amenities at all the only exercise equipment was a bike there where no games and activities as advertised on your website

Relaxed atmosphere, dog friendly and cosy. We asked to stay another night as we enjoyed it so much.
Balcony could have done with a gate to stop the dog running around but that's the only thing I can think of!

An absolutely stunning setting overlooking the valley below. The accomodation is full of character with a lovely patio and spiral stairs up to the bedroom and a comfortable sofa with a log burner to warm the soul and those tired limbs after a day's walking. There is a beautiful patio outside which is perfect for breakfast. This really is a cosy home from home. There are plenty of walks just outside the cottages up the hillside and along an old railway track that leads to a local pub. There is a wealth of information about the area in folders and the owners are extremely friendly and more than happy to share their local knowledge. There are excellent laundry facilities to wash and dry those walking clothes. Perfectly placed for trips to the Brecon Beacons. We will definitely be back.
Everything was perfect.

We stayed in Gwyn - great little kitchen and powerful shower. Thanks for the umbrellas and torch and plenty of good books in supply. Friendly hosts.
Uncomfy springs in mattress and quite chilly at night but Richard provided an electric heater which was great. Would be great to replace bedside tables with ones with drawers so there was some storage.

Excellent location looking over the town below. Stone effect property with decent bedding
We didn't know how to heat up the property but didn't want to bother the hosts as we arrived late and only stayed for a day

Very cosy and comfortable very much an air b@b situation
Rather a double bed but that's my preference upstairs was quite noisy as I think it has a wooden floor heard alot of feet was unsure about key situation when leaving owners didn't answer but did enjoy my stay was a bit confused why I was charged 15 pounds for a house cat when it was pet friendly and next door had lots of dogs but all the same enjoyed it.

We have stayed many times and always enjoyed our stay. Ideal location for us.
The cleanliness was not great this time, there were cob web everywhere and dust, we had to clean the fire before using it.
we asked for a double but got a twin (not an issue) but one off the mattresses were that thin you could feel the springs coming through.
the wind was that bad you could here the howling through the windows ( very bad)
Sorry but this experience was that off-putting, we will not be returning

Use of the log burner, and having the full kitchen facilities to whip up some tasty food each evening and morning. There was a great charm to the cottage with flagstone flooring and underfloor heating.
The cottage roof needs a little attention to stop a small leak down the end wall. Twin beds rather than one bed for the two of us.

This was our second time staying here and we liked the view, the scenery, the quiet, its all just lovely there and fantastic value for money. We would highly recommend to anyone staying here if you love the quiet, the old feel of the cottages and the beautiful welsh scenery and the locals are all lovely and friendly too
the cottages can get a little chilly of a night time, but it is to be expected this time of year and with the stone construction of the cottages, wouldn't change anything though and its not really a negative, just be prepared in the winter months to take an extra blanket as with any cottage the chill may find you, still though I would like to point out again, I don't really say it as a negative, its just more for anyone to be prepared for

All was clean, comfortable, cosy and wholly adequate for our needs. Peaceful location. Parking good. View stunning as the sun when down and also after dark
We should like to express our appreciation.
Thank you for having us.
Slight negatives we couldn't tune TV, admittedly we didn't seek help as our need to watch TV was relatively insignificant.
The noise from people walking and moving chairs in the room above is quite disturbing especially at 6am.
Our stay was two nights and our days out were full. Therefore these slight negatives did not detract from our stay. We would book again, the positives for us far outweighed any negatives.
