Lovely grounds and friendly staff. A large choice of food for breakfast.
Just thought the furniture looked a bit shabby in some areas and the bedroom needed to be updated.

The room was beautiful. The outdoor spaces and patios were lovely, made better by the amazing weather.
We were kept awake until 2am on the first night due to a function at the hotel with loud music right outside our room, and 5am on the second night due to people in the next door room having a party!!! I was travelling with my 3 year old daughter who was good as gold. I asked for a Cott to be put in the room incase the bed was high. The hotel emailed me to tell me that they would put a cot in the room but they didn’t. The reception team were not amazing, didn’t ask me how my stay was, just seemed in a rush every time I went to speak to them. I emailed the hotel after to tell them that we had no sleep due to the noise. We complained at 4am about the noise. In the morning no one asked us if we were ok. There was one very efficient waiter on the Sunday morning, apart from that the staff were a bit rude. We paid over £500 for two nights for 1 adult and 1 3 year old, and got no sleep.

The only thing I liked about the property was the grounds were well maintained.
The room was not air conditioned, there was no tissue box in the bathroom. There should have been toothbrush with toothpaste and a shaving kit which many of the Marriot hotels provide. The room had a very tired look. You definitely need to upgrade the rooms. When we rang to ask if breakfast was included in the room rate, we were told that it was. However when we went down to breakfast we were told we would have to pay by a rather obnoxious gentleman. This contradiction leaves a very sour taste not that it was a huge amount we had to pay, but your staff needs to get their act together. On checkout there were only 2 receptionists who were attending to one guest, while I and the others had to wait.
The only member of staff I can say was EXCELLENT was Lawrenzio the gentleman who dropped us and picked us up in the buggy.

Lovely hotel , breakfast was lovely and the spa was nice too
They threw away my wedding cake :( the man on reception offered to put it in the fridge for us but didn’t label it so the next day the kitchen staff binned it

The staff are fantastic! Nothing was too much for them. They supported my elderly parents, with finding them accessible accommodation and transport. The breakfast was excellent and service was brilliant.
The location is beautiful. Very peaceful and clean. The facilities were good and the building was fantastic.

Went for a spa gateway. Really nice hotel, the building is beautiful and so are the grounds and garden. The staff is very nice and friendly and the restaurant and spa are great.
There could be Netflix available on the TVs in the bedroom.

Lovely hotel,I stayed overnight for a spa break. It's in a quite peaceful location with 2 restaurants on site and a relaxing spa. The service and welcome from William was outstanding, providing all the information you need and providing a very warm welcome.

Lovely swimming pool! Beautiful hotel and grounds. So child friendly. Staff exceptional... Rohan at breakfast has an eagle eye and manages everything so effortlessly and makes everyone feel like they're the most important guest there. You're not rushed like at some hotel breakfasts. Candice (or was it calice) was always so friendly and efficient. Cleaning staff... Everyone really... Lovely. Forgot the name is the ladies who served us dinner and the dinner manager but they were all lovely too
Not much choice for kids lunch and dinner. Just one kids menus with only three mains. When you're having lunch and dinner and staying three nights, can get boring

Beautiful settings
Looks a bit “tired”, specially the bedroom bathrooms need better cleaning, towels with holes, lots of dust/hairs in towel rail…

Lovely spa and pool facilities. Lots to do near by for families. Great breakfast. Fabulous dinner (if a little pricey!)
Sleeping arrangements. 2 double beds - would prefer 1 double, a single and z-bed.

Breakfast was lovely & staff were attentive to every need.
I had requested on my booking for a walk in shower due to a mobility issue
Not only did I not receive this small request !
I was given a room with stairs leading to the room & MORE stairs to access the bathroom.
When I asked for another room it was walking distance from the main hotel. I did explain I had walking issues. So had to make do as they said they were full (on a Monday)

We had the premier room which was lovely and large with a 6 foot queen size bed and separate bathroom with double shower. It was very comfortable and had coffee in room and had been newly refurbished with new furniture. A very pleasant experience. The spa and swimming pool and sauna is an excellent addition to the hotel for use during the day.

A beautiful house, friendly & helpful staff, very good food.
Just the very long & a bit confusing walk to our room. Also the small number of lounge chairs by the pool.

Bad signage and was difficult to find places.

The breakfast was very good. A very wide range of choices on the buffet.
The staff are ask friendly and polite.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable.
The lounge area is nice and relaxing.
I had a pedicure treatment and the therapist (Emmie) was nice, professional and friendly.
All the staff at the establishment are friendly, helpful and professional.
The spa facilities need improvement. I came here 5 years ago and it has gone down since then.
The jacuzzi wasn't fully functioning. The relaxing loungers on the poolside need to be changed. Having fabric on poolside wet facilities isn't wise, as they're constantly wet.
The wall/painting is peeling of in places on the poolside. It's not pleasant to look at when relaxing and needs refurbishment. It didn't give me the full relaxation vibe.
The dinner menu is somewhat limited, but I enjoyed what I ordered.

Beautiful country manor set in amazing grounds. It has a lovely lounge area to relax in. We spent time there drinking tea and reading of an afternoon just relaxing.
The room we had was nice but it was very tired looking. The bathroom really needs an overhaul. There was mould on the sealant around the shower and the paintwork had seen better days. We had booked a twin room with two double beds (I was sharing the room with my Mum) and I asked via email if the room could be fairly close to reception as I am disabled and find walking distance difficult. However on arrival we were allocated a room behind reception but it had a king size bed which Mum and I had to share…the only other option was to be located a substantial distance from reception and the main areas of the hotel. We accepted the room as it seemed the easiest option but it was far from ideal.
Another little issue was that we were due to have some family come to the hotel for morning coffee with us in the lounge over the weekend so we asked whether it would be possible to pre order some pastries/biscuits to serve with our coffee. We were told this was not possible as there would be no pastry chef on duty… we felt this was something which, could have been organised as we asked over 24hrs in advance. Instead we cancelled and we went out for coffee elsewhere who could accommodate this. It was disappointing to say the least.

Breakfast was held in a lovely bright room with a beautiful view.
There was a good variety to choose from.
The serving area felt very organised and clean
Staff were readily available if you needed any help

Our overall stay was pleasant. The rooms were clean and well presented and the bed was very comfortable enabling us to get a good sleep. Access to the pool and Sauna was a nice addition and the breakfast was quite nice. It was my partners birthday and the hotel staff gave us a complimentary miniature bottle of Prosecco, sweets, balloon and a card which was very thoughtful.
Our room had very squeaky flooring boards so walking around the room was very noisy. The shower was a nightmare as the temperature was very difficult to adjust. We had to choose between cold or scorching hot which made for an unpleasant washing experience. The hotel is very big and finding our room was quite difficult to navigate around as the signage isn't very well discripted. At breakfast time we came to the lobby and was told at the reception that we could help ourselves to coffee, then breakfast and find a seat in the dinning area. We did just that we were met with a broken coffee machine. I approached a member of staff and told them the machine wasn't work and was totally dismissed and made to feel like I was burdening her with asking for help. She walked passed me and over to the coffee machine, took a look as if to confirm what I was saying was true and then walked off again without any information as to whether she was going to seek more help or that I should hold on for a sec whilst she investigated. So I had a closer look myself and realised the the machine needed to be reset. So I pressed the reset button and within the time of the reset the staff member came back and abruptly told me that she couldn't fix it and I would have to forgot about coffee and try fresh juice. I explained that I had fixed the problem and all that was need was to press reset and the machine was now working. With that she shrugged her shoulders and walked off to carry back on with what she was doing. We were made to feel like we wasn't supposed to be there and I had wasted her time. Now not that money is an issue but there is a level of service and quality in relations that should be a standard when you spend almost £500 for a 2 night stay and that wasn't what we got. We shrugged off the 1st rude encounter and processed to get breakfast. We helped ourselves to the buffet which was nicely presented and the preceeded to find a table.

This hotel is much bigger than I expected! Booked for my sisters 40th for me, my sister and my niece to have a spa night. It is perfect for this! Lovely cocktail bar, amazing breakfast with lots of Gluten Free options and the spa is great.
Spa and pool was very busy on the Saturday with lots of kids jumping around with pool noodles - I didn't expect this as I was told it was an adults only pool, but I guess this isn't the case.

The main hotel is a beautiful building. We had everything we needed. The spa on site was handy and lovely surroundings.
It would have been nice to go for a walk in the wonderful surroundings but it was restricted to golfers only which was a shame. The evening meal in the restaurant was very expensive.
