The owners philosophy is wonderful. There is a positive vibe about the whole property and all the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful.

Booking the room for a few days had a little concern as the place is located by the road. In fact , you don't hear the traffic from the room at all.
We have stayed in an apartment (separate kitchen & dining table). Clean & well equipped. Nice that aircon & electricity works also when you're not in the room. The view from the room was very nice.
Quiet are, very professional & naturally easy going staff (incl. kitchen, cleaning and field).
The pool area nicely maintained, quiet, plenty of shades and .. almost nobody there.
Just a lovely place worth nice people.
Just one thing - but noticed it was only in the room we have stayed - there was no window curtain in the bathroom - and it was on the way to the other room. Not big deal - covered with a hand towel, so really nothing to complain about.

This was the best place we stayed during our honeymoon. When arrived we already got a delicious glass of wine, got all the information we needed, and the staff was extreme helpful. During our stay Moritz and Manuela provided great information what we could do nearby. The pool had an absolutely amazing view and during one of the dinner nights the owner, Martin, was even there. Such a nice man who had several conversations with all of the guests in the restaurant. This is really a holiday to never forget!

Warm welcome by Manuela & Moritz upon arrival. They were also very helpful when I got ill and I was able to extend our stay. Wine tasting with Lorenzo was great too. Very interesting presentation combined with a lovely apèro.
All good..

Absolutely stunning location and loved the winery’s values. Lovely staff too. We paid for the wine tasting experience and would highly rate that, the guide was very knowledgeable and we tried lots of lovely wines.
We stayed beginning of Oct and were quite disappointed that the restaurant/bar was shut for the winter as this hadn’t been advertised on here, or on their website. The vineyard was very remote, so quite far from shops and any other restaurants. We knew this upon booking but as it was our honeymoon, we were looking forward to being wined and dined and not having to drive off in search of food and water etc. Such a shame as the rest of our stay was brilliant.

Beautiful and unique property in a little town away from your typical Tuscan experience. The vineyard is organic which was very interesting to us. The rose Prosecco and wine and meals were exceptional. All the staff were super friendly and it was a pleasure meeting the owner, Martin. We felt like family.
The rooms were super cool from a design perspective but there was very little storage space and they were a little noisy in that you could hear you neighbours. While to food was delicious, the menu did not vary.

Beautiful views, breathtaking actually.
Lovely simple fresh breakfast with more Beautiful views of Toscana.
Very nice wines.
And very friendly staff
The bed was very uncomfortable.
And the 5 course wine pairing dinner on Tuesday was not what we expected and they did even change the wine glasses. From pink to white to red and from seafood to meat with the same glass.
I had to ask them to change my glass as I could smell the seafood and not the wine.

It has taken me a few to days to write a review that does valdonica justice. words can’t express just how amazing the staff are, especially Manuela who is one in a million and an asset to Valdonica. Manuela went out of her way to help me with transfers and absolutely nothing was too much trouble, even greeted me with a cold bottle of rose named Coco which was fresh, chilled and most welcome under the Tuscan heat. I honestly can’t thank her enough. Martin the owner is incredibly friendly and more than happy to answer any questions about the incredible wine on offer. I enjoyed the Gourmet Dinner Event in the Oak Barrel-Cellar which was a four course meal with wine pairing, hosted by Martin himself. The food and wine pairing was exceptional. The passion that Martin exudes in his wines and wine making process makes it no coincidence that Gabriele Gorelli, a Master of wine selected BACIÒLO 2018 as the best Sangiovese of Maremma Toscana. a very well deserved accolade. As for the views in Valdonica, just look at the pictures. literally breathtaking and views that will never be forgotten. even the views from the very spacious and air conditioned rooms leave you speechless. I stayed in the Capo Pagiano room which was immaculate. the bathroom has exposed walls which adds to the character of the Tuscan lifestyle. I shall end this review by again thanking both Manuela and Martin for an unforgettable stay and an unforgettable lifetime memory in this little piece of heaven. good luck for your daughters wedding on Saturday and many years of happiness.

beautiful and modern, fantastic views, and lovely accommodating staff.
Room a little cold with concrete floor - complimentary slippers to go with robe would have been a nice touch. It was a shame the hotel restaurant was closed in the off season and limited restaurants open in local area.

The location, nature around, the swimming pool and the wines. It’s a beautiful place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful too.
The ventilation was bit noisy at night, felt in one of the two bedrooms. Wifi was very slow.

The staff was very friendly and tried to help where possible. I trust they will get there.
Nice swimming pool.
Unfortunately our stay was below expectations, especially for the price.
Airco sounded like a thunderstorm and didn’t cool the room. Shower went from hot to cold and lots of water to a few drips without touching. Quality of materials used in rooms (e.g. candy) was poor. Swimming pool not at main building. Main building next to street. We stayed in several hotels across Tuscany and breakfast here was below par, again for the price we expect a lot more.

Hotel was unique. Great view, beautiful area of Italy. Quiet location but easy drive to the beach or many Tuscan cities. Hotel is simple, but that is what makes it special. Staff was great and Martin (the owner) and his family were always around.
We had dinner at the property and wine pairing. We liked it and would do it again, but it can still improve.
