Schönes Weingut mit Blick auf Simonsberg

Weitläufiges Gut inmitten der Weinberge und mit Blick auf Simonsberg. Tolles Picknick, sehr freundliches Personal und gut ausgestattete Zimmer (Superior Zimmer).

Das Picknickareal sah etwas weniger gepflegt aus. Keine Gartenspiele. Der Pool könnte etwas größer sein, reicht allerdings zur Abkühlung.

Great place!

Beautiful accommodation and property. I had a lovely stay and would recommend the place (and I’ve stayed in many places close by). Really good value for money - you don’t need to book something more pricey in this area - this place is really lovely.

It was pouring with rain and there was absolutely no help to get to my car without getting drenched (and the walk was not sheltered. I also found the receptionist tactless after she asked what I had out of the mini bar (which I told her), she said “wait for us to go check the mini bar.” She repeated herself with the statement, a statement I’ve never heard before at any hotel. It’s a pity these “little” things make such an impression but think they could easily be turned around with some basic customer service training.

Overpriced but comfortable

The view at the venue was absolutely stunning. We also loved the old-style buildings, gardens and the overall vibe of the estate.

There was mould/rust on the walls from the shower - the floors in the room were dirty. The overall value for money wasn't there. It was an expensive stay that didn't really match up, unfortunately. Breakfast was also a bit disappointing - would have been nice to have more options and even a cappuccino instead of instant coffee.

Great place to relax and enjoy the wineyards

Super awesome place! great location, wines were amazing. we also got complementary wine tasting. the staffs were sweet and super helpful. clean and big rooms.

The venue is adorable. A fantastic view. A lovely wine cellar. The breakfast was fine. But we missed tea bags for two days and the stuff should better write the order down otherwise they forget too much.

A supervisor should check the rooms after cleaning. The room was definitly not clean.

Amazing place with beautiful views

The hotel is located between Stellenbosch & Franschoek and had amazing views on the mountains. The garden and swimming pool are really stunning. The room was very spacious, comfortable bed and big bathroom. Staff was really friendly and did their utmost to make my stay comfortable. There is a very relaxed atmosphere which makes you really able to rest and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

The aircon was slightly outdated and the remote didn’t work. Lunch menu was a bit limited.

The staff were great, went out of their way to help us. Were even able to accommodate our early arrival. As we had a wedding to attend down the road from them. Thank you for going the extra mile.

fantastic property, unfortunately didn’t get to experience it all

the property is beautiful and surrounded by majestic mountains. the staff are super friendly and engaging, always willing to help.

the inability to use the amazing property. we were not able to eat in the restaurant as it was booked by a wedding party.

Excellent, definitely a must visit!

We absolutely loved staying here. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Big bed. Went wine tasting outside under the lovely trees. Dinner at the restaurant is a MUST! Excellent food (Try the pork belly!!)

Wish we could have stayed longer. The jungle gym at the wine tasting needs some maintenance. Luckily there is a big play area at the picnic site to keep young ones busy while you can relax and eat/drink something.

Comfortable, luxurious and wonderful views and ambience.

Very nice and simple breakfast menu, everything we wanted with excellent service. They even had marmite! The dinner was superb, with delicious food, good wine and excellent service. We loved the well-appointed bedroom and bathroom. Clean and simple but with everything one needed easily accessible.

The only thing that could be improved is the lighting over the bathroom basins for wet shaving.
