Breakfast - loads of choice, and very good value.
I wish we'd known about it over the last 20 years when we have been travelling to and from France!

staff went above and beyond to assist us during our stay.
rooms were very hot and proximity to road meant that there was a lot of noise with windows open making it difficult to sleep.

Friendly & helpful staff, beautiful room with spotless bathroom. Dinner menu was good. Accessible car park at rear. Very good.
Only issue I had was with card payments. Kept declining my cards despite there being no issue at bank. But got there in the end as luckily had other cards with me.

Staff could not have been more helpful & friendly.
Location not pedestrian friendly, as no pavements or way of getting to Buckfastleigh without crossing dangerous busy road junctions.

Thought the staff were extremely friendly. The room (room 2) was very comfortable, but the lighting was dim and needs updating. Liked the on-wall television and the shower
Thought the reception area was far too small and untidy and did not give a good welcoming impression.

Very friendly Staff as soon as we walked in. Ryan was exceptionally helpful throughout our stay, he was brilliant. It was well situated and a lovely menu with a good selection of craft ales and wines.

5.8
The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly.
We were asked to pay on arrival when the amount had been taken already on 17th August. I had to prove that the payment had been made, they wanted me to pay again and assured me that it would be refunded if/when they received the payment from booking.com. This was unnecessary and embarrassing.
There was a strong smell of air freshener throughout the residential part of the hotel which was very unpleasant.
Breakfast was not included despite the charge of £120 for one night. We were then misled on the cost of breakfast, which was very poor quality.
I would not return.
