Location, common space with a kitchen and living room.
The kindness of the hosts ♥️
No air con on the room. The room was really hot and no air was going through even with the window and door open :(

Perfect place to stay in the Hakuba region. The guesthouse is a very good value for money. The room is clean and well equipped. The bathroom also very clean and the kitchen perfect if you wanr to cook something. Its located in Kamishiro, 10 minutes walk to the station and 5 minutes to the gondola station. The owner is very nice. Highly recommend.
That we had to leave.

This place looks like a fairytale! Every corner of the guesthouse is beautiful, I took so many pictures. The rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean and luxurious. The owners are so kind. Even though I don't speak Japanese, they made every effort to make me feel comfortable. I highly recommend reserving a meal with them. Their traditional Japanese breakfast was delicious and homemade. You also get to eat with the other guests so it's a great way to socialize. Wifi works well, plenty of hot water, and there's a convenience store around the corner. They also offer a free shuttle during check-in and check-out hours, so make sure to ask! Highly recommend this place, I want to come back in the winter!
Everything was wonderful! :)

Super cosy and clean. The room was pleasant and matched my needs perfectly. I could adjust the heater in my room myself which was nice. Kitchen was well equipped.
A bit far from the closest train station and conbini, around 15 min walk. Walking from the main road is slightly uphill so won't suit everyone.

It is not luxury hotel, but you fill like at home. Very friendly atmosphere.

We loved the community feel of the place. There was a kitchen and lounge which gave the place a nice homely vibe. The property is next to Kamui restaurant which is very convenient and we got a discount on food. The host was very helpful and the shuttle bus for escal plaza is just at St Marute/St Malte which is a hotel pretty much across the road. The bathroom has great hot water. It never ran out. Free coffee, cereal and milk was great and a kitchen for cooking. The washing machine (which is also a dryer) was excellent. We made great use of this. Heater in the room was excellent and the close line was very handy. internet was great.
The beds are a little hard in room 25 but overall it’s great value and not too bad if u don’t mind a firm bed.
If the bathroom had a heater so it’s not so cold getting in and out of the shower and somewhere to hang your towel / toiletry bag, it would be perfect.
At first when we checked in we opened the front door, which was the doorto the restaurant instead of the hostel. as the sign was covered in snow. the hostel is actually through the snow on the left and up the stairs- door on the left says wind inn hakuba. just go thru and ring the bell when checking inZ A better sign would be handy and save them a lot of hassle lol. poor chef who we annoyed.
If there was an Onsen and a vending machine it would be 10/10 however we were able to use Stelle Belle’s and St Marute/malte’s onsens which is just accross the road.. hot tip, using St maltes onsen saves the walk to Stelle Belle in the cold after relaxing. only 650 yen per onsen.
using the shuttle bus from st Marute saves the walk up the hill to escal plaza in the morning. we just walked back down at the end of the day. it’s a bit much in the morning with ur gear.

This guest house is run by a Japanese couple. This is our third times stayed , since 2015. Times go by , however the property have a well maintaining. Cozy , clean and neatly. New carpet , new bedsheets, new curtain and new design in the living room area . The property is connecting to a Japanese restaurant, we enjoyed our dinner here after a whole day skiing and snowboarding. For I. We absolutely enjoy our stayed in here and definitely come back again .

The best value for money. It's really close to the resort, but if you don't want to walk, the shuttle stop is just in front.

Location was great - hakuba goryu is walking distance, there are some small waterfall nearby, some restaurants/combini are not so far.
Cereals in the free breakfast were nice.
I am writing this review quite late so don't remember much details, but overall we (a group of friends) had a nice stay here. Hosts are welcoming and helpful.

What can i say. Had a amazing weekend and hakuba wind inn was part of it. Ended up forgetting the bloody walet in bedroom while having a blast at all this tree powder paradise. Anyway H. san, BC snowboarder, this legend gave me a call as friendly as can you get and let me
Know. Very warm atmosphere and whatnot . Very recommended!!

The location is good for Hakuba 47 you can even walk. There is free granola for breakfast.
It is far from a store so a little inconvenient without transport.

Quite close to Hakuba Goryu like 8min walk I think. Cheap accommodation considering I wanted to save money for buying ski pass and rent ski. Can get a cheaper lift pass (¥600 cheaper of not mistaken) from them and cheaper rental at Yamaha rental if we told them early. Overall the accommodation was good. A single room was quite big for me.

Not much guidance was available in terms of where to park and whether I should first unload my car.
Further there was not proper drying room. My boots were kept in cold room all night.
