Breakfast was OK and there was a good selection
Room needed re decorating. Gym was in a poor state especially the bench which I had to place a plate underneath as it was unsafe to lie on to exercise.
Wasn't to happy with gangs of immigrants hanging around outside at night l guessing they were staying in the britania hotel opposite. Likely to be harmless but if I was a woman on my own I wouldn't of felt safe.
Disappointed we had to pay to park on site being a hotel guest after paying to stay in the hotel, should be free for paying guests.

Location
I booked this hotel on booking.com as I wanted a junior suite with a single and double bed. The pictures on line were beautiful but in reality the hotel was unkempt, dull, dirty, and for the short time I was there the junior suite contained a large bed ,and a well used sofa bed( without mattress)- no single bed. The furniture was dirty, stained and marked, floor not clean.
Manager was unhelpful and rude. Staff charged customers £50 a night extra as a surcharge in case of breakages, saying it was in small print, but when booking .com advisor checked no evidence found.
I left this hotel the same day as I arrived, what I booked was not provided. Please see photographs.

The breakfast was really nice and the room was good size.
The carpet in the room.

This hotel was right beside the beach and a short walk into town. Also handy to the university when visiting family.
It was a little disorganised.
No remote for the television which we were promptly given a new one however the tv then didn’t work.
There were no towels until late the night we arrived which isn’t ideal, we were only supplied with 2 bath towels at this point no bath mat and no hand towels.
Only conditioner in the bathroom which was odd, no shampoo or shower gel.
Have to pay £50 on arrival in case you spend money at the hotel, which I found random but didn’t argue.

No es un lugar muy bueno
Las instalaciones muy viejas, camas malhechas, pobre sumonistro de elementos de aseo.

It was a decent looking hotel but the smell of the room was disgusting, smelt of damp and urine. The towels smelt of damp and it just disgusting how they allow this. To top it off blanket and bed sheet had stains!!!!!!
The bathroom, toilet, bedding the smell. It was horrible made me feel sick and the lift was dirty. So claustrophobic

Staff were very friendly and helpful and the dinner was one of the best burgers we have ever had. It was absolutely fantastic value for money and it tasted amazing. We honestly are considering just going to the hotel for dinner in future as the burger was so nice!
General cleanliness was pretty bad. I found lipstick on one of the mugs in the hotel room, eyeliner and dirt on the curtains and to top it off there were no towels in the room when we arrived which I only found out after I had a shower! After going to reception downstairs to ask for towels because they did not answer the phone the member of staff said "Oh yes we've had a shortage on towels" and there were other people waiting for towels as well!

The room junior suite was very nice and big with air con and have a balcony. The room is very nice looking, modern but balcony not really but that doesn’t matter to be honest. The hotel location is very good.
The breakfast was ok but could be better for that price to be honest. We weren’t very pleased with breakfast.
3.4
Very comfortable bed pillows were also comfy...spa was good...drinks at the bar were reasonably priced and variety good...chill area was nice...enjoy
Everything good

We stayed in a junior suite, it was a lovely room, spacious and with everything you need. The decor in the dining room included some funky pieces!
The lift was very old
3.4
Although there were a few little issues with our stay staff remedied it fairly quickly and provided a discount to compensate.
Shower over flowed and it took an hour for maintenance to come to the room to fix it.
3.4
Close to the beach, warm & kids friendly pool, lovely staff.
Water leak marks over the ceiling, bathroom window was screwed in (literally) so couldn’t open, overall the room is run down. They take your credit card details at check-in but still had to pay by card any extras upon checking out which is really odd.
3.4
The pool was a great asset even though it was really cold. Hot tub was . Great. Staff were very attentive and polite. Food was reasonably priced and very tasty. We were given an upgrade to a Junior Suite which was a real bonus. The room was perfect.
Could not find anything not to like.

The staff was amazing, very helpful people and really made me feel good in my weekend.
The food was great, their service for booking a table , very fast .
On check out , the staff kindly offer to call a taxi for me .
I would probably need to say the cleaning process wasn’t very efficient.
3.4
Nice room , beautifully clean , lovely staff .
All the hidden extras we had to pay for - maybe I’m old and didn’t read the small print properly , but breakfast& parking on site added on to our bill came as a bit of a surprise
3.4
breakfast was good, restaurant and lounge decor was gorgeous. good mix of spa facilities although it could do with modernising
the room was tiny and the window looked out to a fire escape/roof, there were people walking around, we couldn't leave the window open (for fresh air in the tiny room) for fear of someone or bird coming in
3.4
Room interior design was smart and tasteful
Paid parking

The location was super, lovely inside.
THE STAFF WERE AMAZING!!!
The swimming pool was lovely, although the jacuzzi didn’t work?
The bedroom decor was tired,
I am partially disabled, so had an accessible room. The bathroom sink was tiny, with no hot water, it was a wet room but the water didn’t drain properly, so had to use our towels to stop the water leaking into the bedroom!! There was no blind to the window, which I find embarrassing. Even though the window was frosted, you can still see the silhouette of the person.
The bed although comfortable came apart as there was a zip to join the mattresses. So as a disabled person, with a serious spinal issue, this was very painful.

Was lovely the whole experience

Very nice property with good spa facilities including pool etc. Also lovely bar and restaurant. Parking on site was very helpful and made the stay easy.
Appreciate the site is dog friendly but people shouldn’t be allowed to leave their dogs in rooms if they aren’t well trained. We had a dog barking continuously from around 7am one morning and then again in the evening.
3.4
Bed was comfortable and staff helpful
Room too cold, smart heating system not up to the task.
Leaking roof during breakfast
Gym times too tight, needs to be extended

Bad service
Bad facilities

Some of the receptionist were inexperienced. The breakfasts were excellent.the bedrooms are in a poor state of repair the wc is not even screwed down to the floor, and the rooms aren’t checked or replenished each day.
The rooms need to be upgraded and clean. Some of the staff need more training.
