La ubicación, estaba cerca del centro.

No estaba muy limpio. La nevera estaba estropeada y olía fatal y nos dijeron que estaba “bien”….menos mal que nos cambiaron de habitación porque la necesitábamos

El mejor lugar para descansar y conocer Bordeaux

La ubicación es perfecta, muy cerca del tram B y al bus. La habitación muy confortable, el aire acondicionado, la cocineta, la TV y el baño moderno y limpio.

Nos tocó una habitación frente al área del desayuno y muy temprano por la mañana había bastante ruido.

A short winter tour in Bordeaux

Good location, bus stops nearby, fully equipped kitchen and quite a comfortable room, clean linens on beds. Tasty breakfast (meat, cheese, butter, bread and buns, pancakes, pastry, juices, coffee, yogurt, tangerines and oranges), the reception managers are very friendly and always ready to help, gave us detailed information and recommendations as regards sightseeing and travelling over the region.

Noise from outside of the room as the windows in it are not soundproof. The wooden furniture is old and shabby, especially in the kitchen. The cleaning lady only replaced the towels and rarely cleaned the room, never making our beds. The choice of dishes for breakfast is good but there were no vegetables at all. It looks like this hotel needs renovation both at the entrance area and in the rooms.

need more communication and transparency with guests

To access the structure, at the reception they give codes to open the gates. One evening, returning late at night, one of the codes, the one used every day, didn't work. The reception was empty and they didn't answer the emergency number. After several attempts, a lady who didn't know English answered and she wasn't very kind. Among other things, we met another guest inside the gate who told us he couldn't help us because he too had been given the code that didn't work. I suggest always notifying all guests when codes are changed and studying English for those who do this type of work.

un séjour rapport qualité/ prix abordable

La pièce a vivre est très spacieuse. le personnel très accueillant et à votre écoute.

la salle de bain est bien trop petite, l'eau coulait très très chaude. l'insonorisation était moyen on entendait la vie des voisins. les lits étaient dans la même pièce pas d'intimité et pas de séparation avec la pièce à vivre.

Je n’ai pas retrouvé l’aimabilite la gentillesse du personnel du début. J’y ai séjourné plusieurs fois dans l’année depuis 6 ans et jamais une attention comme cliente fidèle ! Sûrement pas assez ! Les prix sont exponentielles et lors de mon dernier séjour besoin d’une chambre supplémentaire pour une nuit et même pas un tarif privilégié! Tarif plein pot Mais effectivement ce n’est plus dans l’air du temps Difficile d’échanger au téléphone

One of few places able to book room for 4 that had 2 single beds . Cooking facilities and the air con was great !

Was okay for few days but too expensive for what it is!

Situated close to the busses and trains. Has tiny kitchenette with the fridge , A/C was nice. Pretty sunny and has enough space.

Very bad neighborhood, actually scary at night. Very old amenities, fridge door almost broken, toilet door looks broken, toilet itself is extremely uncomfortable and Old, no protective mat in the bathtub - dangerous to get out. Our cleaning person once left only one towel and 4 bathroom mats even though we didn’t ask for anything so it was completely random.

first room they gave us hadn’t been cleaned … to be fair they apologised and immediately reallocated us to another room that was ready very poor sound proofing between rooms … could hear everything from next door room

Comfortable bed, clean linens. Kitchen with dishes and fridge. Location is fine. The room is big.

Bad wifi. It was a bit cold. No soundproof. Would be nice to have some basic stuff in the kitchen, like salt and oil. The towel had stains.

Affordable hotel with average facilities

It is a fair value for money hotel. The room was spacious and the kitchenette facilities were good. It is relatively close to all sights and it is possible to reach most sights in some 15-20mins walking distance. Parking is great and affordable. Friendly staff both at reception and cleaning staff.

First and foremost - the area is not great. It wasn't unsafe as such, but not an area I would choose to stay in (had I known it was like that). We stayed in a room in the building by the main road - not sure what the purpose of the windows or walls is as we heard everything loudly. Ambulances and other noise woke us up during the night (and we are otherwise not light sleepers). Many of the room furnishings are on the poor side with wobbly chairs half falling apart, the bathroom not even having one vent etc. Perhaps small issues, but as there were several we felt like they added up.

Basic but good value for money

The property is located walking distance from the center. Good sized room and it is handy to have a coffee machine and fridge in the bedroom.

I didn’t feel that the staff cared about guests. one of the nights there was a guy shouting in the corridor and banging at doors. reception is not 24 hours so somebody called the police. I asked for information to the reception the next ans they only mentioned that they have an email from a guest and not even an apology or any other information.

Good hotel for the price.

Pleasant room with a kitchenette and tea/coffee making facilities. We didn't have the breakfast but it looked ok.

There was staining in the bathroom from a previous leak, and a slight smell, but it didn't bother us The hotel was a little out of the city centre but was good value compared to more central hotels. Bus no 1 to/from the airport is 5 minutes' walk away. There is no garden at Hotel Victoria Garden - I counted just one shrub! But it was still pleasant.

it was just as advertised! it was in a great location in that it was very close and convenient to downtown and public transport. it was fairly confortable, however a bit basic. the kitchenette was a nice thing to have and all was well stocked. also was fairly quiet.

while the location was convenient, as a solo traveler I felt a bit insecure in the surrounding neighborhood. it didn’t feel like the safest part of town. the room was basic but the cleaning was inconsistent and there was a mildew smell. nothing terribly wrong, just maybe needed a little updating.
