Room was really ice, spacious and the shower was amazing.
Loads of tea.coffee/milk too
Neighbours were noisy, but not for long

The check-in was really easy, and the area around was incredibly peaceful and fun to explore. We had the room with a view on the water, which was wonderful.
We really had no complaints, it was a great stay! A small word of warning might be that the hotel is just above a very cozy pub, so that could be noisy for people who are trying to go to sleep before the pub closes. That wasn't our case though so it was no problem!

How this is a 2 star is beyond me! The hotel room was beautiful, nicer than any hilton etc I've stayed in! The bed, pillows were top notch the decor, fixture and fittings were high quality. There wasn't an ounce of noise from the pub downstairs. It's a 20min walk to Temple bar, but lots of places for breakfast around and about. They held our bags free of charge, were another hotel want 15euros. I arrived at 12pm and was unwell, the lady wnsured our room was cleaned first and by 12:30pm we were in. Don't hesitate to book you won't be disappointed.
Nothing!

nicely decorated, new bathroom, very comfy beds, great location and the nicest staff. Bonus: the stay above the best pub we came across during our stay and be able to go to bed without hearing any noise from downstairs!

The character of the pub and then the modern and clean rooms which really complemented the setting!
There was no cold water. It would run warm which isn’t ideal above a pub when you’re thirsty after a few drinks in the night!

I just absolutely loved this property! it was so charming. It’s definitely Dublins best kept secret. Old world charm meets the best of modern finishes. Attention to detail was at its finest, from the bed linens to the teacups. My shower was amazing too, the best water pressure I’ve ever had in a hotel stay. The room was spotless too. I cannot write enough good things about my experience there. The location was perfect! I felt completely safe. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Loaded with plenty of amenities near by, easy access to public transportation and a Pub downstairs. What more could a traveler ask for? Thank you Ferryman, the Best Dublin stay I have ever had!
I have nothing negative to write about this property. it was perfect!

Everything. This hotel was in a great location for walking downtown. getting a cab/uber was super easy if you want to travel further. Our room was above an amazing pub. The pub was so full of life and fun to hangout in. I was really amazed how quite the room was being above the pub. It was really quiet. The pub doesn't stay open too long anyways. The staff was great, friendly, and very helpful. It was such a neat Dublin experience. I can wait to stay there again
Nothing. The hotel was perfect

Quiet room at the back. The room had just been refurbished carpet was brand new. Great bathroom. Internal access to the bar. Security door lock via swipe card.
Lots of stairs but it kept us fit. No food in pub.

the rooms are even better in person, the pub itself is beautiful and the staff couldn’t be more accommodating.
you could argue that it’s a bit of a walk from the city centre/temple bar but I actually preferred that as it’s good to get out of the hustle and bustle of it all.
Can’t think of anything

Great location and lively friendly pub. Room was clean and comfortable. Could not hear the busy pub below. Great location for us and easy to walk around Dublin from here and go to 3Arena.
Only thing was no breakfast but there is a Starbucks next door which suited us fine.

NIce and helpful staff, clean, rooms, all is OK. walking distance to center area, but still quiet at night, altough there is a pub under the rooms, but there is no any noise
was clearly indicated that there is no breakfast service, so it is not a complain, but that could improve on the services. not a problem however, as there are several cafes around so can be solved

Room was comfortable and clean, very nice location and conveniently located above a very nice pub.
Was a bit noisy, the windows did not seem to have any sound proofing.

The beds were extremely comfortable. I did not want to get out of bed in the morning. The location is also great, in the very city center. Simple to get to the venue from the airport. Starbucks nearby.

Loved it all. Accommodation was excellent. We stayed at back of pub, we were not disturbed by noise of any kind. The room had everything, coffee and tea making facilities, ironing board and iron, hairdryer, remote control TV. Lovely shower facility and fresh clean towels. Bed was very comfy and bed linen spotless. Room was not too warm and we could open window for fresh air location was great 15 minutes walk to 3 arena. The staff were lovely. So I give this Accommodation top marks and would have no hesitation booking The Ferryman again.😄😊

The manager, Lisa, was very pleasant when I arrived, carried my bag up 3 flights of stairs (not really her job, I appreciated it), and I think the sheets etc were clean enough. Wifi was strong.
There was ongoing very loud construction, intermittently from early in the morning until almost 8:00 in the evening. I saw the construction signage, sheet plastic and other materials when the manager was taking me to my room, asked her about it but she hand-waved it away, said it wouldn't affect me, it was almost finished or something like that. Turns out they were renovating the room(s) directly over my head, and nothing was muffled -- I could hear bathroom fixtures scraping against one another, power tools, hammering, boots, whole conversations, and the workers had the music cranked while they worked (fair, but still).
The next day when I spoke to her Lisa tried to say that the construction wasn't near my room, and that they hadn't been working so late, etc. but dude -- I was there. She also tried to defend it by saying "it's only during the day" (implying, I suppose, that I shouldn't be sleeping in the daytime anyway) but I had just arrived from Vancouver and was jetlagged: I paid for the room for 2 days, if I want to sleep til noon, that's my prerogative! I persisted, and she grudgingly refunded me the second night, but wouldn't refund the night I had already spent. Whatever. I went to the nearby Starbucks, where it took me 10 minutes to book a way better hotel for that night and I didn't look back.
Just as important: the room was pretty shabby (I guess that's why they're renovating), but no excuses for how filthy parts of it was. Visibly dirty carpet, I couldn't bring myself to use the shower, the TV remote was crusted with filth -- I inspected the sheets and bedding carefully, but they looked and smelled clean, and I was exhausted so I slept as best I could with the construction noise and checked in somewhere else the next day. For the exact same price -- 99 euros a night -- I got a very clean and comfortable room, in a hotel with a lift and breakfast, in a better location.

Loved the location on the outside of the action. The pup was lovely for a pint after a long day of exploring.
I with it would have had breakfast, but they are working on that.
