Great views from the room.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Load shedding was a problem, however there was a generator on the property so power was not off for long.
Everytime the generator started and when the power came back on, the room lights would turn on.

Waking up to the most beautiful views in the winelands was exceptional.
3.0
Location, easy access, peaceful surroundings despite road very close, lots of squirrels and stunning view
Restaurant food was horrible, breakfast and coffee really bad. Staff lovely and chimney very cosy but food poor. Drunk kids making noise on premises a whole afternoon

Great service that represented South Africa well, very considerate staff, delicious breakfast and incredible views of stunning Stellenbosch vineyards. I will definitely be back. Of all my 50 international flights a year around the world, the stay here at Le Pommier was my favourite. Managers Wayne and Marc were top notch.
There being a gym/fitness centre, then I would be staying more and be back for longer. Is this something that will be added?

All the staff go out their way to make you feel right at home. Our suite, the view and breakfast were amazing.
Not to mention the wine tasting and the platters to accompany them.
The grounds were well looked after with spectacular views all around.
There is plenty to do and see in the area. Plenty of hiking too.
Leaving.
But make sure to take some cases of wine with you.

Location
Dirty towel still hanging in bathroom on arrival, room was not cleaned properly. Room was recently refurbished and smelled of wet cement. Staff were disinterested and poorly trained.

The food was ok.

The place is beautiful with amazing views over Simonsberg, 2 pools, Wine tasting Room, amazing food, great wine and very hospitable staff.
Candice checked us in and gave us the lay of the land. She is a jewel of a woman, and although I also work in the hospitality industry and travel a lot for work I’ve never met someone that is so genuinely nice and forthcoming to guests. She always tries to accommodate everyones needs, and I’ve watched her go the extra mile with all other guests too. She’s amazing at her job and you can tell she’s made for working with people. I hope she’s recompensated well for her efforts because she’s really great at her job. Thank you so much for a great stay, and we will return later this month because we loved the place and how we were treated here.
There is literally nothing not to like

Beautiful views of the vineyards and mountains. On-site restaurant for dining in the evening. Excellent and professional staff for the check-in process.
The staff in the restaurant were very friendly, but have a lack lustre approach to service.

The Suites were beautiful! The most beautiful rooms I have stayed in. Large, spacious and comfortable.
I looked forward to the fireplace but it wasn't operational. They came to look at it, but never returned and it was a cold cold night. Plus side is... They have aircons as back up which run fully during load shedding.
Cell reception and wifi was temperamental but understandable due to mountains.

Remains an exceptional stay with great restaurant on site. And the view...
Nothing
