Ik heb het appartement alleen gebruikt voor slapen, douchen en ontbijt.

De locatie van het appartement.

Het appartement is echt basic, saai, geen schilderij of andere versieringen. Geen thee/vaatdoeken, precies van alles vier stuks (glazen, bestek, borden). Het is echt allemaal minimalistisch. In de badkamer geen plankje voor toilettas, geen haakjes voor kleding, douche cabine heeft schimmel, slechts een rolletje toiletpapier. Het bed ruikt niet fris en het kraakt bij omdraaien. Matras is niet geweldig. Het zou goed zijn als de eigenaar ook eens een paar nachten hier gaat slapen en het zelf gaat ervaren.

Nice and comfortable place in the center, The only issue is the noise from the street,I would definitely rent it again.

It's a very nice apartment, it has everything that is needed. The bed is comfortable. The location is also very central. The owner is fast to respond. I would definitely rent it again!

This is definitely not a luxury apartment but it was good size, comfortable, had the basic amenities we needed and most of all the location is fantastic. Definitely good value for money!

More towels would have been good. We like the apartment but to bring up the quality, details in cleaning like the standing fans in the bedrooms would help.

Exceptional

The apartment was spacious and located near to the shopping mall which was amazing!

We requested for more toilet rolls and were rejected given we have 5 people staying in for 5 nights and we only got 2 toilet rolls. The room's wall were full of dead mosquitoes, suggest cleaning it up before renting it out again.

The apartment was rather basic but was comfortable. It needed a few homely touches.

Location was excellent and the apartment was in a quiet street with good shopping facilities very closeby.

A lot of the plates and mugs were chipped or cracked and should have been replaced. The handle from the oven door was missing. There was an issue with the shower which needed updating (separate email sent).

Book somewhere else!

Good bathroom, clean modern Good kitchen facilities Bed ok but tiny wardrobe Location Leaving

Didn't like the way we were treated by the woman Ana. . We requested a refund and she went missing from communication to us and booking. Com, who couldn't contact her. Whilst I could see her on the Watts app.. She refused to communicate only when it suited her. She resurfaced when we had to stay and suck it up as she would not refund our money. She is not suited to tourism felt conned and the apartment is not represented accurately with the photos. Ana had a contemptous attitude. She pretended she couldn't speak English and hid behind texts. Also we booked the cheapest apartment. But what they don't tell you I there is no lounge just a small dog bed at the end of the kitchen for your money you get a bedroom with tiny wardrobe a bathroom and a kitchen. No balcony and no lounge seating area. In the advertising it shows it has a seating area but it does not. I took photos of all of it. Spend your money elsewhere and with nice people. Everyone in the block was complaining. others had booked for a month but they wouldn't change thier bedding or towels sheet in a month. What kind of dive is this!??? The apartment smelt bad too.

I absolutely don’t recommend this apartment to nobody.

location was very good - in the center and near by shopping mall La Vie, everything os close and achievable

Cleaning was done very very bad, kitchen was not equipped as it should, frying pans were awful, sponges to wash dishes were deeply used, no shelf’s to put clothes (very old wardrobes are there, but without shelf’s), toilet paper finished in 3 days and there wasn’t extra. Unfortunately very poor furniture in this apartment, I was afraid to sit down on the sofas, because they were very cheap, old and seems dirty.

Musty smell in the bedroom, door out to balkony was leaky so wind and noise from the street. Hairdryer was broken. Completely useless WiFi . Had to restart the wifi-router many times. We are in 2022 for god sake.

It was very close to everything. Close mall and supernarket, taxis right in front of the building and 10 minute walk to the cable car or centre.

The sounds in the morning. There was a building in construction but that's temporary so we were just unlucky

Very good

We loved the location. You never have to see the owners, it's everything by codes to access to the apartment. The apartment is small but it's nice for two people. It was clean when we arrive.

There's another apartment below where we could see and hear everything from our window and unfortunately, the people there were very noisy, with loud music all night until 7am. The blankets and towels were not very clean. The internet in the room doesn't work as it should. We needed at least 1 more pan and some bowls.

Stay at Funchal

Location was great. Few minute walk to the old town.

Sofa-bed was lacking bed sheet covers and owner did not answer the messages so we had to do without them.

Fantastic location, good size, very clean and well equipped.

WiFi is not all day available for some reason. And people from the flat below are smoking and making noise right under the window at night.

central localisation in town, nice and clean place

town centre.

i rent a car on my last 4 days and struggle to find car space around that area, I did find park by the comercial centre car park and its very expensive.

Very good

The location was perfect to get around to places easily. The accommodation was very spacious and the staff were very friendly.

The hot water stopped after the 3rd person got into the shower and there were no mirrors in the bedrooms.

Very poor

Apartment was big and is situated in the middle of city. Next to it is very nice park, shopping center and very good restaurants.

Apartment was dirty, there was even mold in bathroom, washing machine, etc... Dust in chairs and gauc. Cold around 16-17 degree. Owner and booking was not able to cancel our reservation and return us money back. I absolutely don't suggest go there with small kids as we have(1 and 4y).

Apartment had been dirty (image you walk and every step makes s sound like it is sticking to the floor) One window had been broken and "repaired" by tape, making the window not useful at all The shower had been dirty. The lamp at the bed had been of use as there had been no power socket in the vicinity. The worst: the bed. The sheets had stains and the matress had a bad smell (mould?!). We removed the anyway thin top sheet and used our own sleeping bags. Anyhow the next morning our bodies adapted the smell of the matress!!! We booked another apartment for the duration of our stay in Funchal. So basically we fled the property. Before we arrived I tried to contact the owner to ask for parking - he never replied at all!

Excellent location, simple but well equipped flat.

The location of this place is amazing, close to the city centre, port, old town area, restaurants and clubs, there is a big shopping centre nearby with bus stops and connections to all directions. The place is simple but it had everything I needed - it is also fairly quiet for a city centre apartment. The bedroom furniture is a bit dated but the bed was comfortable. The bathroom is very spacious and there's a washing machine and well equipped kitchen in the flat. I had a very pleasant stay - this was my third time in Funchal and I'd definitely choose this place again, especially due to its excellent location.

it’s really centrally located and has everything you need. it’s a cute apartment with some style elements. the internet was amazing (we had to work there - no problem with 2 people in calls at the same time). it’s really good value for a couple of days.

its a little basic and lacks some love. it’s located behind the mall in a noisy street. there was a really annoying Plastik cover on the mattress. is has no dish washer and the water in the shower turned cold after the first person showering.

Location is excellent, opposite a mall which had a grocery store and restaurants.

Bedsheets and comforter were poor in quality. We requested host to provide toilet paper roll, washing machine pod, kitchen towels, and she declined. There was no washing machine pod provided at all. The living space was not comfortable for a couple for mid term stay of a week or longer. Sofa was small for 2 people and also worn out. The apartment is fine for a couple of days stay as it is in a central location. Many restaurants are in close proximity. Kitchen pots and pans are of low quality and was not clean.
