Despite the building being a little run down, the location is amazing, the shared communal room is very cosy, the staff were super friendly, and the kitchen is almost a commercial-style kitchen with everything you could need.
No lockable storage space in the dorm.

The staff were very friendly.
Comfy bed.
Good value for money.

Hot showers, good clean kitchen, location, good drying room
Cold in room and woken up after long day in mountains by residents (unsure if guests) having very loud party including young children in next door room. Did receive text after departure to apologise.

Great location in Betwys y coed to explore the local area. The hostel was perfect for what I needed, bed was comfy, enough space in the room, clean, and had all the facilities I needed. The wardens were lovely and very friendly, thankyou so much!

Easygoing experience, great location and friendly service

Everything we needed was at the property. Michelle and Helen were lovely and so welcoming. Quiet location.
We found it a little chilly on our last night but the weather had turned exceptionally cold. Spare duvets were provided in the room and these were very welcome.
4.5
Good place to stay and very convenient for walking.
The creaky-est bed I think I have ever slept in. The other beds were really noisy too.
4.5
Super welcoming and friendly wardens! The kitchen had everything we needed and the lounge/dining area was always warm and cosy.
It's a steep slope up the driveway, so definitely advisable to park at the bottom, then meet the wardens and move the vehicle to where they recommend.

Good facilities.
Noisy guests.

Great location, really clean and nice facilities. Showers were really hot and the heating was on which is always nice to see. Kitchen and items available to use too and staff were really nice and helpful. I was lucky to get a while 10 bed dorm to myself which was brilliant and had a lovely view to the fells out of the front facing bay window. Central location not only for hikes but even to walk out to the local shops or bar.
I liked everything. Spot on!

Hostel has a great localisation, it has drying room for hiking gears. The kitchen is full of equipment.
The beds in dormitory are small. It was just enough for my. Also it is not many socket in dormitory room.

The location is perfect for many walks nearby as well as station, shops and restaurants. Helen and Michele could not have been better hosts. Welcoming, fun and full of local knowledge. The place itself is warm, comfortable, clean, with a well equipped kitchen and places to unwind inside and out. nice hot showers as well for after a long walk we’re very welcome also. Fantastic place! 10/10
Genuinely nothing to put here.

Great location, great host, really big kitchen
There us no WiFi at all in the upper levels and also no phone service so that's nit the best

Good facilities, everything you need including a decent drying room. The lady who looks after it is lovely, really friendly and helpful.
5pm check in is a bit late. Would be good if that was changed to a bit earlier.

Pros: good value for money; the Warden, Helen, is super friendly and helpful; there is a fully equipped kitchen in the Centre, which comes in handy; close to the train station (please be aware that you have to walk up two slopes before you get to the Centre, just in case you aren't in a car and have a big suitcase like me); two small supermarkets nearby and loads of restaurants; easy access to most famous Snowdon paths and Llandudno (take the Sherpa buses)
Cons: the shower water is timed, i.e. every time you press the button, the water only comes out for 10 secs or so, so you have to press the button at least a dozen times in order to finish a shower (but I understand that it's for cost-saving reasons); the hostel wasn't cleaned everyday, perhaps the Centre wasn't full-house during my stay, but the cleanliness was acceptable

Warm, cosy, friendly staff, and value for money!
Nothing not to like, as long as you understand it's budget accommodation.

Great location, good value for money. Very friendly check in.
Flight down for the toilet and shower. But small price to pay for the convenience. Just tough after running a Marathon.

Absolutely loved my stay here. The location is very convenient - train station, bus stops, restaurants, shops. Everything is close by. Helen the Warden was so lovely and welcoming! Would love to go back. Totally recommend.
The wifi wasn't very great in the room
