Superb

Friendly staff and good location close to the main station. Rooms were comfy and there was good water pressure in the shower. The local travel card was very useful to be able to use the public transport free of charge, especially during periods of rain.

Everything was good and solid however slightly old fashioned fixtures and fittings.

Fine for our leisure visit, would recommend. Poor wifi frustrating for my friend trying to work.

Great breakfast, w v friendly staff.

Wifi unreliable, kept cutting out, like wifi used to do yrs ago. Lovely covered terrace at back, shame the pool was empty - it was not promoted so not misled.

Excellent location close to the station, staff were outstanding.

The location was excellent for the station. It was a 15 minute walk to the city centre, but we were travelling around so proximity to the station was our priority. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel was a little dated, but that added to its charm. I spotted an empty jacuzzi however that was not listed as available in any case.

Perfect location, nice breakfast and we received free tickets for public transport.

Excellent breakfast, cozy little traditional hotel, very clean, good value for money

Generally quiet, but the old floors and stairs crack when walking, which can make a bit of noise depending where your room is located, but it is part of the charm!

Perfect for a short stay

Staff was very kind and helpful. Location is great, few minutes walking distance from the train station. Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast very good (also few plant-based options possible)

Walls are not that thick, noisy neighbors can be heard. Squeaky mattress. Moquette was a bit dusty in the corners.

Fantastic location very Near the Central Train Station. And a Short walk to underground to get to Alstadt, Staff were all Fantastic and was well looked after.

Cozy old school style hotel for a night or two

hotel is old school style - they hold your key at reception. room was nice and cozy. bathroom was recently renovated. I thought the

I left early in the morning to go to gym and told reception that I would be back in a couple hours for check-out. When I arrived back at 8.30am, reception had told cleaners that I had checked out and they already had gone through the room (and my stuff). Nothing was missing or anything, but it was weird miscommunication due to language gaps (non-native DE/EN speakers working there).

Hotel Bismarck is a good place to stay especially if you come by train

Location is a few minutes from the train station. Very friendly staff and they have quite an assortment for breakfast. Also breakfast is until 10 am but people came for breakfast at 10 and they still could have breakfast. Also the refill of food is very good. They also give you useful tips for things to do.

The hotel did not have airco and due to rain it was quite hot in the hotel and the rooms. The pillows in the rooms are terrible. They are very soft and you need both to even have any use of them.

the location is great, convenient and quick to get to the train station and to the central alley and the city center. The hotel is old but looks good and quite authentic. The staff is great, they will also help and advise locations worth visiting in the city
