Country Pub with local clientele and a few rooms. Breakfast was good.
Rooms are not so good, scratchy linen, Mira shower, room door didn't close unless locked, needs investment.

Very friendly staff, clean, good food
On occasions there was a little excess grease on the plates.
Bed side cabinet drawers in twin room needs some repair

We were woken up by the fire alarm at 2.30am, with no sign of the owner and no response on the emergency telephone number we had to call 999. Slept in our car until 4.45am and was offered no form of compensation.

Lovely staff working very hard to please. They even bought our granddaughter a brand new cot and mattress. Pretty Olde Worlde pub where we stayed with our children and grandchildren for 2 nights while attending a wedding at nearby Dewsall Court. Rooms were very warm and clean. The bathroom could do with updating (electric very noisy shower and windows not double glazed) but it was very acceptable. Excellent full English breakfasts cooked to order, accompanied by cereals, yogurts and fruit juices. The staff were lovely and could not do enough for us!
The bedroom lighting could be improved (for putting on makeup) and the bedroom and bathroom would both benefit from double glazing to replace the old wooden single glazed frames.

The location was good for us we were staying at a venue nearby, the pub downstairs is very nice and lovely old beams.
The staff were very helpful to give us a heater as the central heating had broken, but we didnt need to use is as it was so warm! And the full english breakfast was lovely thank you.
The extractor fan for the kitchen was at our bedroom window and the deep rumbling of that going off at quarter to 7 was hard to sleep through. Also there were no soaps for washing in the shower, so we used the hand-wash.
I think this is an issue which you can't quickly ammend, but I think it was when the nextdoor room's electric shower comes on, it was an incredibly loud deep rumbling

Lovely room and good food.
You are over the kitchen and the fan is very loud.

Traditional country pub with rooms. Good food and drink, very friendly, helpful staff. Nice garden and lots of parking. Close to main road with petrol station and shop nearby.
One room was not ensuite but had a separate private bathroom. Did not cause me a problem.

Lovely pub, great food and fantastic accommodation. Lovely en-suite room that slept 3 adults comfortably. Perfectly located for us to attend a hen night.
Only negative feedback is the coffee wasn't great and after a night on the booze a good coffee was craved. Thats literally all to moan about

The menu has changed from past times, its more bar food now with a few hoe classic included. However, the food was excellent. They had a band on outside which was fun, i always enjoy the atmosphere.
We requested the sofa bed be made up and had this confirmed the day of arrival. However, it was not and we had to prepare the bed ourselves.

Lots of parking, quiet location
Confusion about whether we had already paid.
Booked 2 en-suite rooms and 1 room was not en-suite. Was told owner would sort it out for 2nd night but heard no more. Not helped by private bathroom door locks not working.
Kitchen extractor fan right outside our bedroom window.
Breakfast was small, little choice and disappointing. Didn't even have orange juice on the 2nd morning and not offered an alternative.
