Casa davvero particolare, isolata, ma con bella vista. Moderna, grande cucina, spazio esterno. Parcheggio.
Il check in non era chiaro, ma abbiamo risolto.

Everything was amazing
We did not receive check in instructions in advance, so we had to call and clarify all the details by phone. Luckily we arrived earlier than expected, we could have arrived at night

Location and view is fantastic. The apartment has a modern compact living design. Very cool.
There are some major design flaws, beware the upstairs ceiling light, it aims for your head, the first step of the stair is at kneelevel.
It was not very clean, just passable. Lots of hair and dust under bed upstairs, long black hairs on the windowsill.

Great view and location. Interesting layout and some fun features. Well kept and well stocked.
Some of the interesting features were a bit awkward. The stairs leading up to the loft are kind of hard to step onto as you have to first step onto the bench. The stairs themselves are different sizes and somewhat narrow. Certain seating places inside and on the deck give you a close and direct view into the other unit.

I liked the outside patio with nice view of mountains and city. Plenty of space.
One location with three houses.

It is in a good location.
I attempted to contact owner by phone, text, and numerous times through Booking.com customer service trying to find out how I was to gain access per booking instructions. Customer service finally was told by owner the keys were in box at door. True but at no time was I given code to access keys. If not for people in other joined appt, they helped to guess code & get me into appt. I explained my anger to cleaning person who was surprised & she was to tell owner. No communication from owner following that. The stairs in property are a hazard & no couch like other apts. lots of cool lodging in Iceland. No need to rent from an irresponsible one. Stay elsewhere

Nice Villa with a Breathtaking view, could be a bit more private as the Villa is splitted in 3 Apartments.
Kitchen was not clean when we arrived as well as the Floor, Beds and Bathroom were clean. We would stay again in this Villa when we are in Akureyri.

Beautiful architecture. Phenomenal view of akureyri from its perch on the hill facing the city. If you’re hesitating because of its location, don’t. You’ll truly enjoy Villa Lola. Book with confidence.
Architecture and design.

It had everything we needed! Great view
First aid kit is needed (there was a small one which was empty)

We stayed in the superior apartment at Villa Lola for two nights. The apartment was beautiful and wonderfully decorated. It had gorgeous views of Akureyri from across the river and the valley and mountains on the other side. I was a little worried when I saw that it was situated between the two other apartments but the sound insulation was great and we never heard any other noise. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could have needed. My kids loved the window seat with its beautiful views. We also liked that there were some games and books. Even though there were many windows, there were enough room darkening shades that the long days were not an issue when going to bed. The bathroom was huge with a big shower. Although it was not right in town, it was only a couple minute drive to get into downtown and it was easy to get to the roads leading to Myvatn area and farther North. I called the host to find out how to get into the apartment, when we checked in, and he was very helpful and sent very detailed directions and how to get the key.
We were disappointed that there was no washing machine, which was one of the amenities posted on Booking.com. Since this was halfway into our two week long trip, we planned to do laundry and so this was a pretty big deal for us. It took a day to get a response to my question about the washer. Also, the door to the deck was broken. There was another side door going onto the neighboring apartment's deck so it was not a big problem.
