Perfect little cottage for what we needed. We usually stay in our camper when visiting the Peak District but this little place gave us a base to rest our heads and shower after our long walks. Value for money, comfy bed, hot shower and cooking facilities. Great communication from owners too.
Nothing

The quiet area
The place is so pokey! we were shuffling around each otherThe place was musty. No storage.
The location is poor. So overpriced for the accomodation

Close to where I needed to be. Good shower. Quiet.
Very small. Without heating on it felt cold and damp. Parking was very difficult - had to park in the village on 2 nights. They are very keen you do not use the heating too much as it is expensive. There was no cancellation policy, but as this was the only option for Christmas I didn’t have any choice.

Stunning quiet location
If you like a form mattress then the bed is perfect

Nice place with helpful owners when issue arose with bedding .
The heating was just right. Often places are cold during the summer and owners control it . No problem here though
It was good for me but probably too small for most people

The area was wonderful, the people friendly, the pub nearby very welcoming with good food. The Studio itself was quite magical and the owners had obviously done a great job to provide the best that could be achieved in quite a small space.
Nothing. We loved it all!
4.1
Good location for exploring the Dale's. Good shower
Space as advertised was very small but whole studio only as big as a bedroom. Parking is very limited but we did find a park about 80 yards away.
4.1
For a compact studio it has all the kitchen appliances and equipment needed. Well equipped property

Just got back from the loveliest weekend away in the Peak District. The Studio is located in the perfect spot for exploring what the peaks has to offer. The accommodation had all the necessary amenities and we had a very comfortable stay. Will definitely be returning.

The location was perfect, being based only a few minutes walk from the best pub in the village (The Shoulder of Mutton). The facilities in the accommodation worked well for what we needed for three nights, and we could've comfortably stayed for longer!
Highly recommend visiting The Shoulder during your stay, the staff and locals were so friendly and welcoming. Be sure to go to the free Sunday night quiz too!
There is no ventilation above the hobs, so it can get smokey in there when cooking. This can be helped by opening windows, just a little chilly!

Compact accommodation but well thought out, and great value for money
Nothing!

Good location, warm house, good shower
Internet a bit slow

I loved how cute it was, it had everything I needed, it was clean and comfortable and was in a great location for the course I was taking.
I highly recommend the studio if you are going to be completing the First Response Course (FREC3) by high peak first aid as it is only a 5 minute drive away.
The surroundings are beautiful, great for walking and getting back to nature. The studio is in a convenient location as there is a CO-OP, bakery, and fish and chip shop a 5-10 minutes walk away.
Overall, I had a lovely stay and would recommend :)

This is a compact property as stated when booking, it is cosy and fully met our requirements for a romantic weekend away, nearby to great walking locations. We got quite wet on Friday both prior to and then after arrival, fortunately the heating was great and we were soon able to dry out our coats on the radiator and towel rail. The shower was great, the kitchen area was small but adequate, a lot of thought has been used by the owners to fully utilise what is a small space. As you step out of the property there are pleasant views nearby.
Two of the four pubs in the village have recently closed down, the remaining two have limited opening hours. Food in the Shoulder of Mutton, 300m away was really good. I wouldn’t want to initially find the studio in the dark.

Nice and quiet out of the way cosy little place
Wi fi still not great... tv only has a few.channels
But neither a massive problem for me

Location
Very small so confining if poor weather

Cute little cottage with facilities that worked very well and incredibly friendly and helpful neighbours! We especially loved the little kitchen and appreciated the microwave/oven.
I do think the price was very expensive for how small the property was and the fact that you actually have to be quite privileged to get around the area. The busses weren't reliable at all, so it was near impossible to get around without a car. But nevertheless, our stay was incredibly magical!

The space was so restrictive we didn't use the facilities for breakfast in case we damaged the owners precious wooden surface. It looked pleasant but it was pretentious and very uncomfortable. We liked going home.
The space was too small. The seats were uncomfortable. There were little notes around the property which ironically told you how to behave in such a restrictive space. The place was stuffy because the windows were so small. We were so uncomfortable we only stayed for one night but we had booked for two.

Lovely little kitchen, with all that you needed ❤️ beautiful location
Bed was uncomfortable could do with a topper, tv would be better on a pull out bracket.

The location was good. The property was bijou, v small but ok for one person.
The accommodation could have been cleaner and smelt very strongly of damp. There was mould in the dustbin.

Very nicely presented. Bed a little disappointing but good enough. Great hot shower
Finding it!!

Nicely decorated and very clean.
Room quite small.
Noisy fridge. Noticable at night.

the shower
the mattress needs replacing was a hole in the sheet one of the plates had crisps on it another had lettuce so we washed all utensils Wi-Fi poor radiators were good but heat went straight out of drafts windows and door partner bought a hot water bottle shower needs a bath mat irs slippy parking was a struggle it says don’t get the wood surfaces wet near the sink and kettle that’s silly

Towels and heating were fantastic. All the information needed was available. It's a proper cosy little love nest. All the neighbours we met were friendly, location is spot on for cycling. Fab walk up the hill. Everything in and about The Studio is very small, but it's all perfectly proportioned. Equipment is extremely well thought out for 2 people, wasn't short of anything we needed. Parking on The Green was no problem even with a Citroen Dispatch van. Shower is good (although hot water a bit limited so need to be quick if both going in). It's not luxurious, but it is clean, comfortable and fantastic VFM. We both loved it, would certainly return if wanting to visit this area again.
1. Info overload before going, massive repetition of data, most of which is great just as provided on the helpful and well positioned notices in the room (although some conflict, particularly what to do with the heating when you leave). There were multiple repetitions before arriving, lots of info we didn't even need to know at that point. On the other hand the supplied map is very poor and difficult to align to a real map - suggest just copy a real map! This is the one bit of info visitors really need (apart from the key code!) and it took as quite a while online to gain reasonable confidence that we knew where to go! The info needs review and simplification.
2. Being asked not to leave suggestions online.
3. Regarding The Studio itself - Nothing, it's a little gem, really well designed and equipped!

Location could not be better. Everything was explained by landlord beforehand via email, like place to park or local shops and pubs. Village itself must be one the prettiest in Peak District.
Nothing.
4.1
Comfortable, good location for walking and local shops.
Kitchen sink a little small.
4.1
Good local facilities. Well stocked supermarket, good local chippy and pubs with an excellent independent deli. A few miles away from a lot of major hills but good bus routes to castleton, and you get a quieter town. Could also catch a bus from sheffield to less than 200 metres from the cottage in terms of reaching the studio. Heating effective and quick to warm up, as well as water. Very good value for money as a solo traveller
Pretty small and feel cramped initally gave a bit of a shock, but you begin to adapt and get used to it, the host has bespoke solutions to help with the slight lack of overall space. On wet days where lots of clothes need drying its a slight challenge.
4.1
Nice little property .. cosy and good location..
Wi fi wasnt great but only a minor issue
4.1
The property had everything you could possibly want. The hosts were brilliant at communicating beforehand - little touches like the map of the village made it so much easier to find the cottage in the dark and were really appreciated. The property is very small, but fantastic value for money as it has everything you could need. One thing I loved was the number of plug sockets - might sound small, but I stay in a lot of places that don't have enough so I appreciated this! I went for a weekend away by myself and was hoping to explore Bradwell during the weekend. Unfortunately the snow meant that this was not really possible, but it did turn the whole village into a picturesque winter wonderland, so I can't complain.
4.1
small but well appointed, perfect for what I needed it for.
a Little on the small side for more than one person.
