Lovely staff, beautiful setting and room. Great breakfast. We had dinner one night, which was tasty but we have had better for the price in Morocco. It's a short walk to the centre of the Medina and the location is quiet and secluded. Easy to access via taxi as half a block from a gate, so only a short walk with our luggage.
Nothing, it was a lovely stay

The breakfast is excellent! The staff is super welcoming and brought us mint tea upon arrival.
The room is huge, the decor is even better than shown on photos and a very comfortable rooftop terrace.
FYI- Riad is 10-15 min walk away from all main attractions and very easy to walk their with the help of google map, no need for a local guide at all-~
The parking!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful riad, absolutely loved the plants and the decor! The rooms are also very beautiful, and the staff were hospitable and friendly. Breakfast here was also arguably the best on our trip

Breakfast - a wide selection of tasty options. Bread, Croissants, omellete, jam, honey, Moroccan pancakes, good coffee, orange juice.
The waiter was friendly and very professional

Beautiful riad 20 meters after the gate of the old city: easy access by car (a covered car park in front of the riad) and walking distance to all the places to see in the Medina. We were welcomed with the typical Moroccan the. The riad is very nice and there is a parrot singing the the main room. Room was clean. We strongly recommend having dinner at the riad: for 20 euro per person (drink excluded) they serve a full dinner with typical Moroccan dishes. The chef is amazing: every day something different and very creative! We can say that we had the best food of our trip in Morocco at this riad, definitely better that the restaurants. Very good breakfast! personnel is very welcoming and will help you with all you need, including booking taxis (fees are pre-defined and exposed at the reception) or activities and tours.
Wierd smell in the room

Everything about the Riad was amazing. The interior was stunning and beautifully decorated with Moroccan tiles, furniture, and artwork. Our room was comfortable and clean and also featured many beautiful decorations.
We were welcomed with a delicious mint tea and biscuits. The breakfast was probably the best that we had during our time in Morocco. It included freshly brewed coffee and tea, milk bread with a variety of spreads (such as fig jam, honey, and a traditional sweet potato spread) and Moroccan pancakes.

Perfect, authentic stay in Fes. The staff was amazing. The food was also the best Moroccan food, I decided to eat all dinners there.

Everything was absolutely beautiful. The staff so welcoming and accomodating. Our room was gorgeous and so comfortable. Location perfect too... and the sweet potatoe spread over breakfast... Id go back only for that! Highly recommended.

Location, staff, and accommodations are all first rate. Our stay was entirely a pleasure.

Behind an unassuming entrance is one of the most beautiful riads you could hope to visit. Riad Al Bartal is stunning and beautifully maintained by a very friendly and helpful group of staff. We stayed in the Sefferine family suite which was huge and very clean. The breakfast was exceptional, and I would recommend having dinner n the riad at least once as it's really delicious. And make sure you have a coffee on the amazing roof terrace! The location is also perfect -- in the medina so you can easily get to all the main sights, but on the edge so it remains quiet.
Our bathroom drains had a slight odour. I'm not sure how much the riad can do about this but it was noticeable from the adjoining room.

Very nice patio and clean, big and spacious rooms

The courtyard was lovely to look at and breakfast was a very decent affair. The sitting area of our room was there but not comfortable enough to use out of choice.
The whole place, while being very pretty, had a claustrophobic feel to it because of the covered courtyard. Dine in was pricey and there was hardly any info available apart from very good staff despite their poor English.

Very nice and helpful people. The patio is very impressive.

The staff were delightful, informative and helpful.the physical decor of the Riad as good as I saw in the whole of Morocco-exceptional. The shower was of high quality
The internet reception/Wi-Fi was unacceptable and mostly unavailable in our room. The seating furniture in the room was old and uncomfortable and should be replaced.Things can be old but if uncomfortable they do not serve their purpose.

Beautiful riad managed by very kind people. The rooms are cosy and the breakfast/diner were very good.
Beds are not comfortable at all

Beautiful property! Absolutely the most beautiful Road we stayed in throughout our two week drive across Morocco. Peaceful, calm and don’t forget to check out the terrace too. The staff are also amazing and made us feel beyond comfortable. I received unfortunate news from home during the visit and the staff were very supportive. They also helped us find some jam we liked form their breakfast. The food was also delicious. Wish we had stayed at the Riad longer

The detailed interior design and selected art and craft around the property were delightful. All the employees were super kind and helpful. Our ‘string of rooms (family suite)’ were an absolute pleasure after gritting it out in the Medina.
No key to the front door was a bit strange…but there was an employee 24/7 with immediate response to let guests in and show guests out. This was clearly a wonderful security detail and a welcoming touch.

Enjoyed every aspect of this Riad. Had dinner there our 1st night and it was delicious. The morning breakfasts were quite satisfying as well. The service we received from Ray and Omar was above-and-beyond!
Really can’t think of anything I didn’t like. Perhaps they could add a pool in time for our next visit…😉

The service, rooftop, bedrooms and main courtyard were beautiful. there was so much attention to details in the rooms and the middle space you could tell it was all made with love.
The neighbourhood was a bit sketchy at night but so is most of Fes honestly & we never felt in any danger at all.

Architecture and tranquility of this Riad.
Staff was overall nice but did not provide me a decent map nor information essential to visit Fes medina which is a labyrinth very difficult to navigate. Had travel companions who stayed in other riads which provided useful information.
