AH-MAZING!!! It was absolutely magical! They had a Christmas wreath and a Christmas tree in the cabin which made it feel so warm and cozy. The hot tub was wonderful and the entire experience was memorable! We will be back for sure!

Nice Cabin near the east entrance to North Cascades. We like having our own place, it’s quiet and having a small kitchen to use is a plus
Inflexibility to get partial refund as the entire reason to be there was too goto North Cascades and the road through the park was closed. We did what we could in the Winthrop side and asked if we could get a partial refund so that we could go to the other side of the park, and we’re told no. Breakfast was too basic and started too late in the morning for us to use. It was cereal, toast and waffles.

the property was fine

Location was great. Loved having a cabin with washer/dryer and kitchen when traveling with kids.
Sink and shower didn’t drain well. Anything that fell under the bed got covered in dust.

the deer. close to ice rink. breakfast included. cosy cabin. scenery. check in and out via phone message was nice.
no towels - had to go to front desk. no spare toilet paper - again to front desk. heating unit became super loud waking us at night and needed a reset to work properly. bed a bit lumpy. checkin time a bit earlier would have been nice. wish i had requested late checkout because hockey game ended at 11am. was rushed.

Nice location. Good beds.
Continental breakfast was too late. No coffee provided in room. Only a little salt was provided to help with cooking in room. I'm used to VRBO where more supplles are available. You need to state in room description that nothing is provided in kitchen except tools.

The view
Wasn't clean. Had hair on my bed and the cabin smelt like wet dog

perfect layout for our group.

that's not breakfast
There was a yellow jacket nest under the back porch overlooking the river. We had to fight them off to spend any evening time on that porch. I finally got stung. We informed the dumbass at the front desk, i showed him my swollen left forearm and he said they had the place sprayed last week and that was it, he blew it off and walked away.

Location was fantastic! View of the river was beautiful!
I didn't like not being informed breakfast was not available during entire stay. I understand it was due to the lodge building water shut off but the hand written sign (of availability & hours) should have had an additional notice of temporary unavailable.

The location was outstanding. It was just a short walk into town and right on the river. The cabin was spacious, comfortable and well laid out.

close to the river. quiet, wildlife roaming, beautiful cabin
access to the river was difficult
4.2
Nice space with a full kitchen. Walking distance to downtown.
Needs a softer bed. Could use a better cleaning of dishware. Also, from the pictures it wasn’t clear that not all of the cabins have washer/dryer. Still about a 45 min drive to Cascade NP

location was so perfect for cross country skiing and ice skating, it was literally out our front door. we loved being right on the river which made a beautiful view from our back porch. we loved watching deer there. we also loved the free hit chocolate in the office that was available all day. it was a nice treat after skiing for my teens!
floors were sticky. we could have used more dishes and glasses as we do cook when on vacation. Back porch furniture was old and had holes in it.

The location was divine and the cabins were cute. The staff, while a bit lost and untrained, were very nice
The kitchen tools were broken and damaged. In general the kitchen utensils/equipment was not great 30+ plates but no good mugs, no good cookware. It was very difficult to cook in that kitchen. And while the latest cosmetic remodel was cute, things like the xtra xtra long curtains pooled on the floor were awkward and pointless, causing my kids to trip. We really did enjoy it but it just seems not a lot of thought was put into some of the details.

Our cabin was roomy and neat. The river view was nice. It is a 10 minute walk to town over the river on a pedestrian bridge.
We could have loved this place but it was NOT CLEAN! Upon arrival we had to ask to have the garbage removed. Then we noticed food on the floor. When we tried the microwave, the turntable was crusted with someone else’s spills. The oven was splattered with grease. I might have cleaned it up but there were no cleaning supplies. Only dish soap. The attendant at the desk was apologetic and cheerfully came to reclean each time. There needs to be better monitoring of cleaning!!!!!

Great location on the river .
Easy access to all of the town. Walking distance to almost every restaurant, bakery, wines, shopping and bars

the deer out front and the river.
BBQ not operational...not cleaned, no fuel. Bed..mattresses are horrendous(both stays) when we checked in they hadnt cleaned the room(2 hours past checkin time) and they sent us downtown for an hour to make up room. When we came back the floors were gritty and filthy and still had previous tenants pistacio nuts scarttered around on floor...CLEARLY not a "safe COVID " cleaning as advertised. At least this room had a not broken drawer and microwave which our rental last Spring had. Won't stay here again. And front desk receptionist was brusk at first, did come by later and ask if all was ok so will give her a pass on the initial chilly reception.
