The Oliver has changed hands since I last visited it but the new owner is very pleasant. It may be a little unfair to put most of my comments in following box but not sure they could come under 'What did you like? either. A box for General Comments would be useful as for instance the breakfast was adequate so not really 'liked' or 'disliked'
With regards to breakfast, various cereals to start with but only orange juice available. No fruit. Full English breakfast was OK but there appeared to be no other options apart from leaving out items not required. There was certainly no options on the breakfast menu (sited in the bedroom) There didn't appear to be a choice of how the egg was cooked either other than fried. Only one slice of toast (but I didn't ask for more). No marmalade or jams to follow which there should be. Official breakfast time is from 0815 (until 0900 but it may have been 0930). 0815 is usually too late for me although it was served when I went down before then which was appreciated
For me it's a tad too far from the town and the bus stops at the Kings Statue. The room didn't appear to to serviced apart from one bin being emptied on one occasion but it wasn't really a problem for a three night stay.
The whole operation seems to be based on it being easy for the owner, but with regards to breakfast it may mean little food waste which is a good thing

Nothing
It was nothing like your pictures. Could be false advertising. The place was dirty. We would not even eat there it was so horrible.

Very clean and comfortable. Very good value for money with the cooked breakfast included.
Parking is an issue in Weymouth. We were given a pass for a car park in town which meant a bit of a walk.

Location. Big breakfast.
The stair going up to the last floor was too narrow. My boyfriend is in a big frame so it was kinda hard for him. If you're 6 ft and above, please make sure not to bump your head in the overhead beam.

Peter and Ole were very welcoming and Ole’s full English was cooked to perfection every day.
I have definitely put a bit of weight on!

The room had opening front bay windows and a side window which made it very bright and airy. The bed was very comfortable, TV and tea coffee. The breakfast was excellent.
It was unnerving to hear that my payment money would be taken the week before and if the transaction hadn’t gone through then the booking would automatically be cancelled and that this was in the contract agreement that no one ever reads ! I wandered if I would have been informed. Also I was shocked to hear that when I called to say I would arrive late I was initially told I wouldn’t have access ! The matter was resolved with a key left in a safe place for me which I really appreciated but also expected to have access at all times given the unforeseen circumstances and the room was payed for.

The breakfast was good
The public areas were grubby, the bedroom was small and the bathroom was very small and needed attention. No wardrobe and minimal cupboard space , extractor in bathroom did not work nor light over sink.

Breakfast was great. Ollie was the perfect host.

The breakfast was excellent as was the chef. Really polite and friendly. The location was ideally placed near the sea. Really enjoyed the stay and visiting all the lovely sites of Weymouth and Dorset.
The plumbing / shower was not great. Shower boiling hot one second and freezing the next. We fully appreciate that the plumbing is to its limits on a old building with multiple guests.

Breakfast was ok for smaller appetites. The young lad who worked there was happy and friendly, which made up for the grumpy owner who we only saw at check in anyway. Beds were comfy though.
Very hard to reach loft rooms up steep staircase. Restricted head height, luckily my partner and I are short so that wasn't too much of s problem but gor anyone over 5'10 ish would be. Dated, carpeted bathroom on floor below bedrooms, shower not great. Very early breakfast, was told 8.30am or not at all!

Ole was a great cook and was very friendly and patient, Peter was very welcoming. Room was comfortable and the ensuite was the right size for the room. I had no complaints save that I will miss that bed 🙂

Good location
Would have liked more healthy choice for breakfast eg yogurt, fruit

Breakfast was always freshly cooked to order and very good.
The location was close to the beach and promenade but not too close that noise would affect us. Likewise the town/central area was a pleasant stroll away so the night life noise was no problem.
Room was a little smaller than anticipated but it was sufficient for our needs.

hosts were lovely and location is great.
room was very small, and stairs was pretty steep to the top room. But my fault should have requested a different room.
