About this house rental
Why share walls with another unit, live with other travelers, when you can be in the ‘place to be’ in a world apart with the people you know and love? Enjoy all the quietude you desire in this remarkable one-of-its-kind stand alone single family home in East Vail. It exhibits a naturally harmonic blend of serenity and grandeur, both privacy and luxury.
Bask in the kaleidoscopic light that pours through the south facing windows, illuminating the ‘grand’ great room with its vaulted ceilings, pristine hard wood floors and gas fireplace ‘fashionably set’ into a multi colored cut-stone hearth framed by a darkened wooden mantle. The Evergreen laden mountain views are EPIC and yet, from within the grounds of this heavenly homestead, one can be made to feel that the towering cliffs and cascading waterfalls of Gore Creek were performing a very intimate albeit glorious ‘pageant’ just for them.
Smartly accoutered with stainless steel grill, hot tub and table and chairs you are cordially invited to indulge in a relaxing retreat on the recently extended deck, whether its for sunbathing or watching the clouds move across the tapestry of the sky at twilight. The stargazing at night is sublime, the brilliance of the twinkling stars revolving in their spheres seem to be mirrored by the vintage hanging lights that adorn the balustrade, adding just a touch of festive flare.
The kitchen has all new upscale stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and bar style seating. Savor your time together engaged in good conversation during meals at the large dining room table that seats 8 comfortably, and then adjourn to the relaxation of the massive living room equipped with a large flat screen TV, surround sound and plenty of seating for your nearest and dearest. Also, no need to leave your furry friend at home. You’re welcome to have one dog accompany you for $40/day. When it is time to venture out, a large two car heated garage will keep your vehicles safe and dry upon your return. If you want to drive that is! There’s really no need. This wonderful home is right on the free Town of Vail shuttle route so getting to Vail mountain is easy and fun. Live it up right in a true ‘place apart’, drop in to 2250 square feet at 5025 Main Gore Place!
*Summer reservations may be cancelled up to 30 days prior to arrival.*

Loved the house and the entire experience. Instructions to locate the property were not very useful and should be corrected but we had zero problems outside of that. Thanks for a great experience!

The house was just as pictured and extremely nice. The location was very close to the shuttle. We had a great stay.

Great house.
Lot's of Room - Great Hot Tub!
Very well stocked Kitchen. Everything is just as described in the listing.
Comfortable beds.
4.8
Great property! Spacious great room and very well stocked kitchen. Lots of sleeping space and bathrooms. The property manager was super responsive. We loved the experiment. One suggestion is to have some maps with local attractions. Otherwise, everything was terrific. Highly recommend.
4.8
This house is well laid out and appointed for a family or group of friends. Nice quiet location in Vail. Would stay again

This property is a quick drive to town, quiet, and has a large deck to relax and enjoy the Mountain views and air. The kitchen and family room are roomy and nice to have; in our opinion this is the only reason to book this property.
Unfortunately, the bedrooms were dirty, are dated, and the beds were not comfortable. If you do stay here, bring your own pillows!
We had a number of issues (no heat, bed collapsed, etc.) and I will say the property management company took care of the urgent matters immediately and has addressed other concerns since our stay.
4.8
Quiet neighborhood, great parking, enough room for 8 adults to get ready and to relax between events. It’s also a short walk to a great park for the dog.
4.8
Great place to stay! Close proximity to everything, yet a neighborhood feel. Hot tub was nice to relax and house was well-equipped for us! Highly recommend!!
4.8
Great location but house was outdated, the kitchen was not very well stocked. Does not seem like much attention is being made to keeping place up- in July there were still Christmas decorations around.
4.8
Beautiful. Clean nice great location.

Management was very accommodating with our needs. And nice location too. Great for a family of 6!!
4.8
Really nice place. Had a decent size group and it never felt crowded or small. Everything was clean and ready for us when we got there which was very nice.
4.8
This is a lovely home with a beautiful view that’s very accommodating for a group. Although bedrooms and bathrooms are little dated, the living area is wonderful and a large space not usually found in Vail Valley. It’s a great space for entertaining and very comfortable. We would come again!
4.8
Nice house in a nice neighborhood in east Vail. The garbage/recycling had not been taken out from the previous vacationers so we took out their garbage and our own. No big deal. Hot tub was clean and fully functional.
4.8
Great house for a ski trip. Short Uber to town, and 3 blocks from the bus stop.
4.8
Clean, comfortable and good communication

My husband and I and our three sons We’re so grateful to find the property was better than expected and we already thought it would be perfect. This property has everything you could need including humidifiers in all the bedrooms, plenty of linens and extra blankets… And the hot tub on the back deck was such a joy for everyone after a long day of skiing. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. I hope we can come back soon

Beautiful property! Very clean and had everything we needed.

This was the perfect place for our family Thanksgiving. The large living, dining, and kitchen area was just what we needed for our gathering. Clean, comfortable, and just as advertised.
4.8
The layout of the house was great - perfect living room for a family wanting to hang out together. We were there for a wedding at vail and it was in a good location - not too far away.
4.8
This is quite a very pretty home--very well appointed--lots of supplies. Very comfortable for four people with pets.
It's really a lovely home--the big family room was great and we enjoyed the gas fireplace.
4.8
The house was beautifully decorated and the fully equipped kitchen was wonderful. The master bedroom had a comfortable mattress, but the other bedrooms need the mattresses replaced.
4.8
The common area with its soaring cathedral ceiling and enormous glass window giving a nearly unobstructed view of the ridge is the jewel of this property. The long eight-person table, four-person counter, and massive sectional couch let all ten of us spread out while being together. You may want to bring your own sleeping pillows. The entertainment system has been neglected for awhile, and the overall decor is fussy and dated. But none of that really mattered to us. We would have no reservations booking this property again.
4.8
The shuttle service for vail made getting around so easy! The house was perfectly laid out for our family of 6! Kitchen had everything we could need!
Great hot tub, fireplace, easy checkout! We all enjoyed our stay!

Great place
Enjoyed the property.
minor nit:
Dishwasher could use an upgrade (or maintenance) as dishes weren't getting cleaned.

This house was perfect for our group of 8. Two older couples and four children ages 25-30. The upstairs living area is very spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well stocked with every spice you might want. The upstairs master is large and beautiful. The downstairs rooms are much smaller but worked fine for our group. We arrived in the middle of a snowstorm and our driveway was plowed out fairly early the next morning. When we returned from the slopes our deck was completely shoveled. The development, however still had a lot of snow and you really need all wheel drive to navigate around
Hot tub was wonderful with easy access off of the main living area and plenty of towels are provided.
Overall a great stay.

This is a beautiful house with plenty of space for a big group. We had 4 adults and 3 children (ages 14, 12, 9), and we loved it here. It is very comfortable, cozy, and inviting. The host has provided good instructions for all amenities and local options.
The house comes with everything you will need for a short stay, but you may want to bring toiletries if you are staying a week or more.
The house is pretty far from Vail village, but the buses run regularly, or a 15-20 minute drive if you have a car (which we did not). It is a few blocks away from the nearest bus stop, but the walk wasn't too bad. Note that it may be difficult to get deliveries and uber out so far...
We did have a rough night one night when we got home and were locked out of the house due to a malfunction with the electric lock. The property manager was rude, and it took him an hour to get to us. It was cold, the kids (and adults) were tired, and it was not a good experience that night. Otherwise, all communications with them were fine.
Overall would recommend this property. It is lovely!

This house is great for having multiple family members enjoy the Vail area. Lots of parking and close to fly fishing entry point where son in law caught multiple trout daily. Hot tub was wonderful and beds were comfortable. Large living room and kitchen and deck. Very quick response time from property management. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great vacation, I thought the property manager was on the cold side and not very responsive. If you want to cook bring your own utensils/pots/pans etc. Also, the oven isn't calibrated correctly. The jacuzzi was awesome and it is a very large space for a group of people.

Perfect spot!
A couple things were broken/messed up when we checked in. They sent someone the next morning and got it all fixed. The tub did have paint splatters all over it, but 100% we would stay here again! Very quiet and peaceful!

Relaxing and so comfortable!
We loved staying at this property. It was perfect for our family. Our only complaint is that we wished there was a king bed in the master bedroom.

Great location in East Vail. Uncrowded and quiet neighborhood. Nice area to take a walk without worrying about heavy traffic; also close access to Vail biking trail. House comfortably accommodated 9 people. Kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, silverware, plates, etc.; facilitated cooking for 5 days. Beautiful view of mountains from deck.. Soaking in hot tub felt great following long afternoon hikes!
